Usually I restore my apps with the TB when ever I flash a new Rom.
The problem is only a few of them are listed as installed in Market's "my apps " menu.
How can I re-link them? I am using free version of TB. Is there any better and free apps for apps backup and restore?

Try clearing market data and cache and try again. Sometimes Market may not detect your applications.

Tb has an option to do it
TouchPal-d from my Desire running Supernova Extreme Rom - 450 apps and counting. .
Can Googe accounts remember my apps?
So next time when I intall a new rom,the apps come back automatic.
Several times I wiped the market app data through the Manage Applications but no effect. Only a few applications shows in My Apps menu.

Why don't you try pressing menu then press refresh app list. All recent apps should be on top

Is there a way to save installed apps locally (SDcard)? I bought Mybackup but to restore it I've to log in in the market and the phone start automatically to download all the apps saved. I want to save Mybackup app... but how????
Suggesting you Titanium backup, its the most widely spread app.
with pro, you can even sync backups with dropbox. You can backup any app you want, even batch backup is available.

Or you can use Appmonster. It backups installed apps on sd-card as installable apk-files. Only the apps are backedup, no data!

Click to collapse
This sounds very good.
I have a problem with the market .
When i go to my installed apps, on the bottom of that list i can still see apps that I had on my phone, but they where uninstalled, so they shouldn't be there anymore.
These apps says free, so they are not installed anymore, but they still are in my list.
But I want them out of my list of installed apps, so can someone please help?

I've seen this in the past but it didn't stay there for long. Reboot?
They will disappear after some time.
Clear your market cache, that should help.
All of it didn't help, do you have the same problems?

clear market data/cache and force stop via manage applications...this may help!
alternately if you have backup options selected, uncheck it and reboot.
Do you have Titanium Backup? There is a "Market Doctor" tool within that, it's worth a shot.
I have a prob. too with the market.
If i write a comment for an app the comment didnt it. And i cant rate the app i dont know what the prob. is :'(
Like everyone above already said:
Go to application management and kill the market, then clear cache and data.
If that doesn't help there's nothing else you can really do except more annoying options like full wipe.
my gf is having this problem on her phone, and i'm only finding solutions here for rooted phones and she can't root it because of the warranty. do you have some other solutions for her problem?
She's just going to have to move as many apps as possible to the SD.
Go Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>On SD Card
Then tick everything available.

she moved everything she could and she doesn't have that much apps, and still having same problem..
is there any other solution?
I don't think so, other than being selective over what she has installed.
My girlfriend was in the same boat until I rooted her phone and flashed a new ROM with a2sd support.

Photographs and music, Facebook friends synced to contacts, and web pages not cleared eat memory, clear caches as well.

Also, Gmail and Contacts chew up memory like 20mb each easily.
Another thing to remember is that you have to restart the phone for most of the savings to show up after changes. It does help to restart it about once per day to keep the caches clean, etc.
This worked for me. No S-OFF needed.

When I go into the Android Market and select "My Apps" it shows that I have 30 apps installed, and I know for a fact that I have more than that installed. Titanium Backup reports 67 user apps.
I have ran the Market Doctor from Titanium Backup, however it doesn't seem to have done anything?
Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?
Cheers.

This happened to me before and I reinstalled market using an .apk file. Look on the forums here for the apk. That worked perfect for me.
Install titanium backup. It has market recovery options

Or just try going into settings -> apps -> all -> then clear data from the market app.
But just one question...we're all your apps legally downloaded from the official Android Market?
