Anyone have the flashable zip? To remove it

What is SL?

Sprint Lovers

Ah...well never used it...but throwing it out there, there isn't an option in the display/interface settings to disable it?

Nope anyone know how to take it off?

if you can find a stock deodexed ROM you could replace the framework from that one and push it into your new one using ninjamorph, did you try pusing a blank widget.txt to see what that does? otherwise you would have to find one that has all of that removed, plus any theme etc your trying to run updates the framework.apk so your kinda stuck i think

There are instructions on how to customize these in the Power Control Widgets thread.

if your issue is that you dont want it to have 4g you can easily modify the widget.txt file and change it up there are a lot of options. If you are trying to remove it You may look int he EVIO rom thread Calk has a flashable zip to remove it from EVIO. it should work for any rom in theory since Evio isnt themed and neither is SL it shoudlnt effect much else. i would nandroid just in case though.

Speaker volume is way too low on its highest setting, would love
to be able to "hack" it.
Ed
And devs like to go at this maybe just the file to edit or an app or and adb command please calling out will pay for this
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App

uh yeah dude... you've already made that painfully clear
Yea well it seems your the only one that answers and no one helps so I will keep repeating that I will pay for such a mod personally made for the evo to mod volume
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
i guessing it would just be an edit like it was way back when on the MT3G. i dont see why this wouldnt work. maybe i can look into some old threads and experiment on my evo.
i did find kernel made my toast that does turn the volume up a little bit just not enough and if i knew more apps out the file structure and so on i would look into this n eddy mean 01 of the files in the system but i'm not that talented what i cn do is see if someone by chance know what file it is stored in for volume information i could figure it out from there

Honeycomb lockscreen!

hey guys i found this fooling around on the market thought you might like it:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nanoha.MyLockScreen_free&feature=search_result
works on any android device pretty much!
Ehhh, not really a fan of having ads on my lock screen. Won't buy it until I can see that the dev will support it.
Would love to have the honeycomb lock screen, but I'm willing to wait for it to be baked in once google lets the source go.

Good lookin out! I've been wanting this forever! Freakin sweet as an apk. The ads kinda suck but its super clean.

Works really well. Ads suck tho lol
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Sounds cool. For those that use Adfree, does it remove the ads? LOL
banging on fools from my HTC Troll
agreed with the ads sucking lol
havent tried ads free it may work
Also curious if anyone will notice any negative effect on battery life.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2
Adfree works with this, though you'll have to reboot after turning it on. Other than that, works great with CM7 nightly 95 with the stock lockscreen disabled. No noticable battery issues yet either.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA Premium App
yup with no ads on and disabled lockscreen and after a couple of days i can say it does no drain battery and its working great!
I really like the unlock screen I can say adfree does 100% work on removing the adds. I have found that you have to put it on the ignore list with task killers otherwise when u use the task killer it turns that lockscreen off. It was working great for a day or so but now both stock lock screen and new lock screen come up so I have to unlock it twice, does anyone know how to remedy this? I would like this intergraded into the rom or a zip file you could flash, could someone do that? I'm running cm nightly 99

Go into the tablet tweaks section of the cm settings menu and turn off the lockscreen. That'll fix your double lockscreen problem.
The added bonus with that fix is that you'll have full access to the notifications pulldown before you unlock your device. Really useful for checking messages and using the lockscreen toggles.

my words exactly i love using the pull down bar without having to unlock!!!
If you want to get rid of the ads, download adfree from the market and hey presto no more ads

I bought it to support the dev, more people that buy it the more inclined he is to keep supporting it.

Voltage Control and Pull Down Bar

Hi all,
I am running SFR 1.1.1 and I was wondering if anyone can let me know if you have had problems with Voltage Control resetting to default figures. I am having to redo my VC settings at least every other day. Is this a known issue?
Secondly, is there a way to change the buttons on the notification pulldown (mine has wifi, bluetooth, vibration. 4G, GPS). I don't have 4G in my area so would like to change that to 3G so I can toggle my data on/off.
Thanks in advance!

On Voltage Control, after you have your settings, are you pressing the menu softkey and selecting "set on boot"? That will make your settings stick but. If you are undervolting, make sure your setup is good and stable. As far as changing the 4G icon, that's something a themer would have to answer.

It probably has to do with editing an xml and redirecting the controls of the toggles. Purely guessing though.
Posted by Mr. Z's Epic 4G.
That's a start. I'll double check. Thank you sir!
Its probably a lot more work then you think... you would have to add images and make an xml call for them and then have the xml tell your phone to toggle 3g... I'm a themer (not supr experianced) and I don't know how completey... ill look into it more when I have a cmputor again. But no promises.

[Q] How to remove alarm notification icon in 4.53?

Does anyone know how to remove the alarm icon in the notifications on 4.53? I saw it for an older version, but it doesn't work for the newer release.

No, the idea is that the alarms are always on. So the constant notification is a waste of space. I obviously use the alarms and don't want to lose that functionality.
Well, then I guess you are trying to have your cake snd eat it too. Good luck with this one...
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
For anyone else looking to do this, I took a closer look at SteelH's thread and found the alarm instructions.. The difference is that the StatusBarPolicy.smali file has been moved to the SystemUI.apk instead of the jar file.
SystemUI.apk\smali\com\android\systemui\statusbar\policy\StatusBarPolicy.smali
