Hi,
I noticed before I rooted and loaded a custom ROM on my Desire Z, that the stock ROM has a ringtone called YOU, which I suspect is called YOU.mp3 file.
Well, I cannot get to it with the custom ROM I have nor via XDA or Google.
Can anyone put their hands on this file and post it or email to malloy0 @ msn. com?
Thanks,
malloy0
EDIT:
For those that flash your HTC Andriod ROM from stock to another chef creation, something I had missed on my HTC Desire Z stock ROM, that I finally found which is the HTC YOU TV commercial theme.
If you want the real song, $0.99 from Amazon and search this
Sinnerman (Felix Da Housecats Heavenly House Mix
The YOU mp3 is attached in a much shorter ringtone.
I changed the mp3 extension to .mp3.zip, so I could upload this file type.
After you download, remove the .zip characters to HTC YOU.mp3
Enjoy.
Bump?
No takers for the YOU mp3 sound?
Hi sent you the one I think you mean if it isn't email me I'll have another look

Hi guys. Lately I seem to be going paranoid, so here is a question for you all. How safe are my personal files, pictures, keepass databases etc if they are located on the sd card of my desire which is always connected to the internet? Could someone hack into my phone and download them?
Thanks for your time.

The answer is no. To get hacked you have to be stupid and purposefully do it or get a virus on your phone.

Thanks for the responses guys! The question that begs to be asked now, is what anti-virus / anti-trojan you would recommend?
Is it avgfree or lookout? Or is there some other choice?
Thanks once again!
Best AntiVirus is common sense.

Fizzerr is in fact correct. As long as you don't install any suspicious applications, that specifically have the permissions to access your SDcard and are specifically programmed to act as a virus and upload your data to the application author, then nothing could go wrong.

I found the galaxy tab email client was being ported to dell streak, and was curious to see if it would work on my phone.
Have tried it with several roms recently but I have found the new port of the desire S Rom to be the first that it works with.
It installs next to the HTC mail client.. haven't tested it much so don't know yet if notifications work. But it is definitley more pleasing to the eye than the other offerings.
If anyone can make this work on all roms it would be great.

Can be flashed via recovery... Or copy the .apk's to /system/app with root explorer
Hit the thanks button if u like

Did you tried it on the iceandfire rom? Or only on the sense roms

I've tried it on cyanogenmod 7 nightlies and it just reverted to the stock email.
Maybe I should've deleted the stock email first?
I would suggest nandroid backup before u go deleting the stock client.

It looks really nice but force closes basically on everything. Wish it was usable, Id use it.
Maybe someone could have a look at the apk?
Id really like this as my main client.

Hello
Have a question about sharing files via bluetooth on my HTC.. As it seems it is not possible to send archived files (zip, rar) or apk's. Only get options for mail and dropbox when trying to send.
On my previous device (xperia u) I could do this no problem whatsoever, even send it to my HTC One X.
Is it like this for everyone, or us it the custom rom I'm using that is doing this?
If so, any other filetypes that can't be send?
Thanks!

or use ES File Explorer. No problems to send everything via bluetooth with this.
Hi,
When I bought the Desire HD it had some "stock" photos, and music (like 5 tracks), now I made a mistake and did reformat the microSD card so all the media is gone, I'm asking where could I get this media from, is there some sort of repository, or any of you fellow DHD users happen to have it?
Thanks in advance,
tW4r
I think I still have them, and I'll see if I can get it uploaded when I get home if someone haven't already uploaded it.

P.S. Could you tell me in what folders were these files?
The pictures was in /sdcard/DCIM and the music was in /sdcard/music. Glad I could help
Thanks once again

I had a ringtone on my HTC one x called cloud level, which in my opinion is the best ringtone I've heard. I'm fairly sure it was one that I downloaded from the HTC hub.
If someone can get this ringtone or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated

no good it makes you sign up or it downloads it as an .exe file
Downloaded and works great for me, thanks a lot. If you don't want to sign up look into "bugmenot" it's got shared logins for that kind of situation.
