I'm trying to post some bootanimation I made but for the life of me can't figure out how peeps are posting animated images. I can do it in my signature no problem but when trying to do it in the body it doesn't work. Do I need special permissions or something?
I'm using Mediafire to host the image (animated GIF). Can anyone walk me through this?
Thanks.
try uploading it to photobucket or something. Then click the add image icon when posting the post and put the "Direct link" there. (URL of the .gif image) That should display the animated image.

Thanks. Tried Photobucket and worked. Not sure why Mediafire wouldn't do it with the direct link but seems kinda buggy every now and then.

Hi guys. I hope somebody can help.
I've been searching the threads and even the files on my Xperia but I cannot find the default wallpaper/background from this rom. It's the black one with the dark grey/blue pattern in the bottom-right corner (see attached image).
I want it so I can use it as the background for the Start menu etc while using the Classic Blue theme.
I've spent numerous days searching for it and I'm either going blind or it just cannot be found.
If somebody has this can you please post it for me?
Your help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Sonny
here you are...The file contain transparent pack (3 files) of the top and the bottom curve, also the transparent slider a well (cab file). For wallpaper, just run the file M3dbackground.exe then select the picture which you would like to use as wallpaper then select compress with cfc...Finally, use resco explorer copy those 4 new manila file to Windows folder by overwrite option. That's all!

ok before you go blind this is the tmobile theme. but im not exactly sure what your trying to do, please excuse my newbness. you want to have this theme as wall paper when you press start menu? i have the file but it is not use as a start menu wall paper but use only as backround in tf3d for every single tab. i repeat this is not a start menu wallpaper (im not exactly sure what im even sayin here) but this is only use as backround for all tabs in tf3d. the attach is 4 manila file. just paste it in windows directory and your all good. let me know if this is what your trying to do. if its not search for tmobile theme. there are plenty in itjes v10 thread, but i think it's only manila files. you can convert it with m9editor or manila editor to png.
Hmmm
Thanks for your help, st3v3nhai!
I'm also actually looking for the image file of the wallpaper used on this rom. Does anybody have it in BMP/JPEG format?
Thanks
Sonny
Just need the image file now.
Hi Himuraken.
Thanks for your response. You understood quite well what I'm after.
I think all I need is the image file from this theme, but the files in the theme are not image files.
I will try finding m9editor to convert them to PNG.
Thanks
Sonny

That being an ini file is just a settings file! jackpot! Ok keep digging and tell use what you find. ill be doing the same.
so since u know where and what it is can u make a thread and put up a tutorial on how to do it!? that would be helpful for the non techie guys!!
Good morning! I'm trying to put the sound "PowerOn.wav" at / SystemFS / PowerOnOff / Sound / with stun, but when I delete the original sound, it comes back. Can anyone tell me how to delete and replace the new sound.
hello guys, I've written a guide to change the sound boot
is here
you must change
PowerOnSound=/SystemFS/PowerOnOff/Sound/PowerOn.wav
PowerOffSound=/SystemFS/PowerOnOff/Sound/PowerOff.wav
to
PowerOnSound=/Mount/Mmc/PowerOnOff/Sound/PowerOn.wav
PowerOffSound=/Mount/Mmc/PowerOnOff/Sound/PowerOff.wav
in file: /Registry/PowerOnOff.ini
so u mean to say we need to keep a file named poweron.wav and poweroff.wav in our cards and wave should load from it?
it works , i can't post the link , but i wrote a guide on ipmart italia ,
i send you the link in pm
you could just post the guide here..
it's in italian
http://www.ipmart-forum.it/showthread.php?361204-cambiare-suoni-power-On-Off-Wave-s8500
ok so this was the boot sound... anything else can be modified using any similar method??
i don't know , we must search with stune ....
boot animation perhaps?????

But the site of Villainrom is down at the moment....and without that site I'm not able to download the modules.
I was asking if anyone of you has got the "Notification Background Modules".
I need only that one....
Sometimes when attaching a text file to a post, it uploads successfully but the file is never actually attached.
Attached to this post you can find a ZIP archive (attaching it obviously works). This archive contains a text file which is impossible for me to attach.
If for some reason it is not allowed to upload this text file, it should at least show an error message...
test
edit: it seems to upload fine, but doesn't show when I post.

Extracted the txt-file from the above zip file and tried to upload the log-camera.txt but failed. During the upload process the "moving upload bar" runs from left to right but at the end the file isn't uploaded.
This effect was already reported in the Better-Battery-Stats (BBS) thread; also that the issue obviously wasn't realted to the filename but probably to some content of the txt-file. In the BBS thread some logs could be uploaded as txt and some couldn't.

Yes, it certainly appears to be related to something within the text that is blocking it. Other text files are uploading and indeed parts of this txt file upload ok.
So it's likely getting scteened, though if you can just zip it then the screening isn't very effective.
I'll see if I can find out more, but that may take quite some time. Meanwhile zipping works I suppose, though frustrating obviously.
