Hi,
I have an issue when I go into applications, then manage applications, I get an error message and I get a message telling me to force close.
Any ideas, I believe I need to delete some apps coz I've got a fair few on there.
Many thanks

same happened to me - I did a factory reset and problem went
Jim
I'm getting the same. I'm not doing a reset, it's a phone, I shouldn't need to have to keep re-installing all my app/settings all the time
I had the same problem, when i installed smart monitor lite from market.
since then it kept force closing, so i used quick uninstaller and removed that application, so i am able again to open and manage applications...
I've uninstalled all new apps with an app remover but it doesn't help
Might help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=664578
I randomly started having Android Market not really force close but it just exits out to my home screen when i try to install a app or update one. The apps wont update. Its also randomly exiting to the home screen. I went into recovery and fixed my permissions. I cleared Android Market cache and data. I wiped Cache and Dalvik cache just as a last resourt because i dont know what to do. ***** does some one have the lastest market app i can download*** maybe that would be a solution? Uninstall Android Market and fresh install of a newly downloaded one. Or maybe a slightly older one that is know to not have issues? This is the first time i have had problems with the market. ***has any one else experienced this problem before and if so what did you do to get it up and running correctly again***
Thanks in advance guys and gals. Mahalo!

"Unfortunately, Google Play store has stopped" Reloaded Gapps a few times. Is this an issue on their end or user error?
Used Titanium Backup to restore it.....guess it was user error.
Sorry for the wasted space. You can delete this thread.
is it my error?
This is the second time i had this issue, im using dark knight 3. is it my error? what did i do?i just wanna know..
Noob Observations
I installed Dark Knight 3 about three days ago. I have noticed the exact same issue, I am currently using Play 3.5.15 and the issue persists after repeated reinstalls of play (I also tried an older Market install which did the same thing). One thing I noticed but i do not know if its an issue (but it looks suspicious ) is that the Vending.apk file in /system/app is now 0 bytes. Any help greatly appreciated with this.

same problem here any solution?
RESOLVED
I don't have a full explanation but the issue is resolved. I installed a root explorer and over wrote the Vending.apk with the in /system/app, I cleared play app data and tried again. That didn't makea but of difference. Magically I tried running play a few hours later and it worked. Possibly a server side issue then? Hopefully it's resolved for everyone now anyone.

Its usually considerate to let others know what your solution was.
Therefore HOPEFULLY, someone searching for an answer may see your thread and not have to post another topic on the same issue.

I googled the solution. Firstly i downloaded play store apk from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2045571
however, i was still facing crashing issues and also got error process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Hence, i did this, Go to settings > Apps > All > Enable download manager.
Hope this helped

I gave you your first thanks for that.
Feels nice to give back doesn't it?
Hey there!
I get 941 error when installing apps way more often than on any other phones I used. I cleared cache & data for the play store (I also uninstalled updates) and the download manager, that didn't help much because almost every 4th app gives this error. Then I cleared cache & data for the play services, it's better now, but I still get the same error sometimes.
Anybody experiencing this or similar? Also, is there any way to fix this other than the 3 clears I mentioned above? Thanks in advance!
Try to delete the data of play store app. Worked for me
I already did that two times, and it didn't even solve the problem temporarily :/ Thanks for the tip, though.
Hm... Thes try to delete your Google account and add it new :fingers-crossed:
I used to get it every time. Cleared app data and cache which has helped.
I just get the occasional error now and again.
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Free mobile app
edit the host or just delete it(system/etc/host) file then u good to go
i get this all the time now, ever since my phone went to lg for repair. i get the 941 error, then i click install and its installed fine...weird
update: Reading another thread on the forum, if you uninstall the updates for the google play store, that stops the 941 error, but be aware that the play store will update itself as soon as it can. ive turned off auto updating so i'll see if that helps
