CM7 Nightlies and contacts no groups just favorites and all no way to see individual groups i asked in their thread but it got lost in conversation.
What does this have to do with development?

Not a CM7 issue, but AOSP one more on it HERE. I agree this is a non- developer issue.

I'm looking for those two specifications from a Dialer:
Search into Facebook contact
Search number in the middle
By search number in the middle, I mean if I start dialing 555 it would show me number 0785556767 by example.
Dialer one has those two specifications but only with HTC Sense ROM, with non Sense ROM, it doesn't look into the Facebook contact
So I'm looking for:
a way to make Dialer One working with non Sense ROM for Facebook search into contact
another Dialer that would look for Facebook contact and search number in the middle with a non Sense ROM
a non Sense ROM that would allow any of the two above
Thanks,
Nickwe.
You may try with aTAKEphONE. The last version is 1.25
"- Search company (!) and notes (!) fields.
- Search (filter) call log list by text.
- Jump to a specific date in the call log.
- Schedule calls as entries in your Calendar.
- Search for contact in a super fast & sophisticated way -
using a T9-like mechanism (e.g. to search for "John" simply
tap the "JKL", "MNO", "GHI", "MNO" buttons)"

DON'T POST YOUR QUESTIONS IN THE DEVELOPMENT SECTION!
Do you not think the mod of this forum (Who also is a mod for 5 other devices) has better things to do than constantly moving all your '[Q]' threads?
Thank you,

(Please don't create a new thread in General/Q&A, this *should* get moved soon)
Moved to correct forum. Why was this posted in Development?

Good question. Most general queries end up in development these days :/
Is it not also bad forum etiquette to clog up threads with unrelated posts?
And yes, I'm aware of the irony.
hey admins
i have nice suggest to the forum design
maybe u guys can add bookmark option to forum
and able us to bookmark few topics and see all the new posts at once
without having to look each one by one
thx u guys
edit:
another suggestion
that is to add top topics that recently active in sub-fourm
aka hd2 android /wp7 and else so we could access them fast
I second that.
vBulletin is considered one of the best forum softwares, it should support user bookmarks.
Someone needs to point this thread do the admins, otherwise there is very little chance that an admin will read this in such a huge forum!

Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
added suggestion at first post
You can do bookmarks already
Thread subscriptions under "thread tools", and then go to "UserCP".
You can subscribe to forums and threads.
Unless I am missing out something, thread subscription will enable mail notifications. So it is not currently possible to add a thread to the list without receiving mail notifications. This is OK in most cases, but can sometimes be annoying.

No, you can disable the email notification either thread by thread (go into the List Subscriptions and select "No email notification" for the threads you want) or for all threads (go into Edit Options and select "No email notification" in Default Thread Subscription Mode).

Good! You are getting a "thanks".
It would be a great feature to be able to subscribe to a topic but only get an email if the opening post is changed. This happens a lot when ROMS are updated.
With the current system you can only subscribe to a topic and receive email for every post made.
If the feature I suggest would exist it would save a lot of unwanted email. Usually the topic title is changed with any ROM update so by reading the email received from XDA you can already see if your favorite ROM is updated or not.
I think a lot of people would use such a feature if you would publish the existence.
I second this request. This would be very usefull!
My suggestion is this;
Use the subscribe to thread function at the top of the page under "Thread Tools" to unsubscribe yourself from the ROM thread in question.
Then re-subscribe and choose the daily or weekly notification option.
The thread title is displayed in the email you receive so you can keep track of it and you will not receive an email every time someone asks a question that's already been answered 568,000 times.....
Not perfect but its better than nothing.....
I think it would be a nice feature for my unread subscriptions to appear at the top of the list. As you know, it currently displays threads in order of the last post. I subscribe to a lot of threads and post simultaneously, so there are times when I miss an unread thread, or happen to overlook one because I have an entire page of unread topics.
I think it'd really be helpful to force subscribed threads with new posts (unread) at the top of the subscription list.
Your thoughts?

That's what it does in your UserCP. Any threads you subscribe to show up there once they get a new post. The thread with the latest unread post gets pushed to the top of the list.

Thanks....that completely slipped my mind. Guess I'll start using that.
I have the latest CM10.1 4.2.2 on my HOX. It doesn't have group messaging. My other cm10.1 phones had group messaging and I loved it.
Does anyone know of any CM10.1 based ROMs with AOSP group messaging?
And, sorry, I'm not looking for a third party or aftermarket messaging app. I want and love the stock AOSP messaging app because it's the best looking and best performing.
Regards!
You opened one here, please stay there. That is in fact the correct subforum

Please don't create double threads.
* its forbidden
* its difficult to follow you around on different threads.
