I don't know what I am searching for. But I ran a sense rom (virtuous) and ever since that rom my personal contact icon doesn't show up. How do I bring that back? I don't know exactly what to search for... sorry for the inconvience.

I have successfully run the registry edits here to remove the wireless manager icon and screen rotate icon at the bottom of the screen. My screen is now much bigger. Thank you.
I added the date and time to the task bar (I think that is what they call it, at the top of the screen, where "Start", Activesync status, GPRS connection, etc are displayed, right?) using a registry edit from this site. The only problem I am having is on the today screen that silly battery icon overwrites the date and time. How can I get rid of this battery icon (at the top of the screen)?
I have searched the sight for help on this topic and haven't found it. I'm certain someone will tell me I need to look harder and will paste a link to my answers. That's OK. I really did try to find the answer myself before posting for help.
I have done some looking around in the registry and tried to edit but access is denied. I was going to try to remove the key or change the DWORD value but I keep getting "access denied" I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Can anyone held either with access issues or with getting rid of the battery icon in the task bar?
Thank you.
What rom are you running? most newer roms don't have that DAMNED battery icon there anymore, I have a wizard, so I'm not sure the same is true for the universal. Everyone hates that thing, try this

I think that should help you, but do read the thread a bit since I can't guarantee anything, post back with results if you need more help.
Sweet! That solves it.
Thank you masr1979.
That solves my problem perfectly. I recently broke my left wrist and can't wear a watch. I have to rely on my Universal now and it was really bugging me that I had to add the date and time to the today screen. Due to other plug-ins I'm running it didn't work out well.
There is no way I would have found that plug-in without your help. It's a shame that there isn't a better way of organizing all these ROM upgrades, apps, and plug-ins. I think it would eliminat a lot of questions
Thanks again!
Well it would be really hard to organize since this forum has a lot of users, and sometimes we don't like to read too much most of the questions get asked over and over and over again, so all those topics in turn make it harder for people to find the information they are actually looking for unless they have a clue as to what they are looking for.
Your questions has been answered a few times before, but in all honesty even though I new the file I was looking for I still had some trouble finding the thread, I hear people complain that the search function here isn't the best in the world, so maybe there's some truth to that
Anywho, happy I could help.
I made a search on the forum and found nothing just the idea very briefly discussed and it seems like this added menu to the options of Outlook on the Smartphone would be priceless, does anybody have any more information on something like this. TIA
question marks help...I came here thinking u made something very useful.
sorry my bad, didn't know but now I know
Is there any way to display the next appointment on the Calendar section of the homescreen instead of just Today and Tomorrow's Appointments?
I seem to remember that there was that option somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it.
Any Help would be appreciated.
Russ
Yes i would like to know as well, maybe like 7 days out at least.
Does anybody have any ideas? I have found the setting if I were using the WM screen instead of TF3D, but I have been unable to find a setting for TF3D.
Thanks
Bump

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have a very customized theme and clock, and do not want to lose either of those with this modification. Is there just a cab out there to JUST modify the amount of appointments shown?
Thanks,
KD8FRE
Anyone ever find a solution to this? I just want my appointments to show more than one day in advance...like maybe a week or two. I dont want to change anything else. Can anyone help with how to do this? I have searched and found the question asked several times, but never answered.
Hello everyone I would like to thank everyone for your hard work...
Second I would like to apologize if I'm posting in the wrong section..
Now I would like to ask and sorry if this has been discussed before..
I would like to change the Me option that you get in the message tread... Like when you speak with someone it says Me and your message, I would like to have a custom name....
Here is a picture that show what I mean.... how you get Me: and the name of the other person you are texting!!
I would appreciate any answer...
Thanks....
it sounds like a silly request, and im not sure if it has been answered already elsewhere, but i too would like to know if this is possible, most of my touch pro 2 is customized as far as carrier name and so on, but that "me" is still there lol would like to customize this as well.
Interesting question. I guess you stumped everyone. It'd be interesting to know though.
This is likely a resource in one of the .mui's, a simple ResourceID = "Me"
So you could use reshacker or similar to edit it, assuming it is in a .mui (which it should be)
I been looking for this for a long time now and havent been able to find anything helpful... and since I see a lot of themes, skins and mod for windows mobile cellphones I thought of this and so I ask hoping someone would know...
but it seen that no one knows...
I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but I can not find, for this I am sorry. I am running Fresh V3.2, and although his default incoming call screen is better than stock, I still would prefer one of my choosing. Can someone guide me in the right direction on how to this? To be clear, what I want to do is change the picture that pops up and stays on during the call with the number on an incoming call. Obviously this is only for people who are not in my contacts as I can assign any picture I want to a contact. Much love to the anyone who can steer me the right way. Again I'm sure this has been covered but have spent two days now, and can not find it. Even used the search button!
That's a good idea, is love to change that picture to something nicer. I can't look now, but I'll dig into a Rom or two when I get home, if some else doesn't first.
Hey... I think this thing makes phone calls too!

I did do a little searching in some roms, but I'm not sure if it's just a png/jpeg, or if there is more to it. Appreciate your help.
k, looks like the default contact photo for the in call screen is in the Phone.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\phone_default.png Well, in Vaelpak anyway, but I'm relatively certain all the current stock based roms use the same. Now what to replace it with. Do you have something in mind? If you can post up the pic or graphic you want, I can put it in the apk for ya.
Next will be to find the default contact picture for the Contacts and Dialer, that blank faced icon is bothering me now.
Ha, as I expected that is something I would never have found. Now that I know what I'm looking for I should be able to make it work with a little more research. And actually the picture I have in mind is a picture of a '67 Shelby GT 500 (Eleanor), but it's a particular pic of that car. I will have to find it again, after work I will get looking for it, and post it. You've answered my question though, thankya much. And if you do end up changing the default pic let me know how it works out for you, I'll do the same if I get it going tonight. Thanks again.
Any luck with this? I think I'm going to start digging into it right now.
After finding that file on fresh 3.2, I open it and it shows the stock android pic, but on this rom that isn't the picture that shows up on the caller id, leading me to believe that there is more to this job, and beginning to think we need some more help because now I'm lost...
