Due to many obligations at school and work I have abandoned the development. I hope the current work still is of use to people and for this purpose the sources are added. Thank you all for the support and interest.
Hola boys and girls!
After half an year of inactivity due to school - I finished my computing science bachelor grade - I have found some time to update the application.
The app now is based on the Gingerbread Gallery3D sources (Gallery3D-1b7f000 (android-sdk-adt_r12 / Android SDK ADT release 12) to be exact)
For installation instructions check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=752007
As Darkyy recently contacted me, you might expect this app to become part of DarkyROM in the future
Current Functionality added
Bottom right overlay button: en/disable motion (disabled by default)
// Currently shown as inverted camera <- Could anyone produce proper buttons? My artistic skills are.... :-(
Gallery:
● Scroll by tilting
● Select center image
● Prevent scrolling out of the grid range
● REMOVED: Reset to first by shaking
Image view:
● Next/Prev by tilting L/R
● Zoom in/out by tilting U/D
● REMOVED: Reset zoom by shaking
Todo:
● In grid mode: Open image by shaking
● In picture mode: return to album by shaking
● In picture mode: initialize zooming at current tilt angle, and zoom from there by holding an overlay button (next to the zoomin/zoomout overlay buttons)
The new version called Gallery_Motion.apk and only Gingerbread compatible!
If there is need for a Froyo mod of the application you can download the old one (Gallery.apk) for now. If I receive enough requests for a Froyo version, I will backport it.

=============== OLD POST ===============
Hi there,
For a school project I have modified the Gallery3D application to enable scrolling, zooming etc by using the accelerometer.
I have made a short demonstration which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xYkblRYPcY
The mod is based on CyanogenMod-android_packages_apps_Gallery3D-a63279d.
High-res fix is included.
It would be very cool to use scrolling for the selection of pictures within the album grid, so one could open/close the picture by shaking... However, the sourcecode was not so well documented and we couldn't find some functions that would help us implementing this... I must note, the source contains 50+ classes, we have only looked into a few.
For installation instruction check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=752007
Current Functionality added
VolDown: en/disable motion (disabled by default)
Gallery:
● Scroll by tilting
● Reset to first by shaking
Image view:
● Next/Prev by tilting L/R
● Zoom in/out by tilting U/D
● Reset zoom by shaking
With some help I hope to add the following in the future:
● In grid mode: Select center image
● In grid mode: Open image by shaking
● In grid mode: Prevent scrolling out of the grid range
● In picture mode: return to album by shaking
● In picture mode: initialize zooming at current tilt angle, and zoom from there by holding an overlay button (next to the zoomin/zoomout overlay buttons)
If anyone could help me a hand with the image selection, e.g. by giving me a direction where to find functions for this, I'd be very greatfull!
I'm wondering what you think about it, your questions/remarks are very welcome

Wonderful
Very cool,
suggestions: sensitivity is a little bit to much.
Scrolling Limits would be nice, because if scrolled too much, pictures are hard to find

I did not rename it since the code I downloaded generates Gallery.apk and the apk on my phone was called Gallery.apk. I am not sure why though.
Anyway, if you remove the one you find (either Gallery.apk or Gallery3D.apk), renaming should not be necessary; android looks at the package contents, not at the package name.

Works great. Thanks, very nice app! But it scrolls beyond the albums. I don't think we need that. Should have a limit to stop scrolling when at the last pic/album.

Shutdown fix temp solution:
Now shutdown works only it prompts you for confirmation.. i'll try to find

Great
I have some comments:
1.The performance little slow but acceptable.
2.The confirm icons can be more bigger

Perfect work! But to make the icon would be super.
Yeah i think too the confirmation icons are indeed small.. i'll change them for the v0.2

Sorry,,,
but i cannot find the App!!
is it attached??
Hmm, i get an error that the file is not signed when pressing the power button. But when i start it from the start menu it works fine.
Good work. Great app. Thanks for sharing.
My suggestion, please add an option to make the icons (larger would be nice) line up vertically.
I think it would be better that way for single hand operation. Otherwise to reach the left most button is a bit of a stretch (I usually hit the power button with my index finger, while my hand wrap around behind the HD, leaving my thumb free to wiggle about but that's just me).

This app is based on Smaberg's port of the original HTC Actionscreen.
It's activated by holding the power button (top of the phone) for 3 seconds.
The menu then shows 12 buttons which enable you to launch the shown applications.
The reason I've created this version is that the original actionscreen didn't contain the functions I need/use and I didn't like the skin.
I've improved both and decided it wouldn't hurt to share. Enjoy!
* The previous releases have been downloaded over 450 times! *
Changelog:
v1.2
- Skin fixes
v1.1
- Fixed shutdown shortcut.
Features:
- Activated by holding the power button for 3 seconds.
- 12 buttons.
- Custom skin.
Installation:
- Download the .cab file.
- Copy the .cab file to your phone memory or storage card.
- Install the .cab file to your phone memory.
- Restart your phone.
Notes:
- Calculator button is set to HTC Calculator.
- No landscape support at this time.
Known Issues:
- None.
Acknowledgements:
Smaberg - The first port of HTC Actionscreen to X1.
Gtrab - Sony Ericsson lookalike font.

Niice! I have one issue. The calculator shortcut doesnt work for me :-(
What ROM have you got installed? Like the description sais, it points towards HTC Calculator (which I have not included, as it's seperately downloadable).
To fix it, either have it point to another calculator (registry), or install HTCCalculator (recommended).
great all is working right cheers mate
I love you actionscreen Forest. Very nice together with your Nature´s Grace theme for TF3D2.
Shadowsong looks gorgeous! thx!

Yep. Edit:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\APP_4]
"Name"=""
"Width"=dword:000000a0

"xPos"=dword:000000a0
"yPos"=dword:000000ea
"Param"=""
"IconPressPath"="\\Windows\\AnX1\\ActionScreen\\AS_Press05.brn"

Everything you need to see can be found in the registry location he told me in page one. You can even change the icon if you want to
Is there also a possibility to change a icon function to choose a silent mode?

Neither of these are simple. This actionscreen works by executing a file. You'll have to make some sort of executable or shortcut which does what you need it to do, and then change the registry entries for the actionscreen.
Thanks for your answer, but I don't know exactly how I can make a executable or shortcut

Hi girls,
I've wrote my own volume control because there were no one which had the features I needed.
You can control it with the volume keys of your device or with your finger/stylus (but it has to be opened with the volume keys first).
Supports (W)(Q)VGA (means VGA, WVGA, QVGA and WQVGA). I didn't test it on Square resolutions.
It's written in C# for .NET 3.5 so you need to have the .NET Framework 3.5 installed on your device.
The "0" in major section of the version means it is beta and could have some bugs and/or is not feature complete.
Source Code is available in VolumeKeysCS.zip.
I'm not a professional so don't be scared
Known issues / TODO:
- Speaker icon does not change
- does not work with in call volume
- volume icon in taskbar opens default windows volume control
Changelog:
0.4.1 / 2010-01-15
- fixed display bug in (W)QVGA
0.4 / 2010-01-14

- fixed bug: volume not saved when slide outside the bar
- hopefully does not block keys
- added update check
- sound profiles (normal, mute, vibrate) are set
- added option to don't show anything on key press
- added AppToDate support
- added configurable position (left, right, top, bottom)
0.3 / 2009-12-11
- (W)QVGA support added (tested with emulator)
- settings program is in english now
0.2 / 2009-12-10
- fixed problem with FM Radio and Windows Media Player
- settings are configurable
- VGA support added
- some bugs fixed
0.1 / 2009-12-08

Yep, WVGA was the original resolution. Because of that I did not mention it in the changelog.
its certainly an addon in my roms as it supports wm6.5.3.
1st is dat on installation, i hav to go to volume key settings and then activate it from there. cant is be activated immediately after installation.
2nd when i changed the vol mode from on to vibrate to silent, i noticed that the tackbar icon didnt change.. is dat a bug?
Will definitely try if it works with wp 6.5.3 as reported above
Before I try it can somebody tell how it behaves in HTC Album and Windows Media Player(Portrait and landscape)?

#2 definitly seems to be a bug, the icon doesnt change but the phone is really silent/on vibrate
Another thing, which isnt really a bug but i noticed that if you just slide your finger up and it goes off the volume bar, it doesnt save the volume as max, but where you started 'sliding' it. It does the same thing with sliding down.
Not sure if this is a very good explanation of the problem, hope you know what i mean.
Seriously though, this is great, nice minimalistic design, non-intrusive and blends in nicely with manila. Ill definitly be using this from now on!
Oh and maybe make it work for landscape? Not sure if you need it, just toying with ideas here.. Great work man
This is a great little program. Good job. Having more then 5 volume levels is great. The only things I see that need worked on are in-call volume adjustment (does not seem to do anything on my Diamond/6.5.3 SYS) and the aforementioned taskbar icon. I really like the UI you've used. You'd think microsoft could come up with something so simple .
edit - also, on VGA, the vibrate button does not seem to register presses.
great app for all the 6.5.3 lover
i can live with the taskbar icon not changing.
but there are a few other things i noticed that may need some attention!
- volumekeys not seem to work with In Call volumes.
- also when you have a incoming call, the application seem to create some problem receiving\ending call while using endkey\sendkey\onscreen slider. I tested the application on HTC phone canvas from rhodium 1.90 build (cant remember the version of the package )
other than these we have an excellent application
keep up the great work!
Thanks for your reply. I've added your finds to the issues/todo list.
I'll have a look tomorrow.

Hi, just wanted to say thank you for this great little app.
It's been really useful. The only thing I would like to see added is
support for the standard htc youtube app. Since it doesn't seem to work well together. Volume goes from nothing to loud and back with no
small volume steps in between. Although these small steps do show in your app it doesn't effect the volume like it should.
Looking forward to future updates.

You just need to edit your app.dat to get it to show up in the start menu. When I made the cab into an EXT, the .lnk shortcuts were going to /windows/start menu when they should be going to /windows/start menu/programs. That is probably why everything worked, but you were unable to see the shortcuts in the start menu. I have attached an EXT package that should work, but I have not tested it.

WP Screenshot
Latest PC version: 0.2 | Latest phone version: 0.3
** About:
This is another Windows Phone Mango screenshot tool that works a bit differently from other implementation(s). It sends screenshots over the network to a PC application, so that you can instantly show your phone's screen on your monitor or projector.
** Usage:
Start "WP Screenshot.exe" on your computer and make sure that port 50560 is open (or simply allow the application to access the network when Windows Firewall pops up).
Start "WP Screenshot" on your Windows Phone device, enter the IP address of your computer (use local IP in case of running both parts on the same local network) and tap "Connect and start".
Now, when you press any of the selected buttons, a screenshot should be sent to your PC (there you can do some neat things with it, try CTRL+H).
When you want to stop the background worker, simply open the application again and tap "Stop".
** Current issues/limitations:
There can be some annoying lag when there is bad WiFi coverage.
It won't capture screens from games (XNA) and videos.
** Requirements:
developer unlocked Windows Phone (to deploy the application)
.NET Framework 4 (you need this if the PC application won't start)
** New in version 0.3:
ability to use volume buttons for taking screenshots (phone)
** New in version 0.2:
toast notification after 5 minutes of inactivity (phone)
autosave mode - screenshots get automatically saved into a desired folder (PC)
ability to stretch screenshot to fit to current window size (PC)
The screen capturing part is based on "The DllImport project (by fiinix)".
I am looking forward to all the feedback and I'll do my best to fix and improve this application in the future.
Suggestion : Auto Save to folder so if I want to take multiple screenshoot quickly I dont have to come to my desktop every time.
Worked over my Samsung Focus. And Many many thanks for this.
Another suggestion will be to turn off the background process if its idle for too long. Good if people forget to turn it off
---------- Post added at 02:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:28 PM ----------
After playing for couple of hours now. The shortcut for the server app doesn't work all the time. I had to try sometimes like 2-3 times to get it working.
Nice app
Thankx a lot man !!

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll include both in the next version.
About the shortcut... do you mean the hotkeys (CTRL+S,...) or something else? There can be some issues with detecting key combinations as you must hold down CTRL and then press AND release the other key while still holding CTRL down. I'll do my best to make this work as it should.
Yes the Hot keys aren't working properly. Also for the windows software,
1. The Window can be reduced in size.
2. You can set it sit in taskbar once auto save is included.

Does it disconnect after pressing the camera button (does "Waiting for client...." appear?) or is there simply no picture on the PC?
Version 0.2 is here - autosave, inactivity notification.
My Suggestion.
1. Auto Save Location needs to configured everytime, not a good idea. We need settings page.
2. Notification should also disable the connection.
3. The Windows Size of the server software needs to be reduced. Takes much of screen
Rest works as stated. Thanks !!
Cool app ! I really like it.
A suggestion:
after taking a screenhot there should be a way to stop the capture process, maybe an automatic notification (stop capturing ? YES/NO).

Hey, this looks very good and would work for me (I've tried it), but since there's no camera button on my HD2 I can't use it. Is there any way to configure another button to do the same thing? (I'm afraid not...)

Hey, this looks very good and would work for me (I've tried it), but since there's no camera button on my HD2 I can't use it. Is there any way to configure another button to do the same thing? (I'm afraid not...)

Thanks I'll play with the volume keys next week. Maybe I can get the screenshot before music controls show up and make this at least partly usable on HD2.
Thanks a lot man! Do you think it would be possible to control it on the PC, that is, capture a screenshot using some keyboard shortcut or similar?
Very good app.....i like so much.....Thanks a lot!

1. You can press CTRL+R to rotate current screenshot and later CTRL+D to fit window size to the actual screenshot size.
2. I have now added an option to use volume keys for capturing screenshots (version 0.3). All HTC HD2 users, please try this feature.
3. It's http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.controls.textbox.inputscope(v=vs.95).aspx. In my case: <TextBox ... InputScope="TelephoneNumber" ... />

Thank you! Very much nice work!!!!
Find the download HERE
V1.3 can be found here
Please note: I am NOT the original creator of this ROM, this ROM was originally made by Civato, and as a result, he deserves all the credit for it. All I did was modify a few things in order to make it work and display a little better on our A100.
The original ROM was called RE-FLEXxx-ShellSHOCK and is based on This thread . If you happen to like this ROM make sure you hit up his thanks button, or better yet, send him a donation.
Some Features:
- Bits and pieces taken from Android 4.0.4 and 4.1 (mainly based on 4.0.4) off of ROMS from the Acer A500 and A700.
- Boatloads of scripts and tweaks for performance
- Acer features like the Acer Ring (WIP), Acer Print, and Dolby Mobile
- Most of the bloatware removed
- godmachine kernel pre-overclocked at 1.2GHZ. If you want to change that you will need an app for it.
- Google Now with functional TTS for other apps
- nice and fancy notification screen (taken from the A700)
- lots more
- Capacitive home button now launches google now or long press for Google Voice Search
-modified font and softkeys for unique UI
-Awesome BEATS
-Entropy Seeder 2.0
-LMT launcher (sort of like PIE for Paranoid Android)
For more information, you can check out his thread for his A500 here. Keep in mind that the more updates I do, the more it differs from that thread
DISCLAIMER: I will not be held responsible if this borks your system! Remember the risks of flashing custom ROMS!
Instructions:
Make sure you do a FULL NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING
Also make sure you do a COMPLETE WIPE (Data/Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, and format flexrom)
Install ZIP from your SD card (or wherever you downloaded it to)
Reboot!
BUGS/QUIRKS:
1) Although the lockscreen is 100% functional, you might notice that it looks a little funny when swiping to unlock.
2) It has come to my attention that headset microphones don't work on this ROM. I don't know if it is as of the last update or it has been a persistent issue. A way to temporary solve this is to download an app from the Play store called "soundabout" In this app, there is an option where you can force the microphone to work from the device, even when a headset is plugged in.
If there is anything else, please let me know!
One other thing I would like to note, is that it seems that the "touchscreen issue" is much less apparent with this ROM. Perhaps some people who commonly have that problem can provide feedback on this.

Initial Release
Does this mean that the original KEBBERSROM is discontinued in favor of this one?
I still have at least one update in store for the original kebbersrom, and likely more, but I'm thinking of keeping it a stockish rom and perhaps be editing this one more and making it less stock like because of all the awesome additions already made to it.

Nice ROM
I have RE-FLEXxx-ShellSHOCK on my 500 and I'm glad that someone has made it available for the 100. Kudos to Civato and hardslog!

Nice m8, good job!
About Acer ring on A100, don't use the Jellybean ring , use the other one from the ICS rom.(1.0 acerring version)
Then make the outerring (not possible in the JB ring) transparent. That will make the outer ring disappear and you will get only the innerring with icons and the volume slider. This will be shown correctly.
Unpack the Acerring apk with winrar (or decompile but for a image mod like this it is not needed) , and in drawable you make "outter_ring.png" 100% transparent.(with a image tool)
Thanks for the advice Civato, I'll definitely give that a try and we will see what happens! I have a decent idea on the acerring, because I have been fiddling around with the old ICS one on my other ROM and almost have that to my liking.
In terms of the lockscreen issue that was there before, it turns out that it wasn't a screen resolution issue, it was actually an icon issue. It was missing one of the drawable folders for the unlock icons that I saw in the framework-res.apk of the A100 roms, so I added it in and boom, the lockscreen came back (although the unlock animations are still a bit funny looking, but it's fully working).
Bug report: front facing camera is inverted.

Download attachment and flash with cwm.
@ Hardslog , if this works just extract the patch and put the lib file in the rom ; system/lib
I'll try asap.
Edit: fixed, thanks civato!

Civato is the man. That file fixed the camera. I'll have it included in the next update!

Have you found out where the animations are located within the framework-res.apk... more so if they're in their own folder within the apk?

To be honest I haven't looked into it yet. All the animations are there. You will only notice the funny animation if you press on the unlock button without "swiping" it. You will see the lock icon move to the right of the screen. All the other animations work properly and the lockscreen is fully functional so it hasn't exactly been on the top of my priority list.
Update: Kebbersrom_shellshock v1.1
Released a minor update that fixes the Acer Ring layout as well as the camera upside down bug. Thanks again to Civato for helping in doing this.
I might be releasing some CWM zips to change the capacitive home button. I changed it to google now/voice search but I'm sure some people won't like it.
Dumb question but is it okay for me to flash this over 1.0 or should I do a clean wipe and install?
You probably can, but make sure you do a nandroid backup first in case something goes wrong. Alternatively, I actually wiped everything first (including Flexrom) and flashed the new version, then went into backup and restore, and advanced restore, restored data. This was in CWM. That brought everything back I had in V1.0
All quiet on the A100 dev front............

Fine then I will!
Attached are CWM zips for capacitive home button. I think they are fairly self-explanatory. One will make it the home button that it is meant for, one will disable it for those who don't like it, and the third will allow it to launch Google Now, as per this ROM's default.
All you need to do is download them, place them onto your device and then flash with CWM. There is no need to wipe anything before flashing. Just flash and reboot. I tested them all and they are working fine for me. You might want to do a backup first though, just to be on the safe side.
