[Help] cant root Hero 2.73.495.24 for Ru UKR

hi guys
i have hero 2.73.495.24 and cant root this
install Flashrec 1.1.3 but when i want to back up recovery it say "Restore ERROR: could not execute command"
any body help me to root my device? plz?

im not totally sure with yours, but i have the 2.73.110.26, which can only be rooted using the Goldcard method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=572683

The above is the Log. I just followed the unlockr new method to root htc desire and i get an error log.

afaik unrevoked forever only works with htc desire HD.

and cdma desire afaik.
If you want to s-off a gsm-Desire, you need to use alpharev.

Thanks for all that responded. So i just download alpharev for desire and flash it by Clockworkmod then that's it right?

No, read the instructions on AlphaRev or this tutorial. Make sure you understand what you are doing and that the md5 matches.

no. You dont "flash" alpharev. Alpharev actually flashes another hboot.
Please do some reading before flashing anything...
What are you actually trying to achieve? Root or s-off or both?
If you want to root, use unrevoked and untick disable security since it doesnt work for gsm-Desire. If you want S-Off you to the alpharev-s-off-procedure afterwards.

Just done some reading regarding Alpha rev. I already downloaded it and burned it in a dvd. Unfortunately, Alpha rev says my version is unsupported but my Hboot is 0.94. Anyway try again. Thanks guys for the help.
I'll give all updates what happens. (Hopefully i won't brick it).

[Q] PC10IMG Errors

Hello, I'm on the g2 hboot on gingerbread but rooted. I'm trying to install the PC10IMG via bootloader and it keeps saying wrong image and some other stuff. It will not install for the life of me. I'm trying to install the stock froyo rom so I can install the ota update along with s-on for a warranty exchange. Please help!!

Do I need to do the steps for gaining temp root? Because I am already perm rooted.

Sorry misread your original post, you have followed the Unrooting and Returning to Stock section in the wiki? What is the exact error message you are getting?

When I reboot into bootloader with the PC10IMG on my sd it says "wrong image or..." I can't remember the other error though...

Fail to Root Desire

Hi guys, i'm new here, and YES! i have already a problem ...
So I got the Desire a few weeks ago, and I wanted to root it, then to install a cool ROM.
(I precise that I have Android 2.2, and HBOOT 0.93)
So I followed all the tutorials about rooting Desire, and I'm stuck everytime at the same point : UNREVOKED !!
I have done all the work like : HTC Sync uninstalled, download good drivers, USB debug, ..., and Unrevoked can't root my phone..
It says : " Rebooting
Waiting for bootloader...
Waiting for HBOOT to be ready
Waiting for Reboot
Internal error : couldn't find misc "
What's that ? I googled it but without many results...if you guys could help me please !!

are you on the stock rom right now?
and s-off or on?

Use revolutionary to s-off and install recovery, and then root.

OK so i did the Revolutionary method and it seems that it worked, but actually i can't say that i'm sure...how can i know that it worked?
I have installed Superuser but there are no apps in it...

You know revolutionary worked if you are s-off and have a custom recovery.

So I rebooted holding Volume Down and Power, and on the menu it says S-OFF and Revolutionary is installed successfully. But I tried to use some apps which need to be rooted and it didn't work...

Hi,
I just installed a custom ROM for the first time on my DHD with stock 2.3.5.
I used Glevitan's tutorial and tool to do it. It gives you a rooted, S-ON DHD with CWM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2168500 (prefer his tool instead of HTCDev, even if it uses HTCDev procedure too).

Just take your time and follow his instructions. Every should be okay.
If I have time this week-end, I will detail more every step.

I already tried HTCdev to unlock bootloader my DHD, but it says i neet to update the HBOOT
I tried to update the hboot, but it stucks when flashing the image
so i wanna try easy unlock tool, and the link is not working
