Currently running myn's warm two point two rls4. I love the screen transitions/animations and it's incredibly stable. There just seems to be a lack of customization available on it. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I may just be looking in the wrong place.

Maybe one of the Sense(less) roms??? with Cyanogen stuff baked into it?? Cyanogen has a billion options
I'm running Skyraider 3.5 and I love it, I wish I could get my buttons to work with MM but w.e I've never had an issue with Skyraider unless it was one I created lol.

Try uber. That's one of the new z sense roms - dramatically more features than old sense roms, heavily customizable too. Also much faster than old sense roms.

Skyraider is by far the best ROM I've found. I've got both Sense and Athena on my SD card and switch between them depending on my mood. My preference is definitely for Athena (Sense-less) and it's even better with LaunchPad Pro Plus. It's way faster than the stock ROM, LOTS of customization and excellent support.
I've been running myn's warm two point two rls5 for a while now and really like it. I'm looking to try CM7 soon, but MW has been VERY stable (no FC's), very smooth feeling and I've been able to customize by battery meter (speedometer type?). I use launcher pro to keep my desktop clean (just sense clock and smooth calendar).
If you're looking for tons of customizations check out Chingy's Incredibly Reengineered he has a ton of stuff you can change. Tons of different rosies, batteries, etc. Plus, its supposed to be super fast
(haven't tried it personally).

Just switched to it myself and I have to agree, its a great overall rom. Might switch to Chad's kernel though

Check out Incredibly Re-Engineered, it's a nice sense rom and it's fast.
If you ever decide to move away from sense roms my two favorites are MIUI and Cyanogen 7

so I love launcher pro....so sense or not doesn't really matter. Which ROM do you guys use if you use LP as a home screen?
I'm using uncommon sense right now, but not using half of the features since LP overrides them. Just looking for a quick ROM that doesn't have stuff i won't be using.
Thoughts?
I too am a LP fanatic. Try Lou's latest "senseless revolution". He has stripped the ROM of nearly all sense. Also try his kernal #4. This ROM is super smooth and has outstanding battery life.
I use CM 6.1. Works great.
Senseless Revolution with Cortland's Orange LP theme is nice.

Definitely the new senseless rEVOlution

I use Cyanogen 6.1 with Launcher Pro.
digging the senseless rom so far. not a fan of the kernel though. Havn't really used it all that much, but don't like that i can't overclock it. any suggestions??
I use the new IncRom version 1. Super fast, descent battery life. No bloatware. Obviously everyone likes different things. I've tried every Rom on sea for the inc and this continues to b my go to ROM. Happy hunting. Peace.

Alright guys I feel like I've flashed like ten different senseless roms by now with no dice... I'm looking for a Rom that has the gingerbread look and feel of OMFGB, salvage mod, or cm 7 but that still incorporates sense features. The sense features I really want are the contact list with Facebook sync and the camera apk..... with the sense camera a user can tap the screen where they want it to focus.... this is a big deal to me and all gingerbread roms so far can't do these things.... the closest thing I've found to my liking is skyraider Athena but unfortunately Athena is froyo...... I want gingerbread. Any help?

I agree, if you're still wanting sense but with a couple cm7 features then skyraider fits the bill.

The above statements are factual.... Skyraider 4.0 is the way to go
Alright....so Skyraider is a bit too sense-y for my liking....I didn't want full sense but rather sense apps....BUT I actually forgot posted this thread til just now and hadn't seen any replys..I actually ended up flashing Skyraider 4.0 before I even saw recommendations....let me just say this is the best Rom in the world. I didn't like sense because it was laggy but the way that sense is incorporated in this build is beautiful. I flashed chads 12/23 kernel on it and the combination is awesome...and it runs seamlessly while underclocked to 844! Plus my battery life is just beautiful compared to other roms....and no overheating problems! I have found my phones god send lol.thank you guys for the help and to anyone reading this thread that hasn't tried SR 4.0 I really recommend you give it a shot. Thanks guys

Not sure if you have tried it yet but you might want to check out Lou's #8 kernel for your SkyRaider. I had really good results using it, but you millage may vary.
Lous kernels confuse me....I don't understand all the multi touch hocus pocus
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Multitouch is just the ability for the phone to recognize 3-10 separate touch points simultaneously. Only use I know of is for gaming with emulators where you have your controls on screen.

Its older but a good senseless rom is skyraider athena. Get it on rom manager.
Edit: I'm dumb.

Stock android with sense camera n Widgets possible?
True 3g and 1xrtt display?
Great on battery
sent from plant Snarf
If you mean a aosp ROM with sense widgets no you can't do that IDK the whole reason for that.
And for the best ROM you'll just need to start flashing, all ROMs work different on each evo so you'll have to do a little trial and error its all opinion.

asop will have stock android camera right?
so whats a good sense rom ?
I've been on mikg for about 2 weeks now, and it's spectacular. Everything works flawlessly and is fast. You also get sense 2.1 + 3.0 which is also a cool transition.

The close would be use Miui

RLs2 is a great rom too.
it seems like what your looking for is a "senseless" ROM, which is like in between stock (AOSP) and sense. Check this thread out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1092221
Another vote here for MikG 2.45. Very nice Sense 2.1+3.0 rom.
Hi, i have an evo 4g and i been using a few kinds of roms but there is always a problem with all of them and i can't seem to find the right one, all i need to know is which rom has sense 3.0, 3g, 4g, text, internet, calls, fair internal memory and an elegant or normal theme, everything else i'm expecting to work too, if anyone knows which one i should use please let me know because i need one ASAP. thanks in advance for the suggestions
Shooter E3D with v6 supercharger and KAK
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
MikG is Sense 2.1+3.0, which makes it incredibly stable. It comes with a stock theme, but there are many themes available for it. Highly optimized and has everything you want.
If you want a pure 3.0 ROM, I suggest Shooter. It's my second choice because pure Sense 3.0 ROMs have small issues which irk me, mostly extremely small graphics things. It is a great ROM though, and the dev is very involved iin answering questions.
Pair either of them with Anthrax kernel and V6 and you will be all set

thank you guys but mikg gave me a problem with the internet explorer, whenever i'm using it and try to watch a video from a website like - tailedfox.com - the internet explorer app closes, i installed other apps like dolphin and still the same problem, i had that issue with infected and king as well. shooter i havent tried it yet but i will, thank you for the suggestions i will look on it right away
Swagged out and Tommy's classic are my two favorites. They are based more off sense 1.0, but because of that are very stable and quick!

Shooter E3D rom for sure. Lots of themes to choose from. Flash niftyconiption tweaks and you will be pleasantly surprised. Really fast and smooth.
i found out that swag stock 2.0.9.7 is the most stable so far, or at least for me it it is

I think the only reason to use Sense is for the Rosie.
I like the keyboard. Widgets are cool. Sense camera app takes better pictures too.

For the camera, I use Pro Paint Camera. It's a free app in the market and takes great pics

For some reason, with all the added bloat and all, the Sense 4 ROM namely UKB runs smoother than the AOSP ROMs in my opinion. The AOSP ROMs are smooth at the beginning, but they start getting sluggish soon. Sense 4 gets sluggish too, but I find it manageable. Plus it doesn't have a few bugs that annoy me on ICS ROMs.
In my opinion the Sense camera and the beautiful widgets are the only advantages.
AOSP is so much faster and more responsive...period. And many things about Sense are illogical and frustrating.
I guess you could say I like AOSP more because it makes more...sense
Sense is icky

Except for sense 4
Sense vs AOSP is all about personal preference. The only way you'll figure out which you prefer is to try a couple of each and see what makes you happy.
AOSP. End of Discussion for me.
With how well designed ics and jb are sense just looks gaudy

Sent from my HTC Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
Miui is aosp.
Sense - srz or gtfo
Aosp - aeros 05/30 cm9 kang ftw
Sense it just too frilly and too much eye candy for me. (Sense 3.5-). I love stock 4.x

HTC Sense is good for camera. I found No autofocus without HTC sense.
Anybody know good ROM with autofocus without HTC sense .
A while ago, I would've said that Sense is more responsive in the keyboard department. But with the latest Sense ROMs I've used (UKB, IC Tazz, ArcticIcsed, EclipticSense, etc.), I find that the Sense ROMs don't feel as responsive as AOSP ROMs when the keyboard is concerned. Plus, Sense focuses too much on eye candy and is too flashy for me.
So the only benefit Sense has that's better than AOSP is the camera since the features and quality excels compared to AOSP.
If only HTC removed a lot of the bloat save for the essential ones and made the rest downloadable at the Play Store or HTC Hub.
But still, I think the devs are truly awesome for making the awesome ROMs I've tried and used.

I think that sense 4 looks great. However it uses a lot of RAM, and can be slow on lower end devices.
But ICS/JB looks even better compaired to vanilla gingerbread. And its always very responsive (Even after it starts to slow down).
If the sense 3.6 ICS OTA can give me at least 250mb of RAM. Then ill go with that. (If the OTA can get 250mbs of RAM, I know that we could get 100% functional sense 4 that has at least 200mbs of RAM.)
Anything else ill use CM 10.
This is all depending on if we get ICS.

I actually hated the stock rom with my Dinc2 and that was the only reason I rooted my phone and just not a fan of the sense roms. Since rooting my phone I have tried CM 7.2, CM 9, and I am currently using Paranoid Android 1.98. I liked ICS but after using the Hybrid JB I am hooked. Granted there are a few bugs with the JB but as far as looks and smoothness I just can't move away from it. I have yet to try a Miui rom...I hear they are great too.

I think this speaks for itself when it comes to sense4.
Sent from my vivow using xda app-developers app
Yeah, using RAM usage as a metric of system performance seems a tad naive. I experienced sluggishness on both Sense and AOSP even with loads of free RAM. On the other side, I also observe that while Sense 4 may use more RAM to keep all their fancy graphics/textures and stuff in memory, I also experienced a much more snappy response on Rosie. I do feel that Rosie is a far better launcher than the ones bundled with AOSP ROMs... After loading a lot of widgets, those launchers start to stutter a bit too often, but the stuttering is infrequent with Rosie. However, I am high on Sense4 of late and I am possibly a bit biased. But, isn't that expected in a thread asking a question of personal preference? As far as the standard bloat is concerned, as noted above I too manage to run the Sense 4 ROM with an average of 200-250 MB of free RAM. I do remember AOSP taking about as much. My only criticism of Sense 4 is the poor Email app, but that is readily rectified using the stock Email app from ICS. My gripe with AOSP is the lack of an inbuilt timer (I use it often), the lack of a FM app (I rarely use it but as a matter of principle, I frown upon Google and the whole AOSP front for not being able to make a working FM app... the one in CM7 is just way too buggy that and there isn't one useful app on the market either)...
I'll be back with more gripes later. Peace.
