I'm playing around in the WP7 emulator(Getting a feel for WP7,might be getting a HD2 soon) and I've noticed that all HTTPS data seems to be blocked or just isin't working right. Does anyone know how to fix this? http://i.imgur.com/fHjHM.png <- Example... HTTP://www.google.com loads fine,HTTPS doesn't.

Does anyone know how to update the default background to something else, after trying out a bunch of IM clients including Beejive, Octro, etc etc. I found that Webmessenger is less memory intensive than all the others hence you can keep on all day and not worry about, so its kind of cool to have this option, the GUI is not the best but it works just fine and its free but I'd like to update the background image to something cooler if at all possible. I would appreciate any input on this. TIA
pretty please
damn, you mean to tell me no one uses this IM client, its great, its got a low memory usage as well, ok, its a bit passe but hey it works like a charm, I guess no one knows
Humm, perhaps you should try the developers web site.. send them an e-mail perhaps? I would have to assume, I mean its a stretch and all, but they would probably have the information you seek
I found this thread

But I was wondering if anything else had appeared?
I understand that without a compass the applications are limited. But games and fun little bits of software?
First off my apologies as this isn't exactly phone related, but bare with me on this.
I'm at work using Ultrasurf software to bypass works restrictions/firewalls (can't access certain sites like Rapidshare etc) so I can download a few roms for my HD, but the download speed is pretty pathetic, i.e. 10-20kb/s
Does anyone else use this software for downloading roms etc whilst at work who could help me on this or know of other software which does the same?
Hello, hopefully someone can help me figure this out.
I would like to read comic books at the Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited site on my Desire running stock Froyo. The comics are accessed in a Flash viewer. An example free sample is marvel dot com /digitalcomics/view.htm?iid=5600
I have tried the stock browser, Dolphin HD, and Skyfire, all with pretty much the same result.
I can get comics to open and load in a flash viewer, and while I don't have great control over the interface, I can tap (or flick the scroll button) to turn pages. But after at most a page or two the viewer and the browser crash. I've tried similar sites such as Comixology (which now has an Android app, so less of an issue) and got the same result.
I'm not sure if this is down to RAM, cache, processor, or ??? - Can anyone help explain to me where the shortcoming is, and whether there are any suggested workarounds to get access to material like this?
Back when Froyo was announced and rolled out I was really excited that I would be able to access this site in particular, so have been sadly disappointed that Flash content other than video doesn't seem to work much on Android. Hopefully someone can help me get access on my Desire, and here's hoping stuff like this works on Gingerbread tablets in the future....
Thanks, John
It's a resource issue I would say. Desire isn't powerful enough to fully run it and so crashes. I tried it and it crashed for me. No idea about work arounds though other than use a PC.
In light of what has been going on with the whole NSA scandal along with the quickly increasing technology of hacking wifi spots easily, is there an Android app or browser that you recommend to force HTTPS/SSL on any site that supports it? Also, is there anything like Ghostery or DoNotTrack extensions for Android in app form?
