Cool deal dude, loved what you did with the blue minimalism theme and how it set the blueprint for the green minimalism theme! Hope you can get this to port on over to our side of things.

Does that offer go to me as well? I have done some theming for the moment and actually just used your dialer buttons in my current Epic project last night. Could always use a good resource for help and you seem to have good knowledge from my perusing of other phone themes.

Can you please keep working on this, cuz I think the other dude(thomasskull) just meant attempting to flash the current one (which does not work) instead of actually doing the port himself lol, i think....and if that is the case, please port this over, especially if its something you can accomplish fairly easily

It shouldn't be very hard its just time consuming. I don't mind spending the time but there's no sense in two people doing it. I was just taking him at his word that he was porting it. Let's see if he responds and let's us know what he's doing.

Its not that hard or time consuming considering how much I'm on my phone but I themed a launcher, dialer, contacts, vending, gtalk, calculator, tw framework and framework today.. All while taking the time out if my day to talk with tmo for 2.5 hours about how their service sucks...

Just about done. Had to make a few custom images as this wasn't meant for 4g or the extra battery steps we have. Should be up tonite sometime but will need to be flashed over a deodexed rom, no compatability guarantees.

I was looking into it. It currently doesn't theme a lot, but looking at the xml files, I am thinking about trying out modding the Cyanbread theme for a red theme. I'm hoping it won't be too hard. Just have to take a more detailed look at it =] Best bet is to go ahead and use it to change your theme to see what is changed.

It does look awesome, but WHY DON'T ANY THEMES CHANGE THE VOLUME SLIDER COLORS.... the ugliest part of CM7 is those puke yellow bars and themse don`t change them.... sorry had to rant

I saw the other day that kmobs published a theme called "Greybread" but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm pretty sure the red and blue themes in the Market edit the framework files. Maybe tearing them apart will help you guys figure out how to work with the Theme Manager?

hey kid. How about you go to the theme section and post this there. This isn't in no way shape or form a rom. It's a kang with a theme like the other 90% of roms out in Xda. I do however give you kudos on not renaming 'dcbeast AOSP' or something of that nature. When will people learn.

I understand where your coming from and you're absolutely right that its not a rom or at least his own custom made rom, but give the guy a break. He said he's trying to learn how to develop roms. Let's not run away a potential developer by being rude.

I appoligize to the mt4g xda community and to faux123 for post kang work and in the wrong section..
I just had know idea were to post this because i wanted to work on a rom a rather than just a theme itself but it did not want to try to build from scratch with any proir knowledge to android. i just wanted to work on a rom and try to fix things and make additions here an there until i eventually could develop somthing for the community that has given me so much and such an intrest in android and which was the main reason i got a mt4g. I will come back when i can develop a rom by myself or possibly with feedback from a different community.

Yes, but there is no need to make a whole ROM. Just make a flashable zip with the themed apps/framework. Ok. I'm done.
Don't be too harsh on him. He pm'ed me right before he posted this. I gave him 100% permission to do so. I wish I could have posted this earlier (I was out with my buddies). He said he wanted to learn about Rom cooking and he wanted to use my aosp as a learning tool, I told him to go right ahead and I even told him about a few hidden gems for my aosp so he can maximize the theming engine. Now he wrote me another pm to apologize to me and I was confused why he was apologizing until I saw this thread and the responses he received. We all start from somewhere and we all make rookie mistakes (I personally have made tons of mistakes), so lets cut him some slack and enjoy the time and effort he spent on this project and thank him for it.

Thank you to the OP for this, and going about relaesing it the right way! Thanks to faux for the great base as well! Keep up the great work bro and I hope to see more from you! Finally this phone is getting some love, dont worry about the negativr ppl, just do you and release what you wish with proper credits and permission! I been crackflashin alot this last week and love all this new spice in my life! There are a few things that can be fixed here and there on this THEMED FAUX ROM, but all in all a great first release! Its not that easy to make themes buddy... it takes a long time of hard editing and that's shy they are only simple colors unless a lot of people request something

Ain't everyone? Lols, but yeah someone please make a Steelers theme! I've tried everywhere. Even put a synergy rom on because they have a Steelers theme you can flash, but was too buggie, nice looking but I like the skyraider roms myself.

About the banners, I think it would be easier for you to make on set that we can use for everyone of our ROMs. But if you want to make one for each ROM, then I would say unicef to be red and black . Thanks for all your doing. We're actually in need of agraphic designer, would you like to join all star devs?

No worries Tmogalaxys2, it's not hard for me to make individual banners. I think it would help differentiate each ROM and it would look visually better aesthetic wise. And sure, black/red unicef coming right up (I'll have to figure out how the black on black will work though, I'll surprise you).
It would be my privilege to be a part of the team. I've had experience being in a team within the Samsung Captivate section (working with the teams that made the old yet notable Apex and Pinnacle Roms). By the way, this is my second XDA account, if I haven't made it obvious already.
I strive for visual perfection when it comes to the whole image of the team, I will definitely not let you guys down!

It's cool that you're working on the team's site, never knew they decided upon that, ahaha. If you need help creating the site, let me know! For the banner, it should be okay to use for the site, just recheck with the boss's of the team. But as a heads up, I'll be making an individual one for each ROM. Cheers!
Edit: If you would like to make any necessary adjustments with the official banner, let me know as I have the raw files. It would be much more easier if I were to modify it for you and the image will retain it's integrity.

For the banner, it should be okay to use for the site, just recheck with the boss's of the team. But as a heads up, I'll be making an individual one for each ROM. Cheers!
Edit: If you would like to make any necessary adjustments with the official banner, let me know as I have the raw files. It would be much more easier if I were to modify it for you and the image will retain it's integrity.
