Should have asked in the general section. Personally, I don't. Try google; there are videos using some usb dongle to easily jailbreak your PS3. Warning, flames are rolling in.

Im just wondering, what part of this forum made you think this was a great place to ask that question? I mean this whole website is really organized and labeled. Clearly you've made it into the wrong device, Htc evo supersonic. Secondly, you proceeded to go to android development inside the realm of htc evo supersonic. but seriously, there are other sources you can get your PS3 jacked up. recently seen some development with the firmware so that SONY doesnt detect you flashing games and playing online as long as you behave yourself.
I don't know about jail breaking a PS3 but if you pm me I'll tell ya how to jump start you car with nintendo DS.

Just installed this last night Its amazing coming from 7.0.0 finally with the mouse cursor support.
Now I just backed all my apps from Titanium and noticed it would not back up and wont let me back up Full HDMI nor LCD Density and couple of other apps that I was running perfectly on 7.0.0 RC2 just wanted to know if anyone knows what is the problem thanks.

The "development section" isn't for things related to, but only for the development of. Such as a new rom or kernel for the masses to flash and or kang. You simply asked a question. That goes in the Q&A section as previously stated...

sorry bud, as with the many other threads with same question, the answer is that you can't root gingerbread on the evo yet. you will have to get in line with the others who want root but can't.

I use my iPad as much as my GS3 if not more... I need both..
I got an ipad2 after having used my Android phones since the G1. I found the iPad2 almost unusable. Not only that, but I am not buying apps that I've already bought. Looking forward to being able to buy a Nexus7 or KFHD to replace it.

A place to obtain, read about, and research issues with your devices. A place with a plethora of information designed with the end user in mind. Ever since I have heard about flashing phones to be more of what an end user would want to have on their phone, I knew I had to know more.
It started after I bricked my LG Ally, and I needed to know more. I bought my Droid X2, and from their the sky's the limit. Now I am on my Inspire 4G ported to Straight Talk and there is still much to learn and explore.
XDA Developers also bring light to what the future holds. Through developing and testing, some parts of mods Google then implements into their releases and the hardware then develops around the software to become one. Very interesting concept and hope it continues to thrive like it does!

XDA is a place to learn new things and also to help people with problems that you know the answers too.
I was introduced to xda by a mate who taught me the basics about android, before that I thought rooting was something u did with a woman and flashing, well that could have got u in trouble ha ha! But thanks to this brilliant community I have learned a lot in the year I have been on here, met some bloody sound people and have also given half my immediate family and a few friend's phones a new lease of life with the knowledge I have gained. Hopefully will learn more and my bottom line is, I'm glad I discovered xda!
