Hi guys, i'm working on a remote control car that i'll be controling from my desire. The car is controled using bluetooth and I was thinking of adding a wireless bluetooth camera on it and have the video on the desire screen.
Can I connect with the two at the same time, one for the controls and one for the video feed?

No one knows???

Bluetooth data transfer rate is not efficient for live video feed IMO.. Desire bluetooth protocol restrictions also another issue..
10m bluetooth range is not enough for remote control even if you handle with protocol troubles which necessary for communication between car and device via bt ...

Hello all, this is my first post after a long time viewing this great forum.
I was wondering, could the HTC Desire be turned into a wireless audio receiver with A2DP? My stereo bluetooth headset died recently, and I got used to watching movies on the PC while using them as headphones. So I was wondering if it was possible to turn the phone into a receiver in the same manner.
If it's not possible, is it a hardware limitation?
Thanks.
+1 for this thread,
-Even i was looking for same app ,so that i can connect my desire to my laptop using bluetooth and use it as a wireless head phone.
-I lost my head phone too, I have Desire's hands free , i was wondering if i could use it as a head set..for my pc through bluetooth..!!

I've tried searching for any input on this subject, but I couldn't find any real info about it.
We know the Desire can transmit stereo over A2DP, and can receive mono when you are talking with a BT device. But does this indicate the ability to receive stereo over A2DP? I hope there is no hardware limitation for that.
If it is possible, I guess an application would act like an A2DP device, so that the BT software on the PC would recognize it as such. I'm really hoping to see such a feature, or at least to know if it's possible.
Can you play music to your car without cabling?

You can get a fm transmitter that you plug in the head phone socket which would enable you to listen to it kind of wirelessly

Does anyone know if I can utilize 2 BT connections at the same time? I want use a Parrot device to connect to my phone and a BT headset as well if I'm making any sense.

I don't think so. I think it is a limitation of BT

My understanding is that only 1 bluetooth radio connection can be made and be IN USE at any time.
So if you are actively connected to 1 device its using the radio.
Some BT headsets can be paired to multiple phones at the same time, but once you are in a call then the other connection is lost. Its more of a stand by connection while both are NOT in use.
If you were to stream music, it would be in use. So only 1 connection can be maintained.
However, when BT devices do different things they can properly hand off activity if the device doesn't have routing bugs. On my Epic I have stereo streaming to my car stereo, plus my headset. Two different profiles, and if I make a call or one comes in, the music is interrupted and it USUALLY goes to my headset. But, like I mentioned, bugs...
Anyone know how many bluetooth connection the GNex can handle at once? For example, I'd like to play GTA3 using my PS3 controller via Sixaxis and listen to the audio using a BT headset.
Just give it a go.. If it works or not report back to us

Nope, doesn't work. Turning on Sixaxis kills other BT connections.
i've been always under the impression that bluetooth only allows one connection at a time. only support i have was connecting my nexus one in my dads car listening to music, and then trying to answer a call with the bluetooth headset. apparently the headset had disconnected when i connected to the car.
Hello.
I have a HP Pavilion 15 - p077tx laptop.
I have paired my HTC One V with it. However I'm not able to connect is using A2DP profile. Neither can I see that in the bluetooth services for my device. How do I stream audio over bluetooth?
