Lockscreen - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know of a way i can change the lockscreen to something better then the stock pulldown lock ...I want something sickk ...does anyone know of a working one that is cooler...BTW I am on running MikFroyo 4.2
Edit : I did figure out that if u mount the system/app in Root Explorer and Delete HTC lockscreen APK ..and reboot u will get the AOSP lockscreen , which is kinda cool i didnt know u could do that

Widget Locker has multiple unlock options including rotary, iphone, and droid-like sliders. You can add multiple sliders and/or add widgets and other customizations to your lock screen. It's well worth it.

Custom Roms

Are there any custom roms out there that dont have a lockscreen, I'm am so tired of having these factory lockscreens. I have Lockbot Pro and thats the only lockscreen I want. But alot of time the Lockbot pro lockscreen does perfect then the factory Htc lockscreen kicks in so I have to unlock the htc and then the Lockbot pro...sick of it. I dont want any kind of lockscreen at all but lockbot. I already uninstalled the htc lockscreen then whats left is a froyo looking vanilla lockscreen see through. dont want that either.
search for what you want ... yea might take a little time but it will be worth it

Question about the lockscreen clock

Hi! I'm pretty new to the rooting world and this GW is my very first Android smartphone. I rooted my phone and currently using stock rom. I would like to know if there's any way to remove the huge clock on the lock screen without downloading any lockscreen app. Is it possible to customize it like hide it or change the font to an invisible one? The huge clock is blocking my lockscreen wallpaper and I hate it. All help shall be well appreciated. Thanks!

I think that is very unlikely to change w/o using third party app. U can try Go Locker. It can let u to disable the clock and date on the lock screen. Besides,
it provides quite a lot of customized theme too.
Use Go Locker is the best way for me
I think u cant do that thing
Thanks for all your suggestions. Is it possible to use the go locker while using the tw app? i like tw because i like the default look of gingerbread.

looking for some lockscreen features

Im looking for a few features on my lockscreen that dont appear to be possible with stock att galaxy.
I would like to get more than 4 shortcut apps on the lockscreen.
I would also like an email widget and calendar widget, maybe something similar to the news widget for the jb lockscreen.
Possible?

Not without your own personal modding, or flashing something else that has it...
Widget Locker will let you place sliders, widgets, and shortcuts on your lockscreen. I've never tried it with a stock ROM, but see no reason it shouldn't work.
You can find it in the Play store.

Excellent 1st post... You get a thanks...
Yep, Widget Locker will do a lot of what you're looking for. One tip, go into your lock screen settings (in your phone settings, not in WL settings) and set it to none once you've activated WL. This will keep the odd times when your stock lock screen might appear after unlocking via WL.

Desensed ROM but lockscreen icons...

I think there is an app or a way to do this but I cannot find it, I always had de-sensed roms but then installed Rosie to have the lockscreen icons, but lately even installing Rosie does not bring back the lockscreen icons like it used to (obviously with the show shortcut icons option ticked in Personalize), so I keep having to restore a very old version of Rosie that does bring the shortcuts back as the newer versions of the rosie.apk do not work, is there an app that could here? or is there a way to use a new version of Rosie.apk that will show the shortcuts in the lockscreen, thanks

You need this app : LINK. With this you can set the shortcuts in lockscreen. Remind to thanks the author

[Q] Replacing Default Lockscreen Clock Widget (fully replace)

I'm new to 4.3, and I'm using an S3 (Mobilicity). Rooted, stock rom and recovery. I'd like to know if it's possible to replace the clock widget from the lockscreen entirely. I'm caught between the xposed framework and Puzzle and Dragons, the game just won't cooperate with the framework (crashes upon opening). So, I've pretty much given up on trying to get secure widgets and everything since PaD won't run with them, and instead would just like to replace that default clock widget with something like DashClock.
If there is a way to do this, it would be much appreciated if you could share. I've looked all over and couldn't find anything on this.
EDIT: Alternately, if there was a way so that apps couldn't detect the xposed framework, or if there was another way to enable multiple widgets on a secured lockscreen, that would be great as well.
EDIT 2: Is there a way to bring back the 2-layer lock screen from 4.1? I can't fathom why they would completely leave that out, I love the swipe screen, it's got lots of space to show the wallpaper, and can also be used for other things (like the widgets >.>"), while you still have a second lock screen for the pattern lock.
