really, u cant just search google? And there is like this big big big thread with all the info u need on flashing, rooting roming in the general.and development sections. Im starting to hate the way this forum is behaving...why cant people use their brains sometime, instead of coming on here, opening one thread, and typing the exact words they coulda typed into google search. OMFG

In the HTC One X forum, their are now two subforums for development, one is 'One X Android Development,' and the other is 'One X original Android Development.'
Why was the latter one made? Please let me know as I'm really curious and confused :S

Doesnt the title give it away? Original development? It's stufff what is original, one of a kind.

Yes, but Sense ROMs are original as well, and isnt your ROM as well? So why arent they there? ? And Interp's CM9 is original like tbalden's as well, yet it isnt there, why? :S

weird thing why is the cm9 build there that is not original at all there are other pure cm9 builds?
and why are my ROM and ParanoidAndroid not there instead?
the mods failed with organizing it i think...

That way, shouldnt every thread be in that section, other than ones for Repacked kernels? , id appreciate if a mod could elaborate.

First of all this thread doesn't belong here.
Secondly I kinda get the point. It should include stuff that is "original" meaning that it's being developed from scratch for the One X.
From that logic, it should only include AOSP builds and kernels. The organization has indeed failed. Mods owe the devs some sort of an explanation as to what constitutes "Original Android Development".
And it doesn't even show up in TapaTalk so that's another headache.

Yes, and if it doesnt appear, simply remove the One X Forums from favorites and re add it, should work, worked for me on the XDA Premium app.

I like the concept but "Create Thread" should be disabled in Original Development section atleast for non-RD's . Only I moderators feels like it belongs there they can move it.

Your posting crap for no good reason. You've already had 3 threads locked in July alone. Why? Because there was no need for them, just like this one. I saw the announcement as soon as I looked and it explained it all. Even so, why post in development? This will be locked as well at a guess. That will be 4 in July.

I am looking for cm for my htc one x (at&t) but am confused since there is multiple htc one x's and I dont want to install the wrong one. I just want some one to go ahead and let me know which one it is for my one x. Thank you
P.S. I did look around and used the search couldn't find anything, and I am new to htc's but not new to rooting and cwm and things of that nature.

None of these here in these forums. They are for One X international version. You should check the HOX AT&T forums.

Hello,
I am new in this section of XDA. Previously I used to own a Sony Ericsson X8 which was very easy to upgrade with XDA Roms and Kernels. But upon searching the same for HTC One V, I realised its not the same.
I was looking for a helping on the following things:-
1. How to ROOT a HTC One V GSM device.
2. How to Install a new ROM on HTC One V GSM device.
3. Which is the best ROM for my device. (Best as in, fully working, 0% bugs, great in gaming and performance)
Can someone help me on this? I'm a rookie on this device I suppose.
