I have a HTC Desire HD 2.2.1
Version 1.75
I am unable to downgrade or create a gold card I have tried 6 different SD cards with no luck
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Which guide did you follow for the goldcard? And at which point do you think it hasn't worked? I can't see 6 different sd cards failing.
I think the original SD card should work.
My fail at the beginning was the current selection into my. Hex Editor for the SD card. Read carefully.

Downgrade problem
Hi, (second post - so tell me if I should have started a new topic)
I'm having major issues with my DHD and hope someone can help me out. I bought an unlocked unbranded phone from ebay (4 weeks ago).(I'm in Australia) I didn't pay too much attention to the software version number (assuming now it as a WWE perhaps 1.32.405.3 or 1.32.405.6) - everything was good - everything worked - although GPS took a long time to sync. Wifi hotspot excellent. Last Friday I got a notification that a firmware update was available (37mg) and advised using wifi - which I did - a couple of minutes later the firmware was updating. Phone restarted and I thought some things just work, the world is beautiful and went back to thinking it's time to get rid of that iphone on the shelf for me the Browser is way better at zooming in and the wifi hotspot allowed me to get rid of my 3G USB stick for work related laptop stuff while away from home, I had even tried a few widgets although really still don't understand the difference between widgets and applications but that's a different problem (perhaps age related)
Anyway, just after the update things started to go wrong. The first indication was the keyboard had suddenly changed to Arabic - with luckily a couple of English middle eastern choices English(Kuwait) is the one I'm using now. The update installed version 1.83.415.4 - problems include 3G data not working, Web browser only works with wifi and two options I thought were available in networks are now greyed out - USB Tethering and Internet Pass Through. The wifi hotsport starts and can be seen by a laptop, but doesn't work when trying to use it. So really all I have is the phone & SMS working.
All the locales are Arabic and there is only the one keyboard - I can't change the input choice (or perhaps I should say there is no other choice the default keyboard is gone) I contacted HTC support - who very very good at checking and tell me the DHD is from the U.A.E. (United Arab Emirates) and I would need to get support from them ?? I assume this will be a further waste of time.
I would like to get a WWE version (1.32.405.6) working again and I have read and googled lots of forum threads and I have tried the following:
1.
Tried running RUU with 1.32.405.6 - The usb connection drops as the bootloader is started and the HTC symbol comes up and then a minute or two later get the error 171 connection failed.
2.
Downloaded a PD98img.zip (tried 1.32.405.6 and 1.32.405.3) placed it on the root of the SDcard and booted into bootloader.
Result:
Hboot loads the file then errors:
Main Version is older!
Update Fail!
Press <power> to reboot
3
So having learnt a lot, I took the rom.zip from the temp PC directory (from the RUU) put it on the SD card and called it PD98img.zip and rebooted the DHD - runs Hboot and loads the file then errors with:
Main Version is older!
Update Fail!
Press <power> to reboot
4.
Downloaded the RUU 1.15.405.1 - Before starting I downloaded HTC sense version 3 and got the DHD connected. Ran the RUU to the point it said connect the DHD. Then I got the rom.zip from the PC and replaced it with a copy of 1.32.405.6 rom.zip and continued the RUU. RUU reported the version on the phone is 1.83.415.4 and that it was to be replaced by 1.32.405.6. The connection failed as per Try 1 above. Tried a few times (as suggested - but it just fails everytime)
5.
Got the 1.32.405.6 rom.zip from 1. above and renamed it to PB99img.zip and put this on the SD card and started the bootloader - this time I was able to cursor up and down and selected Recovery. The red triangle appeared - meanwhile I was waiting the 10 minutes expected to load. Did some more googling and the triangle turns out to be bad - ie: not working - used the up vol and power and got to a new menu with a couple of options reboot, apply SDcard:update.zip, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition. There was also an error 171 in yellow font further down the screen:
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
I selected apply SCcard:update.zip - then another yellow line appeared
-- Invalid operation --
6.
So I thought let's rename the PB99img.zip to update.zip and ran the steps from 4. again - same errors occurred.
I think the bootloader version is:
HBoot - 0.85.0019
eMMC-boot
Dec27 2010, 14:47:30
7.
Found the downgrade instructions in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003
Downloaded the Stock 1.32 PD98IMG.zip
Assumed no need for Goldcard (probably wrongly)
set the DHD to USB debugging and connected Charge only
opened a cmd prompt & wondered where I might have a downgrade folder - (so I downloaded the adb.exe and some dlls)
typed in commands(as below) (kept going even though the first line appeared to fail
C:\adb>adb push psneuter /data/tmp
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
cannot stat 'psneuter': No such file or directory
C:\adb>adb push psneuter /data/tmp
cannot stat 'psneuter': No such file or directory
C:\adb>adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp
cannot stat 'misc_version': No such file or directory
C:\adb>adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/psneuter
Unable to chmod /data/local/tmp/psneuter: No such file or directory
C:\adb>adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/misc_version
Unable to chmod /data/local/tmp/misc_version: No such file or directory
So no # appeared. (as expected in guide)
Can anybody help me?
Where can I get the right downgrade folder files from?
Is this method going to work for me?
and a silly question - none of the zip files (and there have been lots) open with XP SP3 PC is this right?
Hi,
The method posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003 worked for me like a charm. The key thing here is that you follow the instructions perfectly.
From my experience you need to create the GoldCard using the HEX Editing method. The method posted which is automated on another site does not work. Trust me I tried to make it work for hours! and it just doesnt work.
Key thing is to also use MMC2 not MMC1 or MMC0.
Hope this helps.
The method posted above, helped me debrand my phone and downgrade it to the version listed. It worked a treat!
Is Working now ?

The only issue / problem is that once rebooted and DHD starts up the setup only gives me a choice of 6 or so English options all middle eastern , eg: Kuwait, etc no US or Australia.
There must be some other file that has locale options in it that is wrong and or not replaced by the downgrade?? Does anyone have an answer for this ??
Otherwise I have #G data, standard keyboard, browser is working, that's all I've checked so far - hopefully everything will work
Use app from Market: MoreLocale 2
Gold Card seems to have been created correctly but the zip file wont load from the boot manager
Any Error messages ?
The Device Reboots into Bootmanager and then ?
in boot loader it just says loading sd ... loading image and image not found and it cant find all the items it looks for and then exits
update I was able to get the image to validate, but it says checking image and the bar scrolls up to the top and then it goes back to the main bootloader menu.
I need help this is so frustrating

Hi all,
I've been around xda since I got my htc 4350, everything was jolly well. And now I'm struggling with rooting my European Hero HTC 2.73.405.66.
I tried all the ways and workarounds I could find on the internet and nothing seems to work.
SDK fastboot gets denied, flashing a recovery image using apps does not work, instant rood does not work, nothing at all, did the goldcard twice, terminal emulator. I cannot even downgrade, although in my frustration at 6 in the morning I managed to flash a generic WWE rom I found on Modaco. It was the only thing that did anything HTC Generic 2.73.405.66- it seems to be exactly the same- in the end the result is the same as if I had wiped it.
I ended up at the point where I started.
Either I have me some nasty version of protected rom, or I'm missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
what phone do you have orange, tmobile etc and where are you based

People often make the mistake of NOT running the hex editor as ADMINISTRATOR <==not shouting, just emphasising.
I did run it as an administrator, twice, triple checked everything, still no go.
And now, on top of everything if I follow the instructions on:
showpost.php?p=4257045&postcount=38
I get the following:
C:\A\sdk\tools>adb shell mount /system
adb server is out of date. killing...

Usage: mount [-r] [-w] [-o options] [-t type] device directory
C:\A\sdk\tools>adb push su /system/bin/

I often do not understand why people with the latest official ROM are using the goldcard method. Just use the flashrec apk as all pointed out at http://theunlockr.com/2009/08/27/how-to-root-your-htc-hero-in-one-click/

I have similar problems try in to root my friend Hero from T-mobile uk he get this device about month ago.

Thanks, but all versions of it did the same- gave me an error when attempting to back up and the install key was greyed out
Yes, I entered the name of the image correctly.
Did you format your sd card as prescribed? Lot of people forget that. Then it should definitely work.

*sigh* Enable usb-debugging. Fixed the whole greyed-out button problem for me. Be sure to unplug your usb cable during this progress.
Ok, I finally got it, this Rom that I managed to flash (the only one of all that were supposed to downgrade my phone) finally accepted the flashrec thing
Thank you all for your help

I had the same problem until I downgraded the rom. My Hero is from 3UK. Nothing seemed to work, after downgrading I could root my phone, have already tried a few Roms. I will probably go back to the 3UK stock Rom and wait for the official upgrade at the end of April. I was just curious to see how rooting is done and to get a glimpse of Android 2.1 with Live Wallpapers and Google Maps with Navigation. They are all nice features, but my phone is much slower, no matter what Rom I use. I tried wiping the phone, but it is still slow, I wasn't able to find one to match the latest Rom from 3UK.
I have spent hours upon end trying to root my Droid Incredible. I have installed usb driver from unrevoked on my phone, have android sdk on my C drive and followed directions over and over again. I even reset my phone a couple of time to go through the process all over again to make sure I didn't miss something. I'm running win 7 ult. I selected debugginh mode on DINC and uninstalled htc synch from pc. Someone please help. This is like the 4/5 forum I've posted this same problem on. No one will give me an answer. Also, I get a message saying"failed to flash recover image: ClockworkMod Recovery

Make sure you do not have HTC sync installed first. (very important) Then go to unrevoked's site and download their custom hboot drivers and install. Then download unrevoked 3.2 plug phone into computer. (make sure usb debugging is enabled on phone) Run the unrevoked 3.2 tool on computer and let it do the rest of the work itself.
Drivers, Wiki, and unrevoked 3.2 tool can all be found HERE
Good luck!!!
once again, I followed the instructions exactly. Still get a message saying Failed to flash recovery. HTC Synch was not installed nor is it at this time. Heere is my phones info:Android version 2.2

How can I be the only one that's having this problem? I'm a moderate Linux user and should not be having such a difficult time with a "1 Click" method. Is there a fail safe method I can do manually to ensure a root to my phone?
Do you have S-ON or S-OFF? Since you're having such trouble with it (and you said you've reset before), I would try reverting completely to stock ROM and radio, root, then go from there. The best guide I found so far for this is:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=760306
I have neither s-on or s-off. I never was able to root my stock Android 2.2
Not possible. By default, it's S-ON. Go into HBOOT by turning the power off, hold the volume down button and power on. At the top you should see S-ON or S-OFF (probably on).
it says s-on

Go to this link and follow the instructions for option 5. It will walk you through the steps to downgrade your phone to 2.1, root, set S-OFF. Once this is done, it will walk your through the steps to reload 2.2 and reroot. When you do these steps, it will wipe your phone back to factory.

I will try. I'll give the results after I do. Thanks!
You need to be a little more specific than you've "followed all the steps." Which version of unrevoked did you use? Have you tried 3.21?
I'm running 3.14 which I got from their site today. my phone info is as follows:
Android version 2.2
Baseband version 2.15.00.07.28
Kernel version 2.6.32.15-gb7b01d1
Software number 3.21.605.1

I followed the steps and everything seemed to go good until I ran reboot bootloader. here was the final steps:
24. Enter reboot bootloader and press enter.
25. HBoot will load. Select bootloader and HBoot will then load PB31IMG.zip.
26. Follow the instructions to have HBoot install PB31IMG.zip.
The Hboot screen came up. The bootloader option was already highlighted. I assume to select this option you simply push the power button, so I did. nothing happened. it just returned me to the hboot screen. The only thing that I can think of is when I tried to run:
10. Enter adb push flash_image /data/local/ and then press enter.
It said the file was not found. I changed the file name from flash_img.dat to flash_img and the command ran w/o further errors. Any ideas?
the up volume rocker is yes not the power button

Yo need to redo the steps and follow them as written. The file flash_image does not have an extention. If you downloaded the downgrade.zip file and copied the files where you are supposed to, you should have no problems.

I'm at work right now so I can't go over it now. If you're still having trouble when I get home in 12 or so hours, I'll write it out step for step, taking you back to stock, then root.

Thanks. I will wait for your instructions to ensure success. Also, I need to know whether or not to erase SD card before following your steps. I was an avid Linux user and feel stupid right now. Maybe you can give me instructions for dummies version. Thanks
The Unrevoked currently available isn't compatible with 2.2 - it says that right on their page. You're probably trying to root your 2.2 inc with unrevoked 3.14. You need to wait for them to re-release 3.2 once the bugs they found are fixed.
Hi there im a beginner user so pls bare with me,
In Feb i became the proud owner of a Desire HD running Froyo 2.2 which was working perfectly, then i applied the OTA firmware update which screwed up my GPS's ability to get a lock. To fix this i read numerous forums and what i did was downgraded back to the original firmware my phone came with 1.32.405.3 and also used ADB to change the /system/etc/gps.conf file from reading:
NTP_SERVER=north-america.pool.ntp.org
to
NTP_SERVER=nz.pool.ntp.org
.....as i live in New Zealand..........I did this by copy the file /system/etc/gps.conf from my phone to my computer changed the code and used the following adb code in command prompt to push my updated gps.conf file back into the /system/etc/ folder in my phone:
adb devices
adb push psneuter /data/local/tmp
adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp
adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/psneuter
adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/misc_version
adb shell /data/local/tmp/psneuter
adb shell mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p25 /system
adb push gps.conf /system/etc/gps.conf
adb shell mount -o remount,ro /dev/block/mmcblk0p25 /system
exit
After that i was delighted to see that my GPS started working again but what i had discovered was that when i restarted my phone the first line of code in the gps.conf file reverts back to NTP_SERVER=north-america.pool.ntp.org which means my GPS doesn't get a lock again so i then manually do the process i mentioned above to change North.America to NZ, this process isnt a big hassle but more an inconvenience and was thinking there has got to be a way to change the loading script or something like that so that every time my phone restarts the code reads NZ.
So in essence i am trying to find out if anyone knows a way to make the first line of code in the gps.conf file read NZ i/o North.America everytime i restart my phone WITHOUT ROOTING IT (personal preference)......there must be a way to temp root using adb then change the code within the boot image or script however it works im not sure.....?
Your help is much appreciated
Hi HakaWaka
You have to root it if you wanna make it easier. (That's one of the advantages of rooting)
You can use Visionary+ to temproot and permroot your Desire HD. However, even if you wish to just temproot it, after you change your ntp server, no matter what if you reboot your phone it will be back to normal. (i.e. it will be back to north-america) I tried it before, thats why i know.
If you permroot it, it will be easier. Once you permroot it, just install FasterFix. Downloadable from Market. And from there, change your ntp server, it is just that simple though. Changes will remain no matter how many times you reboot your phone.
Cheers mate.
Thanks superstick1!
I've tried using Visionary+ to temproot but it starts to load then shows a white screen indicating that it's jammed so im worried to do a permaroot and screw the phone up :S.

There are lots of guides linked in the sticky at the top of the Development forum that go into step by step details. But if you're on 1.32.405.6 then Visionary should work. I noticed you said 1.32.405.3 in your first post, was that a typo or are you on the Vodafone RUU? If you are I would switch to 1.32.405.6 and try again.
I just double checked and nope it was no typo firmware = 1.32.405.3. I might try switching to .6 and try Visionary again...

Default rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003
and Android SDK http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Also you will need a clean SD card 1 gig or more should be fine (smaller is better)
Unzip GingerBreak and misc_version into a folder say c:\Downgrade (I normally use 7Zip)
You should have:
c:\Downgrade\GingerBreak with 5 Files
c:\Downgrade\misc_version with 4 Files
Make sure you installed Android SDK's Platform tools and updated your path to reflect this
IE: run SDK Manager and install Android SDK Tools and Google USB Driver pack if you don t have HTC Sync driver running.
Format the SD card and copy the rom.zip into the base of the card, not a sub directory. (Do not unzip)
Now: Plug in the phone to the USB and make sure Debugging is on and the phone is set to charge only.
Then open Command prompt ie: run cmd.exe
Go to your Downgrade directory and test if your adb command is in the path. ie: run it and make sure it lists switches and not say file not found
Then run as follow
adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp
adb push GingerBreak /data/local/tmp
adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/misc_version
adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/GingerBreak
adb shell
./data/local/tmp/GingerBreak
if you fail to get root ie: prompt does not return to # or get a endless sendmsg() failed? Error, reboot the phone and repeat the commands above. The phone I used, took 3 tries to get this right.
at the # run the following
cd /data/local/tmp
./misc_version -s 1.31.405.6
When its done exit cmd and goto your phone, Reboot it while pressing volume down.
It will come up with a menu and follow the update instructions.
You should then be on Android version 2.2 when done.
Please note the rom that is supplied works with unbranded phone only if you have a branded phone you will need to make a goldcard. If you want to know how to make one, google is your friend sorry.
Hello Folks,
I have the same software as mentioned in the first post above:
Android Version: 2.3.3
HTC Sense Version : 2.1
Baseband : 12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2
Kernel : 2.6.35.10-g0956377 ([email protected]#1)
Build Number : 2.36.405.8 CL47853 release-keys
Software : 2.36.405.8
and tried the solution as given to the reply to the post. I have an unlocked unbranded HTC Desire HD. The cmd window looks like below.
c:\Htc>adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp
adb server is out of date. killing...
*daemon started successfully*
410 KB/s <16830 bytes in 0.04s>
c:\Htc>adb push GingerBreak /data/local/tmp

I would appreciate if anyone could help me out. One other thing is the I was a bit lost about the installation of the Android SDK Platform etc...as mentioned, I presume it is required if you don't have HTC sync/drivers installed! Or is still needed?.
Just follow jkoljo method, worked for me.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003
I think you need to run GingerBreak in you method instead of typing su
Hope that will help.

Thanks for the reply mate. It's my mistake, I was actually typing the cmd window in the forum so might have omitted the line actually. So yeah, I did run the gingerbreak following
adb shell
./data/local/tmp/GingerBreak
after which it again returns to $. I read in the same thread below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003
that you have to get a # instead of $. So if you get $ then type su to get super user. It is said that a window will pop up on phone after typing su in cmd asking for permission. But I don't get any such pop up on my phone screen. Also, after running Gingerbreak, the cmd just returns the same $. Gingerbreak does not even run as far as I can say.
I wonder why after each adb command it returns:-
adb server is out of date. killing...
*daemon started successfully*
Any thoughts...
Use the adb that comes with jkoljo downgrade pack, and install HTC sync on your PC.
hello.. i have a desire hd with build number 2.37. based on gingerbread 2.3.3 .. i have a unbranded desire hd with s-off.. is it possible for me to downgrade to 2.2.. i followed ur guide using dhd in charge only with debugg mode but every time it gives me erroe that adm is out of date killing deamon started succesfull.. pls help i m fed up with the stock rom .. gingerbread ota is full of bugs and with connectivity problems.. thankz in advance
As far as I know, you cannot temp root 2.37 and hence downgrade is impossible at present
But you mentioned that you have S-off... how is that possible? Because if it is S-off, I am sure you can flash a custom recovery and then flash a custom Rom.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am using the adb that came with the xda thread to downgrade. It's a folder that contains the adb and other stuff like GB........Yes, I do have HTC Sync installed on the PC as well.....so far I tried both my notebook and home desktop...same results. So confused...
I have s-off because when I was on froyo with build number 1.32 I rooted my dhd.. and now I updated it 2.3.3. Check the last post they say u can try downgrading if u have dhd with s-off
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
If you have S-OFF you should be able to flash CWM and install another ROM as naailalzuhir says. If you go to the CWM thread in the development section, it will tell you how to flash CWM from fastboot. When that is installed you should just be able to install a different ROM without downgrading. I think, but lets wait for soebody else's opinion on that.

Do you have anything from SDK running in background? Check your task manager, if you have adb.exe running, terminate it before running adb shell command.
I am assuming that you closed HTC sync software on your PC, plugged with USB debugging mode and charge only.
Hope that can help.

Hmm interesting You can indeed flash a custom Rom then and forget the hassel to root.
See these two posts in the forums for guidance.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017364 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=948304
NOTE: try to download 3.0.2.6 instead of 3.0.0.5 for EXT4 support.
Cheers
U want to say that if I Ve s-off I can flash custom Rom directly .. irrespective of temproot and that stuff... Guyz do temproot those u Ve s-on.. if this is soo I m on the top of the world
Also one thing does flashing from cwm is different than flashing custom Rom from rommanager.. I installed Rom manager but the option to flash cwm is not clickable .. pls help
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
That should be because you're not rooted so you do not have access to the recovery directory whilst booted into Android. You can also flash CWM from fastboot, bypassing the Android system completely. Instructions how to do that and the CWM files are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1003723
Please wait for somebody's confirmation before attempting that though.
There is one more question if sumthing goes wrong while flashing then my phone ll be dead or get reverted to stock Rom.. if any unfortunately phone becomes dead then is there any chance reviving it back again.. I know its a dumb question but matters to me most cuz I can't spend again 30grands buying it...

Pls answer me.. I ve downloaded the pd918.zip file and I ve put it in root of SD card... Now I ve s-off. And when go into bootloader screen it analyses the image ask me to update... So am I eligible to do the downgrade process without having temproot...

I got HTC Desire HD with Gingerbread 2.3.3. I wasnt able to get the complete details (my fault) before downgrading.
I have downgraded it to Froyo (2.2) and after that it is taking more than 5 minutes to Start up with too long vibration and everytime I tried to insert the sim card it switched off and another more than 5 minutes of waiting.
I cannot run RRU and even go to volume down and power switch area (or they call it HBOOT).
I don't know what to do now.
Please help :crying:
Try to pull battery before trying to boot with volume down.
And you it seems that you have messed your bootloader. Was your phone shipped with gingerbread?
This guide should fix it.
Try it with this latest HTC Desire HD RUU .

RUU Update - Flashing Android RUU Update Using HBoot
- First you need the RUU.exe that you intend to install.
- Run the RUU as Administrator.
- Tick the 'I understand the caution indicated above...' box, and click next.
- At this point do not go any further!
- Navigate to C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Temp (xxxxx is your user name , and ... AppData is a hidden folder)
- You should see one or two folders like this example: {E328FA5C-81C2-4B70-96AE-D5418A9A5B75}
- Go into the folder with "dotnetinstaller.exe".
- Open the next folder. (like this example: {50F2F878-636A-496F-A7CB-544C067E0C4B}
- Copy "rom.zip" into another folder (outside of temp).
- At this point just Cancel and quit the ROM Update Utility.
- Rename the "rom.zip" to "PD98IMG.zip" and put it on to the root directory of your MicroSD card in your phone.
- Shut down the phone.
- Press the Power button + Volume down button at the same time and hold them untill you get to HBOOT (white screen with skateboarding android).
- Wait for the HBOOT to parse the zip file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and boot into newly flashed device.

I'm really not sure if this unit was shipped with gingerbread because we only got this as pre-owned from a shop.
The volume down + power button is not working for me anymore.
I have tried the RRU with no luck, but I will try the steps that you have provided.
Thank you so much!

You messed up the bootloader, it happened to me just a few days ago. You need to flash an original hboot.ng0 through adb.

Sure I will. As of the moment the phone is with my friend. I haven't done the steps since she is still trying to use the |slow boot HTC DESIRE HD Froyo".
I still wanted to fix it and I will do it as soon as I got it back.
Thanks again

Check the guide in my signature, you have the hboot fix there. It does not work always, but it is worth a try. Don't try to flash a RUU with the hboot in that state or you might brick your device.

You need basic knowledge of adb commands. If you are already S-OFF, then you can skip steps and start in line 15. Hope you can fix it....if you need further help, just let me know. Regards; :good:

I was able to resolved my issue. What I did is follow the steps that I've got online/though I know that we also have this on this forum:
md5sum hboot.nb0
adb push hboot.nb0 /data/local/tmp/
adb push gfree /data/local/tmp/
adb push psneuter /data/local/tmp/
adb shell chmod 0755 /data/local/tmp/gfree
adb shell chmod 0755 /data/local/tmp/psneuter
adb shell /data/local/tmp/psneuter
adb shell /data/local/tmp/gfree -f
adb shell
dd if=/data/local/tmp/hboot.nb0 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18 of=/data/local/tmp/hboot.test
sync
exit
adb pull /data/local/tmp/hboot.test
md5sum hboot.test
All md5sums should be 2a28dcd53ea26504be9a86572a348aa1
adb reboot
After that the phone restarted got white HTC screen and then it fades. I got scared cause I thought that I did something wrong again.
I swithced it off and press the volume and power button and got on the hboot screen. I tried to restore and everything with no luck just the phone went black screen.
Oh my head aches :cyclops:
I put the file that I have downloaded online RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_HTC_WWE_3.12.405.1_Radio_12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M_release_225512_signed.zip and rename it PD98IMG.zip then again restarted my phone to hboot and successfully updated the PHONE.
Oh My! My phone comes back on 2.3.5 Android!
I'm so happy! Thank you so much! Very much appreciated!
Now how can I root and s-off this android version so I can install custom firmware

The fix you provide is incomplete....I would suggest you remove it. The complete fix is in the guide I linked you.
If you are already S-OFF, then you just need to flash a custom rom and you are ready to go. Otherwise, you need to use the Hack Kit to achive S-OFF and root.
