[Q] Desire z stock walpapers/sense.com?

Can someone share the wallpapers included in the desire z? and what about the ones on htc.com? someone posted those but theyre messed up overlapping etc :/ , id like to get new wallpapers on my galaxy s , i can share my collection if u want

They should be in the Modaco ROM, if not get them out of the ruu in the development section.
Not sure exactly where but they must be somewhere right?

downloaded the modaco rom, the wallpapers are indeed there, thank you!
I know a guy here posted the wallpapers in htcsense.com but theyre effed up, cut in half etc

I should get mine delivered tomorrow,... drop me a pm Tue / Wed if you're still looking then. I'll try to remember though.

Thanks mate! Just came from a Desire Z ROM on my Droid Incredible and I miss all the new wallpapers.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but I've got two questions:
a) Where and how do you extract the stock/downloaded wallpapers from? I've been trying to find Desire Z's wallpapers for two days with no luck. You seem to have found them.
b) Is it possible that Sense does some kind od color correction when using wallpapers? The Abstract_05_2 one, which I want, has the color transitions between different red hues totally smooth on my gf's Desire Z with Sense, while I have the transitions visible as annoying bars of different hues on Cyanogen. Does one support more bit colors as the other?
Edit: no, has to be something else than b). I just tried setting the extracted jpeg that ddotpatel uploaded on my gf's Z and it's just as ugly as on my Cyanogen. The same background, while set through the HTC Wallpapers app (where it was downloaded from HTC's Hub), has the color transitions totally smooth.

[Q] Cell antenna location

Hi all.
I've dissesambled my Wildfire to extend the cell antenna, but i can't find it anywhere.
Someone has any idea where it is and how it looks like?
I'm looking all day now and even broke some stuff so i'm really desperate atm

I have the same issue

being classed as incompatible would generally mean that it doesnt work. so the apk wouldnt make any difference at all.
maybe worth emailing the dev and asking if they plan on releasing an update for the one x

Works for me.. i'm sure someone on here already posted the .apk!

HTC One X notes PORT (HELP)

Hey guys, i need help porting the HTC Notes app and widget that was originally created for the htc one x.
Its extremely helpful, as it syncs with evernote, and lets you do everything with evernote but faster.
I attatched some of the apks that might be needed, im not sure which ones we need and which ones we dont.
I have already tried putting them into system/app and changing permissions, but they do not work.
If we can get this ported it would help a lot of others, not just me.

Hi my desire is officially DEAD... dropped it and now wont turn on, charge, no leds nothing, changed battery still nothing. Ah well its been fun. laters desire people :cyclops:

I hope you will still hang around, helping us deal with noobs and their Desires.

If you've had it for less than 2 years and you are in europe, and you still have purchase receipts, HTC will most probably fix it for you under warranty. Exact same happened to me and that's what I got.

yh iv no warranty for it, its old school pvt1 haha. i went and got a price to repair it and they dont change the motherboard, they just fully rebuild it and they wanted 100 euro so i laughed and walked out the shop. theres cheap motherboards on ebay so i mite take a chance n get 1, but god only knows what il be getting.

My Desire is starting to show its its age. Wishing it would die on me but it keeps chugging along even with countless drops and steamy rooms.
Bought it back in June 2010 and the upcoming HTC One is making me feel things I've never felt in a long time since getting my Desire.

Oops! you'll be certainly missed. Who's gonna prepare all those hboots and help noobs unbrick their Desires

My Desire fell into the toiler(again) last week and was sitting dead for a few days but it just won't die. best phone I ever had, if the HTC One is all that and a beg of chips I'll keep my Desire in a special case for future generations to behold.

erm...? i really dont know what to get, im using my really old samsung wave right now haha. but i was thinking last night and i love flashing roms and messing/learning soo i thought whats the point in buying the latest HTC One or SIII? i mean the whole point in flashing is to upgrade a phones software to something new and u cant if u already have the latest.. the only thing u could do is root and flash a tweaked version of what u already have, so il pass on the HTC One and SIII. so what i want is a HTC but slightly older but have the hardware to handle sense 4.x etc etc, iv always likes the HTC Sensation XL so mite go down that road, its sense 3.5 (which i love) plus it can be upgraded to sense 4 so i can flash away mad on it. We'll see, im not buying it yet antway, iv too much on with work and im doing evening courses on welding and they last till aprill 21st so it will prob be then (ish)

Ha i still didnt even look for a new phone yet. Bought a new car tho, an old BMW 323 its a beast haha

Just got a 99 rover haha, I guess these things go hand in hand.

HTC Sensation
Definitely keep an eye out for a Sensation. These phones still have great developer support.
By the way, nice car pick. I've seen some pretty quick old 323s. :good:
