Hy, i have a Blue Angel with a broken display. My question is this: Do Alpine and Blue angel have the same display? I manged to find a display for the Alpine only.
Are they compatible ? both 240 x 320 pixels, 3.5 inches, 53 x 71 mm

No, they are not!!! Alpine and Himalaya have the same. search for: dismantle Blue Angel and spare parts list. It's all here! I bought displays and digitizer on ebay from HongKong for less than here, even without postage and within a 5 days time. No problem to get one.

I'm currently using a HA RK3188 (1024 x 600, 7" display). My dad has my old JY RK3066 (800x480, 6.2" display). He can't get on with it so I will be taking it back. I don't like the display in my RK3188, it's too dim in comparison to that of the RK3066, you can't see it properly in sunlight.
My question is - is it possible to swap over the displays? Can I fit the lower resolution display from the RK3066 to my RK3188?
One point is that the RK3066 has a CD/DVD slot whereas my RK3188 has not, but I can live with that.
Also, I realise I might need to flash a different ROM because from memory Booroondook's ROMs are display resolution specific.

Even if that reseller is gone, there may be others selling the same units, or different brands or clones sharing the same parts. Go through all settings or purchase records, find your model name and identifier, and google for " replacement display". Do you come up with any results?
Depending on when you bought it, you might find a new generic unit cheaper without all the cables, and use the wiring from your current unit along with its fascia.

Hi. Is it possible to root a Philips OLED 804 with Android (version TPM 191E_R.001.002.173.010)? I would like to edit the Ambilight what is addressed with the Hues via the entertainment API.
I previously had Enigmalight with an Enigma 2 receiver and I am really shocked that the original Ambilight in connection with the Hue lamps is worse.

I don't think it's possible due to mediatek sh*t, but since i personally have a oled 803 i hope it is
I've recently bought the 804 as well, im really satisfied but the screensaver aggression really bothers me! I can't have spotify playing in the background for even a few minutes.
Would love to find out if we can root the device and change some settings.

My Dasaita Vendor sent me a PX6 Max10 card to replace my PX5 Max6 card for free. Only the system card, not the screen that itś the original of my PX6 Max6. We change it without problems but when we power on the Dasaita, the screen started to show image like following videos, captured from my Dasaita:
FAULTY SCREEN VIDEO 1
FAULTY SCREEN VIDEO 2
FAULTY SCREEN VIDEO 3
Finally I give up. I try all, update firmware, update MCD with EXT (I proof all the values, 1 to 20), the display change resolution but the image is still faulty. I proof with 3 flex cables, the two of the cards and other that I bought, more long. The same faulty with the first two, with the long cable the images transforms into 3 or 4 lines, nothing more. With two cards the same problem.
Can somebody helps me with any idea???

It seems like the PX 6 module is in poor contact with the MB, or the GPU is faulty

The problem is the same with both modules. The px6 Max10 and the px6 Max6. It's imposible that both modules have the same gpu problem. And when I connect both with HDMI with an external PC display all work PERFECT.
You need to be careful in your selection of PX6 max10 cards. There was a resolution change in the middle of the PX6 max10 production and the newer ones run at 720p instead other the older resolution of the px5 and first generation px6
That may be your issue.

No. The resolution is not the problem. I fixed it with an EXT update and nothing. I probe many resolutions and nothing, same problems with max 6 and Max 10 card.
