i m looking for the a black back panel for my phone ie i mean the back cover mine came in white and i wanted the black one i have tried goggling it with no luck
if any one has any info id be obliged

hey just try walking into service center and order for a new panel..I am sure they will supply it but original panel will be a bit costly i think

Note : i did get it at the service center it cost around 5$(INR 200) the problem was the top part were we charge the phone
& the volume key are in white its ok it looks freakish but its good im happy any way i still have the original white one
this just for the info for others who are also looking for the same

i was at school playing sport and got knocked over and my screen cracked X(
although the display is destroyed, the touchscreen part still works.
is there a place online i can buy a replacement screen from? ive tried ebay already, but no luck.
also, i am considering getting a wallaby just for the screen as they seem to be cheep, but if i gut it and use the screen, will it be compatible ith the BA??

No. The wallaby uses a totally different screen.

hey guy I own a HTC Fuze and is loaded with NATF v4.5S Rom and the color are amazing, but my diamond VGA color are too bright and doesn't look too real.
Any suggestion on what is causing that?
I thought it was the original rom I loaded with shak 4.0 ROM, but no luck.
i know that the diamond got two different types of displays
when white appears yellowish then you got the bad one

Well it seen to be my case, but the question is one bought it jusst 3 days ago in best buy just i return it and chance it for another one? and see if is not yellowish before walk away from the store with it.
or thats not a big deal and i can still use it with no problem? or is going to cause me problem ?

When the Diamond was launched - it was in mass demand with a few different companies make parts for it. HTC recognise some screens are not up to standard and will replace the faulty part if you contact them or alternative bring it back to the place of sale for a replacement.

Hi sorry to bother I'm looking for a replacement of the whole display screen digitizer + LCD.
Does anybody can recommend a good one.
I've been searching on amazon but mayority of people complain about that the digitizer stop working on the repalcement after a while.
Any help appreciated.
There really isn't any "good one". If you want one that works, get an OEM one made by HTC.

Of course the higher you go the quality will probably be better but for $15 with free shipping I dont think you can go wrong if the first place, if it does not last long just order a new one!
If you have TEP you are better off getting it replaced by sprint for a new phone.

I found a used OEM front panel (LCD & digitizer) in good shape on ebay shipped for $50. The guys at my sprint store are cool and installed it for me. That's half what asurion gets and you keep your software setup

There are two different LCD connectors, a wipe one and a "normal" one. The ONLY way to see what one your phone has is to open it up.
I am in Uk, my One X has developed a crack across the screen, still works, but it looks ugly, anyone know a contact number of someone who can fix this for me!?

Ouch, that sucks man! Honestly, it's probably not worth the cost of repair if that's as bad as it is. My Infuse is my daily phone and it's screen is shattered far worse than that. One crack, even going across the screen isn't too bad when replacement could be very pricey, and you may just crack it again.
I saw another thread on this and it sounds like the LCD is glued to the glass, which makes it very difficult to separate without breaking the LCD as well. Your best bet may be to send it in for replacement. Doesn't look like there's a whole lot of info on fixing the screens on these yet.
This is exactly why I just signed up with insurance today on mine. I always end up with cracked screens some how, and I'm usually very careful. Even with the insurance though, there's a $75 deductible, and I don't know if it'd be worth it still for just one crack.
UK repair is £145.
no other places in the UK other than HTC did it a couple of weeks back because they couldn't source the parts. told them i coule provide them with it but they weren't willing to do it
mine cracked after two weeks, worked perfectly, but there were hundred of cracks across the screen. no way was i willing to live with it for 2 years

somebody gave a ling in another thread tha there is a shop in uk tha can fix it for 45 pounts you have to look for it i dont remeber were

the phone is assembled in such a way that the entire assembly occurs on the screen, so you have to strip the phone back to literally every single component

7 working days from receipt. i got mine back after two weeks, including a bank holiday. it was also just after the phone came out so maybe there was a delay getting the parts then?
they send out fedex to collect the phone, could even come the day after you call

How ironic, Gorrila Glass survives but LCD dies -.-
phone is still functioning, just turned it off to photograph as you can see the crack clearer!
you can't even feel a split if you run your fingers over it, so i am lucky in one respect its not shattered!
