Do you mean a navigation of some sort or just a GPS?

You can download Garmin Mobile XT from the Garmin website. (you need I think the garmin support files and basemap)
Then with their mapsource software, you can upload your maps from windows to the phone.
GPS
um..actually i am looking for free download..if you have it..

TP2 comes with A-GPS, I tried both TomTom and Garmin, unfortunately both have map drawing lag on my, so I use Igo8.
Also I am using 16GB MircoSD. and listen to music too.
My Igo doesn't work

Dear radiowc,
I cannot get Igo to run on my TP2. (See this thread). Can you tell me what version of Igo you are using and post your sys.txt? This might help me.
I am using IGO8 8.3.2.83157
Attached is my sys.txt... kind of long too :>

Have you tried the latest Garmin Mobile XT update from the Garmin website?
Works really well on mine landscape and portrait with no map lag.

Has anyone tried the Navagon GPS yet.
I have a stand alone Navagon and I love it. It has lane assist and many other features that Garamon and TomTom are just now introducing on their units. Navagon had it 2 years ago. I've looked at it on their website and it seems to have all the features as the standalone unit.
I was wondering if anyone had tried it to see if there were any lag or other problems. If not then I'll probably get it so when I fly somewhere I won't have to bring my standalone.
They have demo versions for other countries but not the USA.

Hey ppl I just upgraded my defy the new CM7.1 official, now I'm looking for a GPS software to use here in brazil so, good brazil maps are important to me.
can you guys please give me your thoughts about what GPS should I use?
Also, I saw some ppl saying that CM7 does not support A-GPS is that true?
Thx in advance and best regards.
of course it supports A-GPS... as for maps, im using Google Maps and its working fine where i live (remote village of North-East India), i dont know about brazil...
In my opinion, there's not a real good gps app for android yet.
In my case, in Argentina, I use Sygic, Navitel (you can adapt Garmin maps to it) or Ndrive. Each of one has it pros and cons... try them!
Cheers,
Lucas.

Wrong! Igo works on Android and IMHO is the best navigational SW ever! For Motorola, it's called motonav You just need to upload content and license in a folder called motonav on your SD card, then get the motonav.apk and install. Just did it a few hours ago. Works like a charm.
