I am running cm 6.1.1 and since I rooted (just a week ago) I don't get ANY calls they all go straight to voicemail. I can make calls and send/recieve texts w/ no problem. Any idea why this could be happening or what I could do to fix it?
Try doing a nandroid recovery to your older rom or try reflashing

Also check your call forwarding settings, they might be screwed up.

Rooted using amon ra latest, cm7 4g, stock kernal. I try to make calls my bars disappear. I sends text i get the notice sent faluire. Is my phone trashed? Ive gone back to stock and didnt help.

Have you tried to call sprint? Maybe you have a network outage in your area.
Ya think? This only happens in aosp roms not sense roms its really weird.

Hi I'm haveing a anoying issue with my mt3g slide. The phone resets its self when placing a call. It started doing this only when I put a simple mobile sim (the phone is unlocked though not needed to use simple mobile sim) once in a while the calls would go threw incoming calls works good no issues. the phone will work fine with tmo sim. To try to fix the reboot
And in installed cyno 6.1.1. The rom the phone wouldn't reboot no more when placing a call but the call would just not go threw at times.
So in short the phone is rooted and has cyno 6.1.1 on it and using gvoice and google callback apps to make my calls so if anyone can help me with this issue plz let me know what I can do thanx..

I have read the countless posts on the 3g issues, but when I try to access *#*#4636#*#* and change to wcdma only or preferred it won't stay the option just instantly changes back to CDMA and won't stick.
I was on paranoid android and flashed the cm10.1 12/08 nightly hoping the fix would work but it hasn't really. I read of a flashable fix and was hoping to get that but the link is down. Not really sure what to do at this point and I don't want to go back to touch wiz

Not sure wat 3g issues u speak of... 3g should be the least of ur concerns on cm10. Changing the settings in *#*#4636#*#* is temporary. Use the network selection mode under system settings in cm10. Ur problem is most likely not from 3g but from the hand off from 3g to (ehrpd) to lte and any combination of the above. It is a known issue even if ur not in a full lte covered area yet. As a user the problem manifests itself as me not being able to get 3g back unless I reboot so that's why I called it a 3g issue, sorry for not using the correct jargon. But thanks for the link.
The zip in that link worked temporarily but now I'm back to the same issues but worse because I completely lose all radios a few times a minute, except WIFI when lte is off in settings. When lte/cdma is selected in settings I have the same issues as before.
I think at this point I'm just going back to a touch wiz Rom it's not worth the missed calls and text messages to be on an awesome Rom. When my phone came back on from the fix i had like five text messages pop up from last night. And now I'm always just going to winner what I missed. I heard this bug mainly affects non touch wiz roms

Last night got froggy and flashed cm10.1 now let me start by I have metro pcs service on this phone that I flashed cm10.1 on its had tw fl16 on it for a bit and while on tw it wouldnt roam so after flashing back to tw from cm10.1 because of issues with mic the phone roams now on same tw rom so I hit voicemail while roaming and it says welcome to Verizon wireless any ideas?

I am flashed to page plus. We can not use native voice mail. You will need to dial your number to access voicemail. The rom changes will break parts of your flash like vocemail and picture message.

After restoring a Nandroid of cm10.1 my phone is now stuck on 4G. Data and texts work fine but I can't make or receive calls. If I toggle LTE off in mobile network settings it automatically puts it back on. Same thing if I toggle only use 2G networks.
I imagine this has something to do with me going into the radio dialer settings (the settings page you get on touchwiz by dialing *#2263#) but am unsure.
Is there a way to access that screen or one that has similar function on cm10.1 so I can test? Or do I need to flash a TW ROM and change it back? And to what, automatic?

*#*#4636#*#* gets you into the testing menu on CM10.1 where you can then go to phone info and change the preferred network type.
Ya I tried apns, sim resets, really anything I could think of that's connected to the radios. *#*#4636#*#* had the same results as the toggles in settings. It would automatically just switch back to lte.
In the end I just reflashed a touchwiz ROM, went into *#2263#, the LTE band had an * beside it. Hit automatic and Nandroided back to cm. Everything working fine now.
I guess those settings are on a hardware level nandroids can't get at. Live and learn.
