The first boot of a new rom always takes longer than average. How long have you waited so far?

I wasn't flashing a rom. I wasn't doing anything right but I figured it out. Thanks guys.

I could probably build a port for our phones. Just have to wait until I have the time.
No problem waiting, thanks!

[Q] Signal Issues

Hey, i'm using Warm-Z Nightly 4-13, on radio 11.19.
I see my signal tend to disappear then reappear every so often. During that time, i'm not able to do anything that involves the radio like data or sms or phone calls.
Is it because of the actual radio? Should I downgrade to 07.28 again?
That Sounds to me as if its radio related. Did you flash the radio when you put on the new nightly? Or have you been using that radio for a while?

I've been using this radio for about a month or two now.
Damn auto correct......Hmmm.....well in that case this is kind of odd. Maybe the 4/13 nightly build had a glitch with that radio. I'd try either restoring your old nightly or just flashing a different nightly. If you still seem to have problems then I would try a new radio. But if this radio just recently started glitching with your new nightly I would definitely say just change to a different nightly and see if it helps

It's been with all my ROMs lol. I just happened to be using Warm-Z right now. I'm on 4-14 right now and it's still doing it. I'm about to flash back to 07.28.. i just don't know if that's safe.
I'm actually on 07.28. As well as warm z twopointtwo 4/7 nightly with the same kernel. You'll be fine.....flash the new radio just make sure you know what you're doing before you start

Well, here goes. If anything. I got Best Buy on my side.
BTW, Warm-Z 4-14 has a new kernel. Ziggy's 04-13 kernel. In case you update.
Ooohhh that's sweet.....that's the kernel that you were telling me in the other thread had havs correct?

It's a different version of it. The current one that's in the nightly is a beta and well Ziggy took off all links if the kernel so incubus was lucky to have it before it got deleted. Upgrade to 4-14 its really fast.

Nope. I don't pay attention to that stuff. I usually try to stay away from too many kernel mods.
But the new kernel its running doesn't bump charge at all, so you should like it.
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
And forgive me one more time bump charge is just the technical term for the ten percent drop then change process the phone goes through correct?

Plus any news on that radio flash for ya? And when I go to flash this new nightly will I have to do a full wipe since it flashes kernel too? Cause I really don't like having to restore my apps and data with titanium

Sorry for the late reply, I have school and work.
But yeah, I updated to the leaked EVO 04.08 and the signal increased by -5 and i don't see the random disappearing anymore. When you flash the nightly, only wipe CACHE and DALVIK-CACHE. Do NOT wipe DATA unless you plan to start over.
Cool lemme know if you got more probs and ill do the same!

[Q] CM 7.0.3.1 4G Reboot

Just upgraded to CM 7.0.3.1 and was having the same problem with 7.0.2.1
If I have 4g/Wimax turned on for a while my phone freezes and hard reboots on it's own.
wiped all Dalvik and chach partitions, ran fix permissions
Tried a full wipe and fresh install of 7.3.0.1 and same issue. Just wanted to confirm if I was the only one seeing this issue.
Check WIMAX Keys and all is well
7.3.0.1?? wow im a noob and did not know they released that rom..u must be running android 4.3.4?

you know that is usually your phone getting to hot and shutting off as a failsafe, did you notice if it was hot? 4g does that to some phones specially with custom kernels, i would try a different kernel, hope it helps
Using the stock cm7 kernel and doesn't seem to be overheating. I'll try a new kernel, good idea

Phone turns off atleast twice a day:(

Hey all, I'm running Juggernaut v4.1.
Recently my phone has started turning off randomly. It seems to shut down mostly when charging but it did it the other day while it was unplugged.
Anyone having this problem?
I missed my alarm this morning because my damn phone turned off so I missed my last chance to see my uncle before they pulled the plug in him

That's weird you guys are experiencing issues like that... I used the same for over a month and never experienced anything like that.
have you flashed any themes, perhaps a kernel?
Give this one a shot
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22007149
I've been running it since it was released and it's running great. I haven't come across anything, really smooth and good battery life.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
There are many things that can cause this. First, is the phone overheating? (Overclocking can do that, and I think juggernaut uses bullet kernel with default settings, meaning it's overclocked to 1.6 by default.)
Also, I remember there is a bug in Juggernaut with the lockscreen. Are you guys using the circle lock screen? And if so, did you add a 3rd shortcut? That will cause hot reboots.
If you aren't using the circle lockscreen, I'd suggest first, trying another kernel, and make sure it doesn't overclock/undervolt by default. (Some phones can handle this better than others).
My phone was doing this when i got back from a couple week trip.i don't see how leaving it shut off for so long cause it.i just re flashed the ROM with the darkside kernel and have yet to see any issues....knock on wood.lol

Happened to me before, missing the alarm (not the uncle part, sorry about that)
Its the bullet kernel, flash any other kernel and it should do the trick.
The ones I recommend would be Darksides kernel or Eugenes
Thanks for all the replys.
I will definitely try flashing a different kernel.
I haven't been using circle lock screen so sounds like that may help.
Will keep you updates.

Hey everyone I am in need with some help. Everyone says my phones audio is terrible. I've tried it on several peoples phone and have come to the conclusion that my phone is the problem.

If you can't resolve the issue by superwipe, kernel cleansing, cache wipe and a new ROM or back to Stock than I'd say you need to open a warranty claim and get the phone replaced. (or make sure whatever case you have for it isn't covering up the mic, dust, dirt, etc)
Or... go back to stock and reroot over again. If theres an issue after that then you got a warranty issue
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...3angBA&usg=AFQjCNGJPsChjj8qf32PIyesEm7P9ObbYQ
thats what i used yesterday and cleaned up the whole phone to factory.. make sure you follow directions on it
Will try suggestions later, thanks guys. I havent tried kernal cleanser. Hmm. And I've taken off my case, making no difference.
