Where is the file to edit the android lockscreen?
I renamed the htclockscreen.apk so it doesn't use that anymore. but how would I edit the default android lockscreen.
oh. and it still uses the htc lockscreen to answer calls, not the default android lockscreen. how can I fix this ?

Hi!
Just installed LeeDrOiD and removed the HtcLockscreen.apk to get the standard lockscreen. But after I pushed the DeskClock.apk from CM6, the Lockscreen-sliders differs in color...anyone know of a fix?
I am using virtuous but would would love to get my stock calendar and lockscreen back. How do I do this? If I have a backup of my stock ROM can I extract the .apk's and push them to my phone?
if you push the old calender apk it should work fine.
as for the old lockscreen you can get it by renaming:
/system/app/com.htc.lockscreen.apk
to com.htc.lockscreen.apk.OFF
note: this will cause a glitch with the HTC Clock so be sure to push the stock clock as well.
Theres also a patched HTC Clock thats fixed if you'd like to continue using it. I've attached it here.
Dear All,
I wish to ask is there any solution to remove the original slide unlock ? Im using litenin ROM as well...Please advise.
Thanks.
you could install widgetlocker from the market, its very good, it lets you change the unlock sliders or add widgets etc to your lockscreen.
You can install qqlancher pro and along with it comes a MIUI type lockscreen. Just enable it from settings. Then you can use whichever launcher u want. the lockscreen will continue to work.
how to change the font on andoird 4.0 rom is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1403113
if i change the roboto.ttf i can't reboot my cellphone.
You could try putting other fonts in the font location then use an app like font changer (if it works)

does rom toolbox work for you ? i have not tried it on a ics rom but it allows you to change fonts and boot animations etc
I am trying to change the default lock screen wallpaper on my Rom. I swapped out the new wallpaper, for the old one located in: system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/hdpi and, xhdpi, but the lockscreen remains stock!?
How can I change this so the stock wallpaper for the lockscreen, is my own custom wallpaper right from the get go (after setup) ???
What ROM are you on? This would help since I know SOME ROM developers changed a setting so it doesn't pull it from the framework-res.a pk but rather a wallpaper folder instead. Pull apart the whole ROM zip file and see if there is a WALLPAPER folder. If I remember correctly in the ROM I am thinking about it will be found at /system/wallpaper and not /system/framework-res folders.
Here you can test out this VR Theme format to test. It will ONLY change the lockscreen wallpaper and the homescreen wallpaper IF you have the same file structure. If you don't it won't change anything.
If it does change them to a Dark Blue picture then you can unzip the file I am linking, and switch out WHATEVER pic/s you want. Just make sure to use roughly the same size pic and rename them to match exactly. Hope this helps. Let me know if it doesn't change anything. Link http://db.tt/MUw2Ot7m
Also like I said before it WILL depend on WHAT ROM your using and WHAT firmware.

It's in framework-res apk under default_wallpaper and default_lockscreen_wallpaper. I believe it also is in system UI if I am not mistaken. I know I had to change it in two different APK's to get to default to a certain wallpaper when installed.
