Sign of a possible bad battery.

Ur battery is gone dude.. U can try by plugging ur phone into charge n thn use the flash it wont reboot...
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
Yup, dying battery. Especially happens if the voltage is low (battery level is less than 40%). Get a new one and keep this as a backup battery. No more reboot while taking a photo.

Battery life on Hd its very poor,,i know that but i want to know maybe i can recalibrate my battery like on Desire(standard Desire)
Tnx
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Yes you can calibrate. Perform a full charge for 6 to 7 hours. Reboot in recovery with phone not plugged in and from advanced menu in recovery hit wipe battery stats. Confirm your choice. Reboot and put phone to charge again till it hits 100%

Thanx man.

After that...battery life its better?
Tnx
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
It should. If it is not, then something wrong with rom. You will have to wipe and reflash. But before better to check your background apps, sync servers, 2g 3g, wifi bluetooth, screen brightness etc.
Sent from my LeeDroided Desire HD
Well...my phone its not rooted yet...
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Then you should check all background processes. Battery stats usually breaks when flashing roms. Screen and wifi are battery killers.

It's the same. Seems to be fairly standard on a lot of android phones.
Someone swyped my idea.
,,the same? Its not i cant go there...??????
Go to Settings > Applications > Uncheck Fast Boot. Then shut down your phone, and try pressing volume down key + power key.

You don't have custom clockworkmod flashed, ur still on stock recovery hence red triangle. Flash cwm with Rom manager and then go wipe the stats

Do i need to root my phone before that?

Hello guys, yesterday I plug my HOV to charge, I set the alarm and sleep, 6 hours later (to go to school) I woke up, because it was late to school. the thiing is my HOV does not play the alarm...my HOV was dead!!!
I disconnected it, and all the key combinations did not work...
So, when I return from school I plugged it again, the charging lead was blinking
Then I push the ON botton and it turns on...
I want to know, what happens to it.
I do not want to happen me again....
Why this happens??
That among others is a very common problem of our beloved HTCs.It is very prominent in the One X.
I suggest you try a factory reset.

But is it on risk?
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
I don't feel any risk in it.HTCs always act randomly.Just give factory reset a go.
Edit:don't leave it overnight for charging.Mine usually takes 3-4 hrs to fully charge.

^this.
Also never ever put your device to charge overnight. It'll ruin your battery.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Haha,I typed the edit at the same time you posted.
It does not ruin the battery;the charging probably stops at 100%; the charger becomes cold.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
So, only a wipe and I'm done?
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Try it and report the results and then we'll try further if the problem still exists.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Ok, so tomorrow I'll do the wipe cause now I'm gonna go to sleep, thanks for help, and I'll be reporting
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
The blinking when you are charging means that your battery is too low on power to turn on the phone (According to a HTC Care representative)
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Wipe done..let's see and don't charge all the f ..u.ck.ing.. night

Something might be draining your battery.
Even I've noticed many times, battery gets decreased while charging and playing games. Please don't use your mobile while charging. It can effectively improve the time it gets fully charged.
It's been my personal experience.
Or put in airplane mode over night to charge it effectively.
Sent from my LT26i using xda premium
you can change an USB line
if no use, put mobile in airplane mode or shutdown to charge
(sorry for my poor english
Do u think it can be the problem of kernal m using stock plus

I've been using it for a while and I had no issues. So absolutely not a kernel issue.

My desire keeps rebooting randomly, I think it's overheating but it really doesn't get very warm... What can be the cause of this?
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda app-developers app
Is your Desire by any chance a PVT1? You might have some motherboard problems.
It is. Anything I can do about it?
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda app-developers app
PVT1 models are known to have motherboard problems. The motherboard overheats, and it shuts down as a safety precaution. You need to change your motherboard, either by warranty, by going to a service, or by buying one online and changing it yourself.
I see. Thanks. It's time to buy a new phone anyways
