USB Tethering Issues... - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay so I've tried 4 different types of tethering on my phone.
Wireless Tethering (Works great)
USB Tethering (Works great except no 4G)
PDANET (Works but NO 4G / Random Disconnects)
Easy Tether (Works the best , WITH 4G, but random disconnects)
So wireless tethering is fine and that isn't my problem.
PDANET along with Easy Tether for some reason both keep dropping connection randomly. It could be 20 minutes, it could be 1 minute, it could be 10 minutes, but the dang connection keeps getting dropped for some reason. I've tried looking and settings left and right but I don't know what it is and I don't know how to fix it.
USB Tethering with Froyo works great. I don't get any dropped connections except the dang 4G won't work! I get 2 bars in my apartment, but as soon as I run USB Tethering, 4G drops, 3G runs, and 4G scans, finds sprint, and drops.
I don't have 4G issues with my phone at all, only tethering with PDANET and USB Tethering.
If I can get some help from you guys, it would be either of these >>
Easy Tether : Figure out how to stop the random disconnections
USB Tethering : Figure out how to make 4G stay and let me connect with 4G
I have tried looking online for 4 hours. Every page on google has been turned purple because I visited them all. I need some help

easy tether cannot be fixed, usb tether cannot have 4g

Sprint Wifi Hotspot Not working :(

I went through this process last night Rooting part 1 2 the whole jazz:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7078116&postcount=145
Everything appeared to go well. I installed Fresh rom. However now when I setup my Phone for Sprint wifi hotspot everything is perfect, until I actually connect to the wireless connection. I am able to connect, but it keeps trying to identify, seems like it never receives an IP address and as a result although I am connected to Sprint Wifi Hotspot (confirmed on the device) the computer is never able to connect to the internet.
Strangely, the Wireless Tether app (free tethering) works fine. I would use this but it seems like it lag spikes more often than the Sprint app.
Appreciate any advice you might have!!! Really miss my internet! haha

Wi-fi tethering some probs

How's wifi tethering for you guys? I am on CM6, snap 7.6... and well it works alright, but sometimes a few people just can't connect unless I change the lan subnet, and that gets anoyying after a while. Also very sometimes I can't connect when the screen is off. (Using wireless tether)
Any of you have similar issues?

CM7(nightly #28) + wireless tether and 3G continously dropping

So the topic pretty much says it all. I can browse the web fine and not have 3G drop on Dolphin HD/native browser but once I turn on wireless tether the internet works for a minute or so then 3G will drop on my phone for 10 seconds or so then it will show back up. Is there a fix for this Is this a known issue?
edit: I'm running the 9.01 radio if that makes a difference.... and I've tried pdanet and it does the same thing. wireless tether 2.0.6

[Q] Intenet Connection in a Non-Wireless/Non Data Environment?

I work in a place where there is no wireless connection for my Epic and very bad data reception - however, there have been times when I need to get online with my EPIC and can't get a signal strong enough to support it -
is there something I can do to share my laptops connection thru my office's network? I wasn't sure if I could wirelessly or with wire tether my epic to my computer and take advantage of the internet connection I get thru my ethernet connection. I know I can tether my epic to connect my lap top to the internet but I didn't know if I could go the other way or not?
Any thoughts or is this a hopeless cause?
Dunno if this works for the Epic but http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=793102 might be helpful

[Q] 4G USB Tethering on Cyanogenmod base ROMs

So I've gathered from a couple threads that CM has a policy to not tether (USB or Wifi) on 4G - it drops you down to 3G. It seems that you can bypass this by running Wifi Tether for Root Users, and I've confirmed it works - 4G stays active (even if it's only maybe a meg faster than my 3G due to JB Wimax issues).
However, I can't find anything that will allow me to USB tether at 4G speeds. The built in toggle for USB tether works great (my system finds the NDIS driver fine). Anyone know of an app or even better, one with a toggle widget, that I could use to enable USB tether without dropping to 3G speeds?
Running Paranoid Android 2.54 by the way.
