i don't know, i keep looking in the dev section but nothing
anyone has an OC kernel for firmware 1.72 yet?
Nope, but if / when there is one you'll see it as soon as it's ready in the Dev section ;-)
Nah...HTC hasn't released the source code yet...Unfortunately!But they are obliged to do it soon!So wait...we'll soon be happy! ;-)

I will wait for an hero to make it then
Devs can't release any custom kernels until htc releases the source.
Has anyone seen anything floating around yet?

I'm waiting for htc to release kernel, then netarchy can make one
It'll be a while, I expect. I think I read the last time HTC did an update, it was about a month before the source code was released.
Hopefully they move a little quicker this time. I would love a GB kernel with SBC. Tired of running Sense 2.1/3.0 roms and having to lose my camera just to get some SBC.
Come HTC, make your dev community happy and release the source!

You can be sure that there will be a kernel posted here hours after HTC lets there's out. XDA is beautiful like that haha
Anyone have a kernel that supports overclocking which will work on AVA-GingerAleV3? I'm sure there is a thread with an answer but I'm at work and thought someone could help me out with the link. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure there isn't, as of yet, a kernel that supports overclocking for any sense-based gingerbread ROMs. The source code for the sense-based gingerbread kernel wasn't released yet. Once it is the devs will crank out an overclocking kernel

As soon as I read this response I realized how stupid of a question that was. I knew they didn't release the source code thus there is no GB sense based kernel. Thanks for the answer

ok i know i probly asked this question a miliion times but, is there any news on how progress is going for a sense 4.0 rom or a ics kernel? is it even possible to get an ics sense kernel for our phone? or is there any devs that are trying to port a sense 4 rom? i looked everywhere on the internet and xda but i cant find any info about kernel or rom. i heard jaredthegreat was trying to a couple months ago, but not sure if hes still working on that. so can the community enlighten me and others who are eager to try the new version sense on how progress is going for our OG evo?
Probably waiting on source code still... and not the best topic to be asking on, you may get flamed for this one...
kernel source? can we use the one v source? or are you talking about the 2.3.5 source for the evo?
The EVO will not receive an ics OTA update so devs will have to work with the source when it comes out and make it work with the EVO

hy guys, i have not found a jelly bean kernel that includes cpu and gpu overclock... nova 3 lags a lot... thanks
Well first of all this is not the right place to ask questions.
Second if you had bothered to search and look around you would have known that we are all waiting for htc to release kernel source so our brillian devs can make custom kernels. Please ask any further questions in the Q&A section.

htc haven't release source code for JB...
you must wait
You can always fork Trip's sense 3.1 kernel and add it in if you need to. Pretty easy.
