Is there an app or could a developer develope an app that allows you while your recording to pause and then resume recording? I ask this because my wife was recording our daughters basketball game and she would stop it and have to start a new video everytime they called a time out or the like. I was just wondering if it can be done or if it already is out.

Read down the first post and you'll see the video recording section. Basicly you have to kill all tasks before filming.

Anyone worked out how to get youtube to play in the background yet?
Would be nice for it to still play whilst multitasking

I miss this too Was great when I could do it in my SGS1. Load a youtube vid and hit the power button to lock the screen so its off OR even start my browser and surf while playing youtube music Pretty bad decision for Google/Samsung to break this in ICS.

I dont think its an app thing. I believe ICS is codded for it. Kinda like how when you are listening to music and take pictures the music pauses for a moment to execute the shutter sound even if you have disabled it

I like the stock video editor from Galaxy S II and I was wondering is there any way to bring that to Note II. I try bringing it back from titanium backup but it got fc. I would appreciate if someone could help me with that.
I've been looking around all day for a good video editor. The one from the Note 1 supposedly FC's, and it's nowhere to be found on here either.
Have you had any luck finding an alternative?
No. So I'm just using my s2 for video editing this days

Meh. I work on music videos on the go on my phone, just for the project's sake. I used to do it fine on my iPhone, I really wish there was an Android equivalent considering the GN2 is an epic phone.
Music videos like adding music to existing clips?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
I sort of film music videos on the go, often slowing clips down, transitioning them, adding effects or adjusting color occasionally, adding in identity text in the beginning, or mixing a secondary audio track with a clip's audio.
That sounds cool. I'd like to learn how to do some of that since it really interest me.. let me know if you find a somewhat decent app for it.

Ah definitely, unfortunately Android is suffering a whole lot with the video editing department, almost makes me wish i had a (gasp) damn ipod touch or something.
Ok guys I've been searching for this answer for a long time to no avail. Hopefully someone can help.
I use miracast a lot to watch movies on my big screen. The LG video app has a function called dual play which allows the movie I'm watching to play on my tv while i can still do other things on my phone like surf xda without interrupting the movie playing. Does anyone know of any other video app that has this functionality i can use on aosp roms????
Guess not lol
