May I ask you to list contents of the following files in your HTC Desire Z:

/SYSTEM/ETC/BLUETOOTH/BLACKLIST.CONF
My HTC Desire pairs with Parrot CK3200LS successfully, but seems Parrot's mic is muted during conversation. I tested Parrot with Desire Z - everything works OK. So I suspect bluetooth settings in my Desire. I want to compare those files in my Desire and in DesireZ.

Any one know which portable Bluetooth handsfree kit works on the Desire, I have a Parrot Minikit at the moment which connects to the desire but will do nothing else. Can't send contacts to it, if I use the phone to initiate the call it will not go through the mini kit the desire just make a normal call by it's self.
Do any one know if there will a radio update for this phone as I am unable to pair it correctly to my Parrot 3200 Hands free kit.
alsoit will not sync the address book and has audio problems.

Having an issue with my clarion cz509e head unit ... the pgone and bluetooth works fine but trying to transfer the phonebook just does not work the hu just sits there saying receiving and the phone loses bt connectivity to the hu
And ideas the phone is running oxygen rc2 htc desire s offed as well

I have the Desire Z and bluetooth headset Plantronics Voyager 520
Desire unfortunately Android did not see this headset (i tried many roms) - if anyone knows how to make Desire (android) work with this voyager 520?
This bluetooth headset work with the HTC TyTN II correctly.
I can still pair it with him.

Are you turning blutooth on your desire first and then turning on your plantronics after blutooth on phone is fully up? Might help, I know I have to do that when connecting to my motorola T505 hands free adapter

yes.. i turn on bluetooth device in android (desire) first.. waiting when devices start and after that i turn on headset. (My bluetooth is in scan mode and visible, but I've done a lot of combinations of scanning and wisible mode) in that moment (theoretically) headset send packages via bluetooth to phone (pairing packages)... but unfortunately my desire dont see this headset...
I read on a website, that desire is another version of bluetooth
than in the headset.
but I can not find the patch for (bluetooth) desire Z.

I have a Supertooth Buddy Handsfree Kit and It connects to my HTC Desire, but it only connects on the Phone Audio profile and NOT the Media Audio profile... My N97 seems to work fine it can stream Media Audio and Phone Audio
Right I contacted HTC see if they could help they said its impossible to do that Nokia phones do it coz they have more Bluetooth profiles than HTC coz they helped create the the technology....
okay to the point I know stuff can be hacked and altered/added (unofficial/illegally whatever you wanna call it) so I came across this How to connect mini bluetooh keyboard to Desire Froyo
That thread up there seems to explain how to add a Bluetooth Keyboard, so am guessing its actually adding in a Profile.
Is it possible that someone can help me out on this? I already have a rooted phone.
