Bluetooth _headphones_ that run on AAA / AA batteries? - General Accessories

Can anyone suggest any bluetooth headphones (stereo) that use standard AA or AAA batteries?
I've got a rechargable sony set that I always seem to run flat, I've got batteries everywhere so it seems a better choice for me.
I've seen several headsets (mono intended for calls) that take an AAA battery, but I'm really struggling to find a stereo set.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Anthony,
I’m using “Jabra BT2040 Bluetooth Headset”. It’s mono with AAA battery support. I have also searched Bluetooth headset AAA battery supported on many online shops, but couldn’t find any one.

Not sure if much use now, but I was struggling with this too. I just found these on the market though. Both the base station and the headphones run on replaceable batteries.
SENNHEISER RS 160 RS160 DIGITAL WIRELESS HEADPHONE SYSTEM

Try Scud SBT-216
After numerous attempts at search, finally found one made by Scud Guangzhou Digital Technology Co Ltd.
The stereo bluetooth headphone model is SBT-216, it is powered by 2 AAA batteries.
gtaparts on eBay Canada sells one (but was labelled as a "Bluetooth and stereo headset wireless AA battery powered handsfree for cellphone").
Will be looking to get one soon.
Cheers

3M and PROHEAR make bluetooth headphones that use AAA batteries. It seems a good search term is Work Headphones. I just ordered the 3M WorkTunes Connect and they come tomorrow.

There are many options. If you like wired solution, I would advice you getting the adapter we discussed in the above link.
If you like the wireless solution, I would advice get the BT adapter.
Two possible ones are: the itech R35 and the Globalsat BTH 820. Both have the normal 3.5mm audio output that can be connected to the AUX input of your car audio system.

Try the motorola s9 stereo blue tooth headsets. I know they are expensive and all, but they are pretty decent looking for a stereo bluetooth headset, most of which are have been pretty ugly so far. Here are the reviews. I am planning to buy one myself.

I know you might not be looking for wireless headset but I think they will become very popular in near future, given that most mp3 phones now support that a2dp functionality. Anyway thats my 2 c.
I don't know, but what do you people think of this one?

Hello. Unfortunately this type of headset (with mini usb) does not work with Prophet. I tried with a RAZR adapter and no sound... The link also does not included Dopod 818 (aka Prophet).
My recomendation is Jabra BT620s http://cgi.ebay.com/New-OEM-Jabra-Handsfree-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset-BT620s_W0QQitemZ140151107677QQihZ004QQcategoryZ133228QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
This is a BT Headset, the sound is very good and work fine with Propert.
I've this one and recomended.
See you.
Anyone know good ones that i can buy online, with wire.
Stereo headset
I did a lot of looking around before I bought my headset, and in the end chose the Plantronics Pulsar 590a. It kicks ass! It comes with a REALLY nice case, a headphone jack bluetooth transmitter (for your cassette walkman), an extra microphone extention arm, an inflight cable for use without Bluetooth, a wall and USB charger and a nice desktop stand.
Performance with the Prophet is great. If I'm listening to music and a call comes in, it switches over to Hands-free mode and I can touch the phone button on the earpiece to answer. After the call is over, the music comes back automatically. The earpiece remote also allows for voice-dail, switching tracks and mute/volume adjustment.
I did manage to fry mine by trying to charge it with the USB charger cable plugged into a car cigarette lighter style USB adapter. After that they would no longer charge. I didn't want to deal with the company I bought them from, so I called Plantronics direct. They wanted a scanned copy of the recipt, and when I sent it, I recieved an answer which said that a new unit has been shipped, and to please dispose of the old one. 2 days later I had my new headphones! Now that's service!
The only other complaint that I have with the product is the blue light on the earpiece. It kind of draws a lot of attention, but I love them! Best headset I ever owned!
Mine is a Dell BH200.. works fine..
expansys.com have tons of converters so one can use any 3.5mm minijack headsets
though not with mic i think

i use a coverter so i can use ordanery headphones for music, not to bothered about using it for calls
pairing bt headset for music
hi. I need help. Have bought a cheepo BSH01 BT stereo headset. Looks fine and works perfectly with calls. Can't get it to work with music though. Any clues? I have a O2 converted to PM300 WM5 (ROM 2.13.9.21 ITA radio 02.07.20). Something to do with a2dp? any player that I might use instead of wmp?
Thanks
i have buyied this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350027412931
what you think?

use existing 3.5mm headphones via A2DP?

Does an A2DP adapter exist that I can plug my headphones into so that I can use them w/my phone over bluetooth? I've already got some nice Etymotic ear buds, so I'm wondering if there's an adapter out there I could pair them with? I just did ~10mins of preliminary Googling w/o success.
it's all in the searching
Bleh. I wasn't looking for the correct thing. Searching for an "A2DP receiver" got me where I wanted to go. Now if I can only just find one made by a reputable company...

How about you check the one from SE, the HBH-DS200
And they have others as well
Motorola S705 Soundpilot. I bought mine over a year ago to use with my Razr2, now use it with my S621. You can skip back and forth on songs, pause, change volume, it has a screen on it with caller id, and built in fm radio. Uses mini usb charger, and 3.5mm earbuds. Retail was like $115, I got mine online for $50 n.i.b.

Bluetooth wireless speakers...

Ive been reading up on some bluetooth speakers an looking to getting either the logitech Z515 or the logitech boombox but none of them have the option to go the reg battery route, i understand that both of these units are rechargeable but i know during the summer im not always gonna be around a plug so wouldn't mind a unit that is rechargeable but still let's you go reg battery if need be, any of you guys know of any good ones would like to go with the same form factor as the two stated above, saw the rocket fish an a few more but don't like that cylinder shape, gonna be connecting it to my nexus so any suggestions?
I mean a speaker that is both ac adaptable (rechargeable), an can use regular batteries in case you lose charge anywhere were there is no wall outlet...
You could always look at the Bose - pricey but good quality. Soundlink Wireless Mobile speaker is what its called.
i bought 2 speakers and none have worked...

Modular Rechargeable Bluetooth Speakers

Good morning all.
Does anyone know if there are any modular, rechargeable bluetooth speakers? I am aware of the Creative 'z' series, but, these are not rechargeable.
Can a single bluetooth enabled phone or tablet pair with multiple bluetooth speakers at the same time? If so, do they sync so that they are in harmony?
I've done my due diligence and research, but my search results have been mixed at best, and confusing at times.
Are there better alternatives to bluetooth as wireless speakers for smartphones and tablets? My budget is <$200. So, Sonos and Bose are out of the question. My friend has the Sonos system, which is fantastic, but way out of my price range.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
