Okay so I've been using stock, rooted, and I thought the battery was good.. but I watched a 2 hour movie with 100 percent battery, and it drained sooo quickly..
But on my captivate I watched transformers 1 and 2 with dolby digital surround on in hd. And it still had some juice to spare after..
And the captivate battery is sorry, so I'm wondering what is the best kernel for longer life.
I switched to the most recent cyanogen nightly to see if its better

I don't think so. If I remember correctly the dimensions are different.

Won't even come close to fitting. I have both phones so yes I am certain.

Hi guys jjust wondering how much does voice call drain battery. Im using ARHD 5.1.9 and my battery dropped 30-40% in an hour.

its abnormal i guess. i think you should reflash rom after a full wipe using the recommended radio (check arhd's topic).

Guys I do not know what is going on. When I run aosp roms I get horrible drain. No matter how much I use my phone cell standby is always the culprit. Any ideas

Well I guess cm7 fixed the issue because everything is good now.

When I first installed this rom, my battery life was great. Now, I think something is wrong because the battery life has been running out faster than normal. For example, this is my battery just today:
I am using the freeza dual core fix and I just recalibrated my battery last night. Does anyone know what could be causing the poor battery life?
A rouge app. Or your settings.

I looked at better battery stats app and there are no rogue apps running. My settings are good too. I'm so confused.

I know it was. Everyone's is. Except mine :/

try flash a different radio or try a different rom. you will see different battery result.
Mines is OK.... in 14 hrs I had left 45% left ..

I just flashed the new radio so I'll see if that helps. So far, I got 12 hours of battery with 3 hours screen time, which is still pretty bad

Welcome to the family!
On day 2 and so far with the stock rom the battery life is superior to the nexus.

Try the people's rom. It's awesome. Slight themeing, But overall amazing performance.
Of course it will be superior Lol. I came from the epic touch and on that phone I could get 12 hrs max with 2.5 screen time. On the GS3 I get 17hrs easily with 4.5 hrs screen time
