Hey guys, I need some assistance. Anyone had any luck unlocking from Telus to Rogers??
I'm fully updated on Oxygen and coming from Telus branding. I want to unlock my Desire for Rogers (Canada)
I'm getting an invalid SIM error. Should I go back to stock Froyo? I'm not sure why Oxygen wouldn't mesh with it... My other thought would be that my Rogers SIM is giving me problems.
If anyone could post their successful process (including where you got your unlock code) I'd be EXTREMELY appreciative!!

Im new to this. i have a tmobile dash and i currently use tmobile as my carrier. so would i have to unlock the sim to update the rom? from my understanding as long as the CID is unlock i should be fine right?

I bought my HTC One X from 3 mobile in the UK and as expected it was locked to that network. I decided to get it unlocked as I was leaving the country. I got my code and it didn't work. I tried getting it again from my friend who does unlocking and still no luck. My phone had its bootloader unlocked using HTC dev method and it was rooted with Leedroid rom. I tried installing the stock rom on the phone and put the code back in and still no luck? What could be the possible issue? Is there any other way of sim unlocking the phone? I had to leave the country on very short notice so couldn't even get the chance to speak to 3 mobile about this issue.

I'm currently on the stock telus rom, unrooted
and am having troubles with my network (AT&T go phone)
and would like to re-lock my device to enter in an unlocked code
because my phone will not accept USSD codes ATM on
the AT&T sim card that I am using...

So, I just bought a new G3 from my carrier Vodafone Romania and wanted to unlock it so I can use it with other gsm carriers when I'm abroad.
Before buying a sim unlock code I wanted to make sure that it can be unlocked. So I popped in an Orange SIM and it worked without asking me for a code. Then I tried the other method by typing in the dialer 2945#*855# and got "the phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked".
How can this be? It's unlocked but permanently locked? Or this is the message you get after successfully unlocking?
Any insight will be appreciated.

Hi all. I have purchased a second hand 10 locked to Telstra and have tried everything humanly possible to get it to accept a Vodafone sim. It is currently running the 1.95.841.3 firmware (Telstra stock) and is driving me bat **** crazy.
I have even given in and paid Telstra $25 to unlock it. The only drama is when inserting the Vodafone sim upon rebooting it doesn't offer up the option to enter the sim unlock code.
I have sporadic connectivity with no data connection, and trouble registering on the Vodafone network.
I have unlocked the bootloader, it's s-off and I have successfully changed it to wwe and unlocked us variants, tried the latest viper and eventually resolved to flashing back to stock rom.
Every thing I have tried still has the same issue. Mobile data is disconnected because service is unavailable.
Do I have to flash a different radio, firmware or just give in and switch to Telstra?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Im with vodafone, but i do have a vodafone branded 10 im not running the vodafone firmware tho. Im on WWE and everything is fine. Can you try another sim?
I've tried two separate Vodafone Sims and both have exactly the same results
