not sure but i hoping verizon well use a 4G hotspot i have a free 3G hotspot it uses the 3G and alot faster then wireless tether

Just a curiosity, maybe someone that has developed can chime in. What is the main difference between how wired tether and wireless tether in aosp roms works vs the 3g mobile hotspot that is baked into sense?

Does anyone have a hacked Sprint hotspot app. Or an app that's compatible with our phone, I've tried Wi-Fi tether but I keep getting the stated with errors message.

If you're rooted I've heard that the wifi tether for root users app works if you put the phone down as a galaxy nexus cdma/lte.

android-wifi-tether is the one I use; it works great. It does require root and a kernel with netfilter.
It comes preinstalled with some ROM's, so you may already have it.
