My Desire is experiencing a strange new behaviour . It's battery last 4 hours only. After checking for the culprit I've found that the mobile is always awaken ( uptime and awake are equal ) . This is happening even after an hard reset , so no external application involved .I've even kill some task of the android system with the same result . On the *#*#4636#*#* menu I have the other usage time of 100% always . What should I try to find the reason for this ? This was happening after the last OTA update but it could be a coincidence . By the way I buy a motherboard for this amoled desire ( could be the only fix ?? ).

What ROM are you currently using?
I use standard european rom , , baseband 32.49.00.32U , kernel 2.6.32.14 , software 2.29.405.2 . I have a second desire with me so I can compare them . Absolutely no difference on activities , checked even with the aLogcat utility . Everything is identical , they are booting with the same speed , behaving perfectly in the same time . Really no clues...

My Desire was working perfectly until I performed the gmail client update which I received from HTC yesterday. I stick with the HTC official ROM since the first day I got it and didnt not perform any mod like install custom ROM , root. After it finished update , it just keep rebooting when it reached 'Quietly Brilliant' screen . I did a hard reset , CLEAR STORAGE . But it didnt help. So I did some google search , and found a solution that use to solve my kind of problem . Reflash the ROM through the HTC sync .

But none of this work , I keep getting errors like 'customer id not match' , 'file no open/found error code:110' ,'BOOTLOADER VERSION ERROR‎ ' . I thought I've downloaded corrupted file . But I was getting the same errors even I have downloaded a new RUU .
I'm from Asia , Malaysia. The Desire is Amoled version , current ROM version is 2.10.405.2 , version 2.2 , and I always perform the HTC official update.

Omega ROM v14 4.1.2
Stock kernel
which I got 7 months ago . I rooted it few days after I got it and installed latest Omega ROM at that time and some later versions of Omega ROMs and stayed on v14 for long time with stock kernel . The device was running normally and smoothly till a week ago when the device suddenly started to lags and freezes and overheats with late response to touch and typing and opening apps .
During this week I installed cool tool and system tuner to monitor the CPU load and temperature I noticed that the CPU load is between 90 - 98% almost all the time with fast battery drain and the device freezes when the load reach 100 % ( not always ) even if I'm not running any app and sometimes the screen does't turn on after turning off till I force restart or remove the battery and put it back . Then I installed latest Omega ROM v16 with stock kernel with wiping cache and dalvik cache without full/factory wipe but the problem still there .
I Installed latest Perseus kernel to have some contol over the CPU and tried to change the max frequency up and down with no benefit !! .
I was thinking about Note 2 sudden death syndrome ( SDS ) but my device is internal 32GB version which means it is unlikely to get SDS and eMMC check showed No. Sane chip .
So, I hope to find a solution as I like my Note 2 and I have no interest to change it .

I suggest to go back to stock (rooted if you want). I was in a similar situation as you are now. I was about to sold my Note 2. I did a factory reset, rooted and installed applications one by one just to see which one misbehaves. I have the perfect phone now

I started with the easiest solution so I tried to you use without sd card but didn't work.

Solved !!
I flashed the stock ROM and full wipe/factory reset without unroot then flashed Revolution HD ROM .
The problem was solved in that time .
Then I started to restore my apps by titanium backup one by one and dicovered that A.I.Type keyboard is the reason because when I restored and used it, the CPU usage raised again and the problem returned .
Finally, I opened application manager in the settings and chosed A.I.Type keyboard and did "clear data" and now my mobile runs fast and smooth .

Glad you got a resolution.
most cooks would advise against a dirty flash and reinstalling apps with tb for the reasons you stated.

Yes, you are right !!
but thank god everything is OK now .
Okaii so my htc was working all normally , suddenly the screen touch stopped resonding , once i restart it , it works for like a minute then stops , but sometimes it doesn't work at all , i want to know if it's hardware related or software , it's rooted and it has ARHD , i did a nan droid restore to stock but the issue is still there.. help ?
( Also no touch in CWR , i use the volume buttons.. )
No touch in cwm is probably due to the used version of cwm. But the inside the running OS you should not have that issue !
It was on arhd & stock, my guess .... hardware issue !

Well i wish it's a hardware issue because after all the things i have done , from nandroid to CID getting to restoring and everything , nothing worked ! i was on ARHD 33.1 for like a whole month and noting happened , just one day it stopped and started this glitching :/ so you recommend fixing the screen or something wired inside it ?
I cant recommend anything, im not a hardware guy .....sorry.

1. From a week i was facing Network signal issue. I thought it might be sim card issue or ROM. But no(tried changing ROM also).
2. After 3 days Suddenly phone became too slow, I performed hard reset also, No use....

so i flashed my a505g with the recent firmware and now it has a problem .
when i flash it phone restarts normaly and works fine but after couple of hours it restarts one time and all videos ( from facebook , youtube , camara atc ) play in fast forward with no sound . ( like double speed ) . and any other APP and games lose theyre sound as well
i connect the phone to any blutooth device and videos play normaly but when i dissconnect , problems comes again
i tried to flash using pit file and i even flashed it using nand erase ...
tried with diffrent country firmware too .
please help .

I am having the same issue. Downgrading to android 9 does not solve the problem. Is it possible that android 10caused hardware problems.
I have been having this problem for last 3-4 months. restarting the phone a couple of times fixes this issue then works for a couple of days before showing the same problem. I was wondering if you guys have found any solutions.
