Just today I got S-Off and rooted my G2, then went from Rom Manager and flashed CM 7 build 20 and now im stuck in the CM 7 boot up screen. Keeps going and going and going...
What do I do? Please help!
Did you make a backup? Did you flash clockwork recovery 3.0 before cm7? If you have clockwork recovery (2.5.1.3) installed try flashing a new rom like CM6...
Got back to my backup, going to go for the CM6, thanks!

Hey guys.
I tried to flash my HTC Desire with ROM Manager.
I DL'ed the Cyanogen mod 6.0.2 and did a full recovery backup of the system in clockwork mod before continuing with the flash.
I left the phone alone for 20+ minutes, but it kept booting to the blue cyanogen mod bootlogo/flash. It still does that.
What have I done wrong, and can I fix it?
It boots nicely into the HBOOT menu, but I am unable to select the recovery button, it simply doesn't respond.
Is there any way to wipe it and flash the stock 2.2 FroYo ROM & 5.x.x Radio back to it?
Hello! While flashing RA recovery on my rooted stock 2.1 Desire, something went wrong (got stuck on Waiting for root... message). Phone powered off, didn't power on again, so took battery out. Phone booted as it usually does, but when I boot to recovery, I just get HTC screen, and nothing more. Looks like I've erased recovery.
YES, I've tried reflash with RA mod.
YES, I've tried to reflash with Clockwork mod.
YES, I've used unrEVOted last version (as of 18/11) to flash my phone.
How do I return standard recovery or flash RA? I need to install new ROM, and I can't do it without recovery.

its the original way to flash a ROM before clockwork mod and that where created.
I recently ran an update for the CyanogenMod. It was the most recently nightly update (12/6) and when it finished the phone restarted into the ClockworkMod Recovery mode. I tried to restart the phone, but it booted to the bootloader. Now no matter what I do I cannot get the phone back into the OS, just the Clockwork Mod Recovery mode or the bootloader. I have tried running a nandroid, but it fails.
EDIT: I figured out that the only part of the nandroid that is not working is the boot section. I can run the restore of every other part just fine, but the boot is the only one that fails each time.
try flashing a different rom but don't forget to wipe tho..it might help

Tried to flash to the new Warm TwoPointTwo rom. Didn't work. Still only loads to bootloader/Clockwork.
Finally rooted my s3, when I first tried to flash cm 10 I was getting an install aborted message. A post on this forum suggested tryong twrp instead of clockwork so I downloaded goo manager. I downloaded cm 10 and gapps through twrp and started by wiping. When I went to flash couldnt find the files for cm 10 so went to restore so I could start over...discovered my clockwork backup wouldnt work with twrp(rookie mistake lol) so reflashed clockwork so I could restore and start over. Redownloaded cm 10 and gapps with twrp checking the filepath for the save this time. Problem is I cant get twrp to be my boot recovery so that I can save a nandroid with it and try flashing the rom.ive tried setting the boot recovery to twrp with clockwork itself, tried rebooting through goo, tried setting twrp to default with rom toolbox, tried rebooting with twrp manager and finally uninstalled clockwork ....no matter what my boot recovery is clockwork .how can I get twrp to load as boot recovery so I can save a backup with twrp and try flashing cm 10? Flashed roms on old devices before and never had this much trouble.

Did u have the latest cwm recovery (6.0.3.6) installed when u originally tried to flash? I have never had an issue with cwm, and until I do, I'm not switching to twrp. Which version of cm 10 specifically were u trying to flash?

After doing some reading I think the abort is caused by having the older ics bootlaoder.ive never had to update one before so im a bit hesitant. ..do you know if I update and try to switch back to my original restore or to a different rom (other than cm 10) Will I have to change the bootloader back again or will I run into a greater chance of problems in the future?
I just tried to preform an OTA update to the latest CM11 nightly and so it installed it through Teamwin recovery and now it is just stuck at the Teamwin splash screen. I cannot boot into recovery but I can access the yellow downloading screen. Any Idea on what to do? Am I going to have to use Odin to revert the phone back to stock rom?
Flash back to Stock

I am pretty sure that happens if your Teamwin recovery is not new enough (I don't recall the required version). This happened to me as well.
My solution was to ODIN back to stock and install CWM (v5.0.2.7), CM11 will update it to v6.0.4.7. If I recall correctly I had to install the CM11 update twice (once for the CWM update and once to flash ROM)
Hope that helps
Chris
From what I know, the latest official TWRP (2.6.0.0) CAN NOT flash 4.4.x ROMs. Use CWM as included in CM nightlies, or try @unjust's 2.6.3.0 test build.
