[Q] Need help in unrooting(asia/SIngapore){don mind giving donation if solved }

I need help in unrooting my htc desire,
baseband version 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2
I tried many times to use different RUU but they return the same result asking me to use the correct rom .
The following are the RUU I tried.
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed

Are you using a goldcard, if not thats why there not working.
Use this guide to create a gold card its pretty simple and any RUU will hopefully work.

There is no RUU_Bravo_Froyo_hTC_Asia_India_2.13.720.1_Radio_32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2_release_144051_signed.exe
Where did you get that link?

Rooting my Desire HD?

My desire hd is running 2.3.3 now and I want to root my phone without downgrading because I don't know how to downgrade.
So my question is. Can I root my desire hd without downgrading or is my firmware too high?

without downgrade is impossible

Doesnt the advanced ace hack work?
If not do you think there will be a direct root for 2.3.3 soon?

I'm pretty sure the only possible way is the downgrade.
There is not really any point in devs looking into rooting 2.3 as you can do a simple downgrade.
It's not hard read some info and go for it.

Works perfectly.

After i had my phone replaced by insurance it was on the newest base. So i had to downgrade.
I ussed this very sucesfully

Do you like sense? If so flash RCMix3d Runny v1.5
If you want stock android flash cyanogenmod

Hi everyone.
Is there anyway to temproot a HTC Desire HD running
Stock Rom android 2.3.5 sense 3.0? As I don't want to permroot and void my warranty.

Search in google for advanced ace hack kit. And it will be easy just follow the steps but before that read manual

dont just read the manual but read and UNDERSTAND the manual, i did AAHK and jellytime on mine and to be fair its was easyish once i reread several times.

But the problem now is that the things they told is for version lower than mine. They say need to downgrade it but I just don't understand how :/

i said read and fully understand the hack kit - it WILL downgrade before rooting your DHD

If i root and downgrade DHD with Aah kit then would i lost all my contacts,sms and installed apps & games data?

You will lose the data in the phone...the sdcard is not touched at all.

When i first rooted mine over a year ago, i used the Ultimate Multi Tool.

For backing up my contacts and sms messages and transferring from one rom to another, I use MyPhoneExplorer (found on the market), so far not had any issues using this.

Hey there, i'm on the same "level" as the topic creator and yes, i've been reading around + reading the AAHK manual a couple of times now and well, i think im ready to use it. There is just one thing that bugs me, and that is the downgrading. I understand the downgrading itself, but im just unsure about the whole; "Was my DHD shipped with Froyo or Gingerbread and what does this mean and how do i check it etc etc" :/
I really hope someone can help me with this

In that case yes, bought it completely new in the first days of January in 2011.

HTC Desire HD Success root using One Click Root
I want to share that if anyone wants to root HTC Desire (DHD) A9191 Gingerbread 2.3.5 ---> One Click Root 3.7 works well.
1. Used Windows 7 32 bit (because HTC drivers did not work in Windows 10)
2. I unlocked the bootloader as intructed in htcdev.com/bootloader/
3. Downloaded one click root from sendspace.com/file/ylqkve

I'm a first time everything here and well,I'm afraid of "bricking" my Desire,can anyone help or even point me to a thread or something that could help me please? (ROM recommendations would be great too)

Well this is the desire (bravo) section, and the method to root is a bit different. Try posting in the desire HD for more help, although I'd advise that you read the many existing guides before asking questions in order to reduce your chances of getting flamed
