Hy guys. I have Market Enabler 3.1.1.2 that you can download from the market. Its good, but only problem is I cant see apps (paid apps, or top paid...), i must search apps by their name and only then can I see them (paid apps). Is Market Access better, i cant find it on the Market? And this version of Market Enabler 3.1.1.2 when was it released, are devolpers still updateing this app.?

I have both, and I dont think its the app issue. Just apply fake, force close the market + clear data and run the market again. (Or FC market, clear data and then apply then run)
It should ask you to accept them TOS and should show the apps.
( You will later encounter more issues, like apps missing from your downloaded aps or when updating, but all can be fixed has nothing also with the market access/enabler)
I use Market Enabler. I'm in Claro Puerto Rico and the first time that I set the [us] T-Mobile market i had to wait at least 30 minutes. Then i had all the T-Mobile Market features. (Paid Apps... Etc.)

I waited for few hours but nothing changed, free apps are ok(have top free, just in) but paid, I can find them only by name(dont have top paid)

Then you didn't do it like I told you to do . Or you did it wrong.
I have the same issue as you described.
But when you force close the market and erase the data/cache. And apply the "hack" it has to open the apps.
Try to restart your phone and right after start apply the US fake. Then go to market.

This is what I did, Open the market/press home button/task manager/close the market/titanium backup/found market and wipe data/open market enabler/select uk tmobile spoof this provider/ close market enabler/ open the market no luck
same thing if I restar the phone
Didn't even know that titanium backup has that option good to know (I used always settings >>> applications >>> manage applications and here, force close/erase data cache)
Anyway, as said I have the same issue but this usually helps, try to spoof something else? Or some market fix from the SGS tools on your own risk

Hmm, dunno . It wasn't like this before, with the earlier versions of the market.
later it gets bugged, meaning you will see payed even with the hack , but you wont be able to purchase them , etc. Applying fake and you will be able. Just dont get scared like me and dont post messages on forums like "wow we got payed apps"

Yeah, and will I be able to update apps, that are downloaded with this method (Market Enabler)?

This is a seriously, SERIOUSLY annoying problem I've discovered.
Sometimes when I open the "Downloads" section in Market my apps aren't there. Well, a few are but most aren't. And there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason behind which ones still show up vs the ones that are missing.
I don't switch ROMs - I run Fresh (currently the latest version).
The only way I can get them to reappear is to manually search for an app I already have installed and update it if an update is available. Then POOF all of my downloads are there.
Any idea what in the HECK could be going on here? This sucks because I can't see when an update is available unless I search for the app. It's driving me nuts

Thanks, that did it....still wonder what the heck the cause is though.
It may have something to do with running a custom rom, bit imo the Android market still has some bugs to work out.
Sent from my SUPERSONIC
It happens to me all the time. Cyanogen and I believe Ava-Froyo roms seem to download all of my 350+ apps that I have ever downloaded. Some roms only seem to "remember" or only allow me to download certain apps from the Market. I am thinking that if I don't have the option selected to download unauthorized apps from the Market, that could be one reason why. But, I have been wondering the same thing as the OP. Only a couple of the many, many roms I have used/tried will actually have "saved" all of the apps I have ever downloaded. It is a pain when it is a paid app that doesn't show up. I have to remember which ones I bought so I can re-download!
My issue wasn't the market data, but for some reason some roms when Apps are moved to the SD card it screws up what shows.
Try moving any apps on your SD card to your phone memory instead, then kill the market task and restart it
they should all show then
Same problem but with a twist
Not only do my apps keep disappearing from the market, but some apps won't aunthenticate with Googles license server, so I cannot use them! ARGH!

I can't seem to find it in the market, on my Archos. In fact, there are loads of apps I can't seem to find that others are finding just fine, free apps as well as paid. Have done the whole "market fix" thing several times, but no joy. Am accessing the market in UK. Any other fixes people have tried.

Is it correct that I cannot take a "backup" of my apps and reinstall from web after a flashing??? Too bad
I just tried to log on, but I get a certification failure, and if I comtinue the address is on a red background.
Works great. Click on it on your computer and it downloads and installs on your phone. My old eyes love this.
When i flash my phone, so all installed apps are deleted.. but this website shows me that the apps which i have installed before the flash are currently installed, too?
How can it be reactualized so that the online market shows me the apps correct..

Although you wiped your phone, you probably had your settings set up to back up your application information and to restore after an install. You can check that by going into Settings, and then Privacy. My ROM (aosp-CMod-20110201) has this feature, so whenever I wipe, format and flash a new update, all my apps are restored.

Very nice, this is how market should be.
Both free and paid apps work for me (Voda-NL) and get pushed straight to the phone, very convenient.
Hmm exciting?

So far I stick to appbrain.

I've been having trouble with Android Market today. I can communicate with the market just fine, but nothing downloads. It either doesn't start or gets stuck a "Starting Download." Is anyone else seeing this?
I'm not having any problems installing from Amazon's App store. I even installed the Plant's Vs. Zombies freebie this morning, even though it didn't work (didn't expect it too).

I don't really know what the 'usual' way to clear the market cache is. It's not in the list of apps you can clear under Manage Applications. I'm a newbie at this, so what I don't know about Android is a lot bigger than what I do.
How do you clear the cache for the market? I couldn't see any way to do it except using an app like Cache Clean.

Just like you'd clear any other application's cache/data - in Manage Applications under Settings -> Applications...
Notice the tabs at the top. If you only stay in the 'Downloaded' tab, you'll obviously never see the Market as that wasn't downloaded...

Hrm. I hate to use this as a troubleshooting step, but have you tried a new data.img?
You can try renaming the old one if you want to be able to revert to it...
There's a fix_permissions script that is supposed to circumvent the need for a new data.img, not sure if it'll help you in this case or not.
I went back to an earlier copy of data.img and the market worked. So, after spending hours goggling and trying every crazy, random thing people claimed worked, I ended up redoing my phone. I copied everything off the SD card, formatted it, and installed a fresh copy of FRX06. The market works again.
I got wireless working, installed some essential files, and backed up everything to my desktop. I'll back it up every couple of days for a while so if the market goes South again, I'll have a quick fallback.
Thanks for all your help.
glad you have it working
Just a question, did u try and use Update All button in marketplace? Usually that always bugs out the downloader and causes them to get "stuck". Just Cancel all downloads and do manually one by one imo

I might have. But I did just what you said. I cancelled all of them and retried them one at a time, and did it over and over again many times after trying different "this works" ideas.
I had this same issue and am still having it.
I'll give this a try as well... started a few days ago when my zeam FC looped on me and I had to reinstall Froyo since I had no way of reverting to another launcher.
Thanks!
The only thing that worked for me was completely reloading the FRX06 build from scratch.
I've seen various people reporting this issue lately.

can you provide info on how to do this please?
most likely he uses titanium backup (which i believe everyone does, or should).
It can saves previous versions of all app's and you can easily reinstall them to old version.
I've been reading a lot about market problems lately and i think its due to their end mostly, not ours since there are so many with issues. I hope it just "works" again soon =)
I do use Titanium backup and bought the pro version a while back to support the developer. For me, it is one of those "must have" programs, particular with the constantly changing state of xdandroid development going on here.
Hi,
I've been using CM9beta2 on my Wonder for a while.
Now my phone it's starting to get too laggy so I'm trying to free up as much RAM as possible (having around 50MB available doesn't seem enough!).
However, many apps are always running, even though I disabled everything I could in the settings.
For example, google maps keeps regularly eating 5-10MB RAM, sometimes google Play too, etc...
Is there a way to keep apps out of RAM?
How do you do it?
The only solution I find otherwise, is to get the apk, and install apps when you need them, then uninstall them immediately...

Thanks, but... wouldn't Auto Killer Memory use more battery (or RAM) than having the apps running?
I mean, having smth that checks every few minutes running apps and that closes them... then they reopen again, and the Auto Killer closes them again, and so on... doesn't seem the best solution!
Am I wrong?

It really depend , but I try it and actually getting better result .
With CM9 rom there is a way to disable the apps that you don't need , just go to setting menu, chose manage apps, click the apps that you don't use , and click disable . But you have to make sure the apps that you disable WILL NOT effect other apps that in use . :silly:
Hi...there are two ways to do what you want to do....
The first is as you say to delete and re install the apps as you need them.....
The other way is to NOT delete them, but to FREEZE them. (This is the better option, and the option that I use) there are several apps that will do this, titanium backup (paid app) and Gemini app manager (free) to name two.
I use Gemini and it does EXACTLY what you are asking. You have to be rooted in order to use either of the apps I mentioned....but if you're using a custom rom, I guess you already are. Both apps are available in the Play Store, and there's an online tutorial on how to use Gemini....just Google it.......
Hit thanks if this helped
CM9....I don't have to...I just......can
