I just erased my batterystat.bin and restarted my phone and unplugged it off the charger... is it normal for it to drop 10 percent in ten minutes? And when the phone dies do I charge it with the phone on or off

I'm using the miui rom with the included kernal which i think is the cyanogen kernal

you should try to restore through CWR to a good setup. then reflash miui and try the ziggy bfs kernel for the inc i think it is 2-JAN-2011 version it is sick how good it is for battery life.

Does anyone know why after obtaining root it takes forever to charge the battery? I did not have this problem pre-root, but since root a 2 hour charge nets me like 20% battery. Thanks.

Ugh... Did a search for bump charging and found my own answer. Please delete

This is honestly one of the reasons I'm back to stock at the moment. Hopefully someone figures this out soon where bump charging isn't necessary...

Ur battery is gone dude.. U can try by plugging ur phone into charge n thn use the flash it wont reboot...

Yup, dying battery. Especially happens if the voltage is low (battery level is less than 40%). Get a new one and keep this as a backup battery. No more reboot while taking a photo.

Something might be draining your battery.
Even I've noticed many times, battery gets decreased while charging and playing games. Please don't use your mobile while charging. It can effectively improve the time it gets fully charged.
It's been my personal experience.
Or put in airplane mode over night to charge it effectively.

you can change an USB line
if no use, put mobile in airplane mode or shutdown to charge
(sorry for my poor english

I've been using it for a while and I had no issues. So absolutely not a kernel issue.
