Hello,
I have been flashing roms on my diamond for a while now, however the other day I tried one and now regardless of which rom I flash and which way I flash it (activesync or from storage card) after it completes the customizations and resets it runs the customizations again, resets, runs customizations..., you get the picture.
UPDATE: Its seems to be getting worse.. sometimes I freezes at the splash screen after the 1st or 2nd reset.
Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how I can break out of this loop??
I would really appreciate any help as I love my diamond and can't afford a new one lol
I'm no expert... but I had similar problems with some cooked roms.
My solution was to update my HardSPL to 1.93
Also, don't forget to do a Hard Reset after flashing the rom and also try flashing a new rom from the internal memory.

Had the same issue a while back. Try MTTY here, solved all my problems.
Maybe you can try to flash a stock rom first, then do hard reset.
Then you can flash the custom rom you like.
I had a similar problem as before. I found it helpful to do it that way.

MTTY seems to have done the trick.. though I'm a little scared to flash a new rom now lol
great to heard that you solved your problems! I also face the same problem especially if flashing between wm6.1 to wm6.5 or the other way. Just MTTY then problem solved!
please help! for every rom i flash, no matter what i do, the people app begins to force close on my when i try to edit or add a new contact. i of course wipe before every flash. this is like a huge problem considering adding contacts is.... kinda important! please get back to me asap with any ideas! thanks. and thank you for all of your work on the evo!

But I honestly have no clue what is wrong. Especially if it isn't ROM specific.
Try flashing stock, and you are wiping dalvik cache too right?
could it have to do with titanium backup?

Try only backing up your apps and then flash a ROM. Restore the apps only. I got weirdness happening too when I tried to back up system data.
Hi guys, I was wondering if you ever got this issue resolved? Ive been having the same problem getting FCs everytime i try to add a new contact or edit existing ones. I am currently running Fresh 0.5.3 but already had the FC issue a while ago when running DC3.2. I was on bugless .4 before that but i dont remember trying to add a contact at that time so im not sure if i had the error then as well. I have tried wiping with both clockwork recovery as well as amon-ra as well as flashing roms with both but to no avail. I am at a loss as to what to try. Any new ideas? Thanks!
I'm having this issue as well with force close on my people app and all I have is LauncherPro. No rooting done on my phone.
Ok, bit of a problem here, wondering if anyone could help. I had a folder on my computer all nicely arranged with all my rooting PCImg's and how to's, and all my boot images and what not. Well I accidentally deleted it and tryed to restore many different backups, they all restore the folder but the only thing in it is my stock backup rom. nothing ells. So all it really did was "undo" any updates I had installed. Is there a program out there that can restore these files, so that I don't have to re-download them all again, keeping me and sprint happy? thanks for any help.

What do you mean? Did you install Krazy-killa's kernal and now you can't install the system? Do you still get the black screen with the options? Using Krazy-killa's kernal, you should install system on the SD card only along with the data. If you are trying to install it on NAND, you might not be able to. Try reflashing the phone. Please be more clear about your problem and try to list what you have done so you can get the answers quicker. I know English might not be your first language, but take a little more time in writing your questions and you'll get the answers to your question in a timely fashion.

Some while ago, i decided to root my phone. I did some stuff with it and it was fun. But now my phone is stuck in a bootloop! I've tried flashing a custom rom(using sd-card), but it didn't work... No, i dont have a backup. I've deleted all of my data but it still won't work.
PS: Im really sorry if a question like this has already been asked, im new to this place.
