Hi all, i rescently flashed the psychosis rom and no longer recieve notifications for anything other than text messages... no email, no market updates, no facebook.... any advice?

Hi all,
My phone has stopped notifying me when new SMS messages are received. I am runnning android revolution HD (latest version). The problem has been present for a few months and over a number of different AR HD roms and I have been using Go SMS as a fix in the meantime.
I have all the correct options selected in the messages settings menu and I have tried restarting the phone but nothing seems to help.
Do any of you have a fix for this?

Sometimes when I go into my SMS inbox it says "empty". And even when I received a text, it will still say "empty" in my inbox. I have to restart my phone and then all messages are back.
I use stock messaging app and GO SMS.

mind to share is it every time happened?? have u uninstall "go sms" ... and try??
Actually I first experienced it when I was using stock sms app.
Then I still experienced it after I installed GO SMS.
It happens once in a while but not frequent. I'm just curious if there's a way to stop it from happening.

I have been suffering from notification delays that i get on my push messages ever since i moved from jb 4.3 to kk 4.4.2
already tried notification fixer app, but no good
I sometimes get messages as late as ~40 minutes
searched around for awhile now but with no clear solution

Not clear what type of notifications you are referring to..
Are you talking about SMS texts? Application alerts? Email notifications?
Are you on stock? Rooted? Using a nonstock ROM
Hi all, ever since I upgraded to marshmallow, my Whatsapp icon does not display unread message count. My phone is rooted though. But I remember issue is already there before rooting.
Anyone else encountering the same thing? Or is it only my phone? Thanks in advance.
Update: Fixed by latest Whatsapp update. Closed.
Hello everyone, this is my first xiaomi phone so I'm still not too familiar with miui.
Apparently i have not been receiving SMS consistently.
To be clear, this is not a push notification issue in MIUI where notifications appear late.
Flashed epic rom and using textra as my main messaging app. Messages also doesn't appear in the stock sms app.
