Hello there,
since i'm using a Custom-ROM on my HTC HD2 and use the phone in order with no SIM-card, there is always this "NO-SIM-CARD" icon in the status-/notification bar.
I almost tried modifying the services.jar file to make the "NO-SIM-CARD" icon disappear. I managed to disable the showing of the clock, battery and the phone-signal so far. But i can't get the "NO-SIM-CARD" icon to disappear.
Does anybody know how to do it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely, nitrate.

Read up on themeing, you should be able to swap out the icon for just a transparent png; Guide to Themeing
Hi,
I want to center my clock in the middle of the bar, but I'd like to remove AM/PM first; e.g. if it's 9:50PM it would only write 9:50, not 21:50.
Any ideas?
Thanks
I've been reading up on the subject it seems I have to edit SystemUI.apk by "decompiling" and "recompiling" it afterwards. Can anybody explain how I would go about doing that? I am suspecting there is some sort of APK manager I need to use over adb or not?
Hello.
I have a quick question about status bar image. So I was playing with the status bar Interface in Axis tweaks and I was am getting the notification "unable to load status bar background image." Do you guys know how I can reset the status bar background image or just get rid of the notification? It appears every time I open the phone or pull down the notification bar. Thanks!
V
I have troubleshooted your issue, and would like to say this is my first reply EVER on XDA ANYWHERE!
Ok so to resolve your axis Tom status bar image issue just go set the status bar color back to the whitest part on the color slider, no matter what color its on, and BAM your back to black....

I'm trying to figure out how to fix my keypad lockscreen so that the status bar uses the lockscreen wallpaper. T989 running Lightspeed (4.1.2)
The keypad lockscreen status bar shows the main wallpaper, not the lockscreen wallpaper (see first attached image, original). Does anyone know how to force the keypad lockscreen to show the lockscreen wallpaper (or at the very least be black)?
I tried xperiacle's How-To (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2384892), which used the correct status bar wallpaper, but the status bar chops off the top of the clock (see second image, 0900). It looks like the space between the keypad and where the numbers are entered is increased by the same height that is being chopped off of the clock (compare to first image).
First question - is it possible to edit the layout of the keypad lockscreen? If so, where can I find that file? I would like to be able to adjust the height between the keypad and the number entry line.
Second question - when I first power up my phone, the lockscreen status bar is black. But once I unlock and do anything on the phone, the black status bar on the lock screen goes away and I'm left with the invisible status bar showing the main wallpaper. What activity is starting that changes the lockscreen status bar? Any ideas on how to logcat this?
Any help is greatly appreciated, let me know if I can provide an ymore info.
Fixed! not like a pet.
I found my answer to the first question!
I found the way to add a margin above the clock after some detailed apk investigating.
Below is a rough outline of the steps...
Pull and decompile System/framework/Framework-res.apk
Find the file Keyguard_screen_password_portrait.xml in res/layout
Add:
android:layout_margintop="20.0dip"
to the end of the line that starts with <com.android.internal.widget.DigitalClock (line 4 for me).
Recompile, push to phone.
Success!
Hey guys.
Today I'm gonna show you how to change your status and navigation bar color.
You have two options
i) manually change the color.
ii) let the navi bar and status bar change color according to each app.
For doing this please follow following steps. If you have any issues comment your problems.
1) you should have a rooted phone. Doesn't matter if semi root or full root.
2) have xposed installer installed.
3) go on xposed installer> downloads and search for tinted status bar.
4) install the module and activate it. 5) reboot
6) open the module and scroll down till you search animate color settings. In this your status bar will change the color according to the app you open ex. Google chrome or hangout. (Picture 1)
7) go to default settings in the app and click link status bar and nav bar...(picture 2) ! Now open hangouts and see!
8) If you want to change the colour of Facebook. Then go back to the app home screen and go to per app tints. It will first scan your device to see the apps. Then find Facebook. Open the Facebook tile and you will see many options. Choose the first one which says all activities ooveride(picture 3)
In this you can change the navigation bar and status bar color manually. (Picture 4)
DONE!!!
