I know in CM6.1 under the dev tools app there is a pointer location tool that shows where you touch the screen and draws lines that you would make.

Quite a few setting screen have white font on black background. I really hate this Is there a way too change this? For example to black on font on light background?
I run EVIO rom 1.2 and netarchy cfs kernel 4.1.8
the bootscreen. do a search on how to change it, there are a few applications that'll do it for ya.
Thanks for the hint. I searched the forUm and web, but could only find apps that change the boot animation. What I want is to change the colors in the settings screen (where you configure for example bluetooth or wireless settings).

There is a way to change your splashscreen. Are you talking about the screen that pops up when you first turn on the phone?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
No, I am talking about the settings screen where you can disable wireless, bluetooth, pin code etc. (menu-> settings). I would like to change the color (currently black).
Apparently this seems to be more difficult than rooting 2.2

Ok, I give up. it doesn't seem to be possible

Many of you will agree with me when i say im sick of this thing, light hits it all the time and when it does it messes with what im doing, from texting to surfing the web it gets annoying for the phone to do what it wants
To clarify I mean the optical joystick located between the menu an back buttons
so is there any simple ways to do this? im no dev bug im not completely dumb either
On the power bar widget, tap the one that looks like a sun until the green light stays bright green. That will keep the screen always brightly lit regardless of lighting conditions

Lol never mind, I read your post and then the one below it and figured you just meant the light sensor. Um... In regards to your request, I honestly have no idea hopefully someone else will chime in and help?

I ran across it in root explorer once, its not the build.prop but its similar. But I can't remember where it was or what the name of the file

Nvm I found the file that I thought was it. Instead it didn't do anything when I removed the values

I'm trying to adjust the color of my Evo. My wife has an epic and side by side her screen looks arguably better. Now before you start to tell me about the properties of a samled screen ...lol I just want to be able to adjust the color a little more. Looked and can't find anything.

There might be something other than this (probably is), but the renderfx app on CM has a couple different settings.
Yup, there is an app brought over from the nexus one that will let you do this but the thread got buried awhile back.

Just wondering if and how you can change the navigation software that is used whilst in the car panel mode?
I have CoPilot and would much rather use it over Google...
Any thoughts anyone???

Can't you just add a shortcut for the new Nav app and move it around the 'pages' so it appears on startup page then select it?
Desire HD : CM7.2.0 RC1 : Tapatalk 2.0.1
In car panel mode it does not seem possible to change any apps, incl default navigation

If you set your phone up on your dash it can be used as a HUD display, text readout, gps nav, etc... any way to make an app that inverts your screen so you can read it through a mirror/windshield reflection

There is a heads up display app in the market called: GPS HUD that will give you some of what you are looking for Mate, go check it out. Its FREE!
Hope that helps....

AndroHUD also does this.
I was thinking more of the entire screen. Its happening already on tnz blend ics rom on accident on my epic but the touchscreen is oriented correctly so the button pressing is off.
