Dear all, I have GW910 with Windows 7 OS. It's locked by user code (i believe it's user lock). Is there any solution for remove it? The owner has been lost the password.
Thanks in advance
Have the "user" logon to windowsphone.live.com with thier Windows Live ID and recover thier lock code.

Hi guys,
First post, so, firstly, hello! I've been using this website for a while,
I have a question that need to help.
I'm using S620 n I have installed App F-Secure Mobile Security to Anti-theft only.(this app will send a private message to me when SIM changed.)
To enable Remote Lock Function, I must set my S620 locked.
However if the device locked, when U start your device, it will require to type your password. How must I do to disable this func. when starts. Because when my device is stolen, if it locked, the theft can hard reset all.
It want to be a Remote Control and a Remote Lock that the theft don't know!
I tried to search and found "Device Lock.exe" and "Device Lock.mui" files in Windows Folder but I can't open Device Lock.mui
Thanks!
hi
how can i delete or disable guest user?
i set a pass for this user but when i switch user. in lock screen device ask: do you want to reset user profile and when i push yes button than password of this user is now gone.
whit this situation anybody can access to my data.
i have
p601 5.1.1 rooted
I don't think you'd want to completely delete the guest user. I had 'disabled' the guest user I thought and the guest user was invaluable to me, just today. I'm running a rooted SM-P607T and I had an issue were my lock screen pin was no longer recognized and I was locked out of the device. I was able to log onto the guest user account and with the help of various tools was able to repair the lock screen pin were I could again use the device with my account...and not have to flash everything on the device.
The Guest account was a life saver and if it used by a normal user has no rights to do any damage what-so-ever.
So I have got kind of a strange buggy problem. I have an LG G4 with Android 6.0. I recently encrypted my phone with the standard Android encryption method. I used a six character password for this. After about a month my phone prompted that I had to change my password because it had expired. I must change the password in order to gain entry to the phone. So, I click 'change password', type in my old password, click continue and then it returns me to the lock screen?! Locked! It never actually lets me change my password. So I'm kinda stuck.
I tried using software like dr.fone to gain entry to at least save my files, but my phones default pc connection setting is charging and since I can't gain entry, I can't set it to MTP sharing. So I can't even gain entry through my PC.
Is this a known bug? I couldn't find anything on the internet about this. Anybody have any idea? I know I can just factory reset, but I really want to try saving my files. There's some pretty important stuff on my phone.
Thanks in advance,
Greetings,
Luca

Bootloader is locked I assume.
So your phone will not let you log in until you change the password but will not let you change the password
Hi all,
I have a HTC Wildfire where I lost the pattern log in and password for the associated account.
The phone has not been online for at least two years.
Yesterday I powered it up for the first time in two years. It seems to work perfect, but I can only get to the log-in screen that is asking for account name and password. I have a pretty good idea of what the account email address is. And I think I still have access to said mail account. (not 100%, since I'm not sure what email address it is)
I have tried to connect with adb, but the device is listed 'offline' and I know that it is in 'S-on'.
I would like to recover the pictures stored in the phones internal memory. I have already recovered those stored on the sdcard.
I'm a developer, but not an android developer, so i feel confident with bootloaders, and debug tools like adb and fastboot.
Can you help me?

Hi pal,
Your options without adb or s-off/unlocked bootloader are very limited. your easiest option is going to be work out the account name and password for the device.
doe the device definitely not have a custom recovery or an unlocked bootloader?
I guess I just have to start typing possible username/password combinations.
Do you know if I have unlimited number of attempts?
