I have downloaded the Old free version of city id. I installed once several months ago and really liked it. However since then I have flashed a half dozen different ROM's and now I can't figure out how to install it again. I have in on the SD and I have astro installed but that is as far as I'm getting any help would be appreciated.

Would you mind posting the apk? I haven't been able to find a working version. I know most hate it but I like knowing where my call is coming from.

Hey all,
I had Swype working on my desire for a couple of months now. I got so addicted to it.
This morning, I flashed the new radio as well as the new LeeDroid 1.9a and when I restore my swype it told me that the trial period had ended.
It's really weird that it happens after flashing a new rom (I wiped everything).
Do you guys know if I can reset the trial period?
I tried uninstalling then re-installing the app, but it stil doesn't work.
I really need your help, I love swype!

Where does it say you can't post it? I'm trying to get Swype on my Evo, seems like it would make navigating the huge screen easier..
I don't remember where I saw that, but I think it's a matter of copyright.

Mine did the same. Hadnt changed anything thinj it must be a date based trial end. Will buy as soon as the damn Galaxy S exclusive ends.

I have recently converted from Sence based ROM to Vanilia based ROM (OpenDesire 4.0) and trying to find some alternative apps for the core features I use all the time on my phone. The main one I am looking for is an app which can select/copy and paste in most apps?
I have tried searching and googling and only seem to find this one which takes a screen shot and then OCR's but people say its very inaccreate. I am also only really looking for text not so much images.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks for the link. It seems its the same one I noticed earlier which doesnt quite do what I want. Will keep doing some research and will let you know if I find one suitable for just text.

Will do.
Just sorting out a few other apps atm due to converting from sence based ROM's.
Search the market for an app called 'Copy Paste It'. It's not as good as the Sense copy paste but it works pretty well.

heheh no problem. Looks like atm its the only opton. Shame really.
The htc Sense "copy/past" make all the difference..I'm SO UPSET that ONLY htc SENSE can make that !! I was happy too with my cyanogen Rom until I discover that navigation without the copy/past is just ****..how the F**k they didnt think about that when they realized these roms to include it!! because of that im back to htc sense which is so far the best for rightnow, I know that the problem is related to the "browser" naked in android, and the htc one called WEBKIT 3.1 have it...why is it not possible to include then the WEBKIT browser in the other non sense roms then ????
Just went to market and rom manager updated like 3 times. looks good except for some reason I lost my premium status. Went to link sent to me when I paid and it longer works. Anybody else having this problem. Sent email to dev. from market anyone know how to get in touch with him.

I don't think you can do anything but just email the developer! Unless you know the dude's personal cell phone or anything, no one on here can do much for you dude! In my personal experience in dealing with these like this, I always did a nandroid backup and flashed the rom again along with the gaaps again and as crazy as that sounds.....it works like 75 of the time...lol....GOOD LUCK AND HOPEFULLY YOU CAN GET A REPLY SOON!!
I just figured he is a member here. Ill try nand Ive got and see if it works. I figured Lic. would have stayed with program with just updates? Stanger things have happened.
So I am trying to download FIFA 12 (my favorite game on Android), and the additional files download keeps stopping at 50% (in this case, 1595MB). Is there any way to push these additional files on there? Is anyone else having this problem? Will be such a bummer if I can't play my favorite game on here. Thanks in advance!
I thank you for pointing this one out: I can see that I am not the only one having this problem.
My issue is identical to yours: installation stuck at 50%, error message "please quit the app and try again", start back from 580MB and sticking back to 595.
I suggest you to contact directly EA (which still has to answer me). The more we are, the sooner they are likely to intervene.

EA hasn't replied to me yet either y'all. I tried pushing files from the backup I made on my GNex (I know it shouldn't work, but I had to try something!) and yeah, it didn't work. I hope they fix this :/

Yes, the version has not changed, if anyone can install this game, please report. All the others, send messages to EA please!
I've heard of similar issues on the Galaxy Nexus and have had this ZIP saved which was intended to fix it.
It might instead eat your device whole (though I doubt it), but try if you want.
Unfortunately, I'm not rooted (nor I plan to), but this might help somebody else

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but for the sake of you saying it might eat my device whole, do I flash this ZIP via CWM and then try and download the game again?
If so, I will make a nandroid backup and give this a shot. Thanks!

I have no idea, I'm just taking a shot in the dark.
It's just a binary program in /system/bin, but I didn't want to make anyone think I knew what I was doing.
I have just received a first answer from EA, in which they basically ask for the same information I have given in the first message. I wonder if they take the time to read what we write them...
I'll report back for further developments, everyone else with the same problem, please contact EA as well!
Looks like they took it off our market as not compatible. Hopefully this is temporary so they can fix it. I paid for this app!

Hopefully EA sort this issue out..
As promised, update: they have forwarded the bug alert to the dev team, which will start working on it "as soon as possible".
Of course they weren't able to give me an ETA, so I suppose that all we can do is sit and wait.
Oh, and keep sending them bug alerts related to this issue, for all those that haven't done it yet. The more we are, the harder the pressure they will have, the quicker they will sort this out.
EA can't even get there console games fixed never mind the mobile platform games its a shambles

So, Trying to get my apps again and ran across an issue getting my Starbucks Card back... Only avail was for "Starbucks Hong Kong." This is weird, so asked a buddy he linked me the Sbux for Merica' and when opened in play store says "device not supported" .... WTF? -__- Can anyone else verify this? Or shine some light on this.... Is it because it's a new phone? 0.o'
This has happened to me with a couple apps, like Trials Frontiers. I assume it's because of the settings used by the developers when publishing some apps, it should be easy to fix, we just need to make them aware of the issue.
