the official msn app from microsoft ist avalaible for iOS but why not for wp7? i think its very silly and a little bit funny for microsoft
all we have is the miyowa app, which apparently was paid by microsoft to make it.
It is funny they don't have their own app.
Hopefully, an update will fix it.

Hello.
Sorry for this dumb question, but this windows mobile is getting a real pain in the a**. Is it possible that in 2008 there are no filters for Mail ?!?
Do you know of a replacement for the messaging program (or at least Mail) ?!?
Do you know of a way of having mail automatically sorted based on some (even simple) filters/rules ?
Thanks.
Goooooooooooooooogle

Qmail. but documentation is kinda tough due to translation from Japanese.

I use flexmail 2008 beta and I have to say its so much improved from 2007
HAS anyone see this http://phone.msndirect.com/phone/index.html
Use MSN Direct to check for the latest news, current weather conditions, and get stock reports sent straight
to your phone.
I am happy with my HTC S620 but only because the iPhone is not yet available here in The Netherlands. 'Inventions' like this make Microsoft look so stupid. I am starting to feel sorry for them.
ps. my god, they call it a 'Technology Preview' ?! Stocks and weather?! What technology? And it has a sponsor section build-in? What's the point?! Please tell me.
Whatever apple fan boy... If you don't like Windows Mobile go buy an iPhone and be like everybody else.
Oh I was thinking this service used the FM spectrum like those MSN Direct watches....For a moment I thought "Phones can receive those signals?"
But no- it just uses a data connection.
I think this is spinoff from the watch based MSN Direct. I tried it and was highly unimpressed. I was thinking it was something like Yahoo Go, but instead it's a horribly designed homescreen.
will this work with the 6.1 sliding panel or still be all huge and multicolored like on 6.0
No sliding... Funny how a company can develop a great sliding interface and introduce a totally different home add-on at the same time.
guys this news is straight from Microsoft's Worldwide partner conference.....

When did they say that? I wouldn't be too shocked to see them actually update "my phone" with a new version that works with "Windows Phone Live". At least I hope they do. The back-end is likely extremely similar. Mostly just new UI and branding. Shoot, all the URLs they're using are still "myphone.microsoft.com"
myphone is liked to your live account so it wont be a problem as windows phone live (as the name suggests) will also limk to your live account.

ms wont stop myphone.. as it comes pre-installed in stock roms of 6.5 and 6.5.3.... it would embaras ms if customer buys a handset, and is asked on the myphone to get updated to the win phone live!! window phone live is a myphone only for windows phone 7.. windows phone live is a markettin strategy of ms for WINDOWS PHONE 7. they are willing to a give.. ah.. 25gb of space for file transferring, which is not in myphone.
myphone may get later updated for windows phone live... but quite later
It's just a name change + a 25gb free skydrive. Why do you complain about being given free features and upgraded cloud-space?
Actually, I'm looking forward to LiveMyPhone to be hacked to WM-non7 phones. I'm using MyPhone since beta stage and it always worked flawlessly, got evolved with new functions and now it's getting Skydrive-powered-25GB online storage... I want that now!
EDIT: they say you can even erase/locate your cell from remote for free (now you pay for that feats)... suck it, MobileMe! XD
Maybe the GPS will be good enough so that if I loose my phone in my house I can tell what room it is in xD. I'm excited about the 25GB transfer limit this will be great if we start having hacked roms and can get all of our files from the cloud upon loading a new ROM. If new ROM's will even be nessicary anymore of course.
Will Windows Live Messenger be available at launch on Windows Phone 7 ???

I don't like Ie9
Is there another browser for my hd2 with Mango?
SurfCube Browser.
Browser pluse

It might be worth people writing to the makers of browsers for other phones to see if they'll consider writing for WP7 Mango. I'd love to see something like the Dolphin browser (from Android) ported, and they've recently rewritten for iPhone so I'm sure they're considering all platforms.

Yeah, I gotta say ie9 has been a disappointment. Really would love to see an opera browser, like I had on my HD2 running winmo 6.5.x. That browser was light years better than ie9.

Firefox for Android is very nice, I abandoned Opera for it. Would be great to see on WP7.

Unfortunately this isn't possible all browser because WP7 doesn't allow native apps. So any browser will be mere wrapper of IE.

MS would maybe allow big companies like mozilla to write native apps...
And if not, cotulla & co are making big process on unlocking our WP7 devices to a level where we can write our own native apps...
waiting for OPERA on WP7.
I would LOVE Opera for WP7 although I highly doubt we will be getting Opera anytime soon, if ever, for WP7.
Although another browser similar to Opera, I would be extremely happy. I dislike IE9 quite a bit. Esecially the fact that you cannot browse with cached images... Kills my airtime.
Only thing I'd change was to add the tabs button back nodo browser was better like that.
