Hi, I am just wondering whether it is possible to download HTC Sense again as I accidentally cleared the data, meaning that it is no longer stored on the phone.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you.

what do you mean? clearing the data will not remove sense from the phone, only if you are rooted and delete it from system will it be removed, if this is what you've done flashing the appropriate RUU from here is the only way to restore it
yeah the above poster is right, all clearing the data will do is restore sence settings to default... if your using a custom rom with more than one home screen, you can download home switcher for free from the market, you can use the app to switch homes and set a default.
All I did was clear data in application settings and it said that it would permanently delete all data, including files, settings etc... I then went to look for HTC Sense and it was completely gone. :-S

do you have root? if not you cant delete the actual application, but if you have just run the appropriate RUU from here and you should be back to stock, just watch out this will delete all your data
It sounds like you are talking about the Sense account that you use with HTCSense.com, and not the actual Sense UI. Go to "Menu" -> "Settings" -> "Accounts & sync" > "Add account" -> "hTC HTC Sense", and then follow the instructions to add it back.
Oh okay, thank you for your help.

Can someone tell me how go put all my apps somewhere whenever I flash a new rom? I always have to download everything again-_- and also my gmail contacts aren't saved from where they were saved on previous roms..any help? Thanks

Titanium Backup does this. You can backup/restore apps & settings. Also, you can extract the .apk files and copy them to your sd card.

You Can Also Try AppMonster!

I'll second the Titanium Backup recommendation, makes it easy to get your apps back where they were after your flash a new ROM or wipe. It's a must have app for any Android phone IMO and is good enough to be a sole reason for rooting (I rooted my mom's OG Droid just so she could use TB)
Is there a auto install for titanium? Instead if running batch and clicking install for every app?

The paid version doesn't require you to click install for every app (it's a true batch operation).
Do i need the premium key??

make sure that your data and contacts are syncing with google, you can do that by menu>settings>accounts>autosync
Sorry if there any thread about this but i was unable to find any (using phone app). I have widget (rosie utility) that came with rom and it doesn't work but its not listed in applications and i can't remove it. Any idea?

Never mind, I figure out. For those with same issues go to applications - sense - delete data. This fill remove "ghost" files and restore sense settings to defaults.

I have a problem with the market .
When i go to my installed apps, on the bottom of that list i can still see apps that I had on my phone, but they where uninstalled, so they shouldn't be there anymore.
These apps says free, so they are not installed anymore, but they still are in my list.
But I want them out of my list of installed apps, so can someone please help?

I've seen this in the past but it didn't stay there for long. Reboot?
They will disappear after some time.
Clear your market cache, that should help.
All of it didn't help, do you have the same problems?

clear market data/cache and force stop via manage applications...this may help!
alternately if you have backup options selected, uncheck it and reboot.
Do you have Titanium Backup? There is a "Market Doctor" tool within that, it's worth a shot.
I have a prob. too with the market.
If i write a comment for an app the comment didnt it. And i cant rate the app i dont know what the prob. is :'(
Like everyone above already said:
Go to application management and kill the market, then clear cache and data.
If that doesn't help there's nothing else you can really do except more annoying options like full wipe.
Usually I restore my apps with the TB when ever I flash a new Rom.
The problem is only a few of them are listed as installed in Market's "my apps " menu.
How can I re-link them? I am using free version of TB. Is there any better and free apps for apps backup and restore?

Try clearing market data and cache and try again. Sometimes Market may not detect your applications.

Tb has an option to do it
TouchPal-d from my Desire running Supernova Extreme Rom - 450 apps and counting. .
Can Googe accounts remember my apps?
So next time when I intall a new rom,the apps come back automatic.
Several times I wiped the market app data through the Manage Applications but no effect. Only a few applications shows in My Apps menu.

If you use the backup on the phone it back's up everything apps call sms home screen and so on
Good question op.
So does it backup all apps data or only those that have been coded to take advantage of Google's app data backup options for instance.
I may have to do a nandroid and reset to see what happens.

For anyone who is interested.
I just installed viper and restored my phone from the HTC Backup .
It restored settings, messages , contacts , home screens, folders, and also downloaded apps . However my app data were all gone . I had to set up every app from scratch again .
