I'm wondering if anyone can help me change the way my keyboard sounds when i type. Change, not turn off sound or haptic feedback. I'm fully rooted if that helps and i preferably would like to have my keyboard sound like Windows phone 7's keyboard. Thanks.
Find the sounds for WinPhone7 keyboard and ill help.

The in-call volume is really really low, is there anyway to solve this?
I was just about to make this topic. Seconded. It's so hard to hear people when in call. There has to be some sort of sound boost.
Nice and simple, nope there is no way to increase the incall volume atm. What might work is that super old trick where you call your voicemail in WM and put it in speaker and then boot into android and that maybe would still work on these builds, don't blame me if I'm wrong because its been months since I've even tried this so good luck if it works for ya

Not yet really. There are rumors of an audio boost of some kind for incall coming soon. U can try the volume controller app from the marketplace and see if that does anything.

I think this has something to do with the missing sound adjustment .csv's in /system/etc. I doubled checked on my G1 running 2.1 and it definitely has them.
Hello
One of my friends has just bought a HTC Wildfire S.
It is not rooted or anything else. It is just as he bought it. But he now has the problem, that the voice comes out of the speaker everytime someone calls him. In the call he can switch to the earspeaker, but it is frustrating, that the voice as standard comes out of the speaker.
It was not like that when he bought it, but it is now because he pressed something he doesn't know.
I know how to use android, but I just can't find any settings where I can change it. My question is how I can set it back to sound out of earspeaker as standard
Can you help me?

Hi,
have you tried restoring phone to factory settings? It fixes many problems. I had a problem with Wi-Fi,after restoring it works fine.

Thanks, got it, now I'm not sure I like it so silent, I don't care for the sounds of a old typewriter keyboard either.
Now how can I change the keyboard sound file
Sound should be in the same area. I keep mine silent, but with haptic feedback

The sound is in the same area, I like the sound that my wife's ipod makes, but the sound on our keyboard is like an old typewriter, I need to figure out how to change that file or just use the silent mode that is kind of nice also.

There are a few keypress sounds there that you can change to the sound you want.

When I enable Keypad sounds, I dont get DTMF tones when dialing a number. I only get the little water droplet sound. Has anybody else noticed this?

I have the sounds turned off and DTMF doesn't work on my S3 for me either. Tested with multiple services.
I have a GT-I9300, stock ROM, running Android 4.0.4.

It's like that for everyone- the droplet sounds are a dialing "feature" .
Though you may not hear it like a tone, it is still registering on the other end as a tone.
The option to uncheck the sound just prevents you from hearing it.
The only way to change/remove the droplet sound is to root and replace the file. There's more info in the forums here about this.
Hi all,
I just realized that everytime I type there is touch sound on the keyboard. I went to Settings > Sound & notification > Other sounds and switch off the Dialpad tones and Touch sounds. But I still can hear the sound. Can anyone show me where the setup for keyboard sounds? FYI, I use standard keyboard. Please help me on this.
Thanks!
go to Language and input in the settings, there will be all the keyboards installed on your phone, find the one you use, look at the side of it, you will find the settings button, tap it and you will find the option to disable sound.
