CyanogenMod Settings - Input settings, all the way down is your quick key settings.
I really don't know why you would want to delete any system apps from CyanogenMod, but if you want to try using Titanium Backup, which can remove system apps.
Delete from the zip
I find it much easier and better to add/remove apps from the CM zip file before I flash. Do a nandroid backup of data and reflash your modified CM zip then restore. This has the added benefit of "protecting" the programs that you always use.

Hi there,
I'm moving ROMS and would like to know how to back up game data/ app data only, not including the app packages. I backed up both previously and had problems!
So, I would just like to back up game saves etc..
I have titanium backup.
You have the option in titanium to restore data only.
Ie. During batch restore, click on restore user apps with data, then select data only and deselect the apps your not restoring data to.
You can also long tap on any listed app in the backup/restore tab, tap restore, data only

Okay, thanks for the swift reply.
Just a quickie, I'm a bit confused.....
When backing up, which option do I select after I have selected 'batch'?
Isn't there an option to back up the app data only?
Cheers
Select - backup all user apps. It will backup the apk well as data.
There is an option in the preferences about the apk, but I've never tried it.
Can't hurt to have a backup of the apk anyway although best to restore data only, particularly restoring across different ROMs.

Hi guys
I understand that,to uninstall bloatware apps u install titanium backup and uninstall, via that.
But what about apps that u want to add, so that when you reset the phone it will be,automatically be there as standard
You can also use titanium backup to "convert to system app" which should do what you're asking about. You can also move the app to the system apps directory using system restore (search about incorporating system app updates into the rom to save space).
But honestly, why would you want to ADD MORE apps as an immovable system app unless you're building a ROM? Don't bother with the hassle, just leave it as a user app and make a titanium backup of it.
Hello here
is there any way that the apps that we download from the Google play are automatically saved on my sd card so that i dont have to download them..thnx
Use some app like app backup and restore from play store.
U can use rom toolbox..

The closest thing I think would be a Backup/Restore tool like Titanium Backup (though root is required) http://matrixrewriter.com/android/
Use appinstaller you can backup your roms with it which will create a apk

There is an app called Auto App Organizer. Free and paid version. Makes a backup of apk at either install, uninstall, or both. ROM toolbox does as well on uninstall.
If you are rooted, grab Root Explorer (file manager), go to root of phone (not sd), open "data" folder and then "app" folder.
You'll find all your apk's there.
Use apk extractor its free easy to use.

I don't know of any applications that automatically backup .apks when they are intially downloaded from the Google Play Store, but Go Backup will let you schedule regular automatic backups. It can do .apks alone without root, and .apks+data with root.
Use an app that backs it up and restores it

Auto App Organizer does this at installation, and also at uninstallation.
It will categorize your apps, keep track of when there are updates ready, etc.....
You would think I am selling this app, but I use titanium backup. This one is automatic at install. You don't have to do anything but set your preferences. It takes it from there.
It is exactly what you are looking for.
I've easily rooted and flashed several different phones.
The problem I always run into is restoring my apps, themes and settings.
Every time I install a new ROM, I lose all that. My apps are backed up via google. I've tried Titanium Pro...made backups, but can't for the life of me figure out how to easily restore everything. Is that even possible?
I was hoping the steps would be:
1. Backup apps, theme, settings, data (phone logs, pictures, etc).
2. Flash new ROM
3. Restore apps, theme, settings, data
4. Enjoy
But my step 3 has always been:
Re-install all apps, edit settings, put apps on homescreens, put widgets on homescreens, forget data...sometimes it takes me a day or two to "remember" all the cool apps and settings. Am I just plain clueless, or does everyone suffer in this regard?
I do not suffer from this at all.
Use TB to backup and restore APP only, no data.
Use nova, apex, holo or any other launcher that allows you to backup and restore desktop shortcuts as well as launcher settings.
Use SMS backup to backup and restore text messages.
Restore data using TB one app at a time if you really need it, just be aware that restoring data may cause issues with your new ROM. I restore data for games only...

Titanium is a powerful tool, but not very user-friendly to the uninitiated. When you flash a new ROM, download titanium backup and the pro key (always do the key second). When you open TB, hit menu, then preferences, and scroll down to Backup Folder Location. Tap that and tell it to search the whole phone. After a moment it should find your backups. Select it, Hit Use Current Folder, then back out to the start screen. Hit the check mark in the upper right and when it presents you with your backup/restore options, select restore user apps. It's perfectly okay to restore user apps with their data. Just don't restore system apps with data (in fact don't restore system apps at all). As mentioned before, if you use a third party launcher, your homescreens should be saved as part of that backup (except for widgets, which you'll have to add back yourself). You'll still have to set your settings back and reapply any themes, but you're most of the way there.

Cant back up theme.
Data restore works better when rom base is same, from one 4.0.4 to another. If switching bases, avoid data and setting restore
You should have no problem restoring data from downloaded apps thou

I have a few questions about removing bloatware from the stock ROM.
1) The guide here suggests removing the apk from the system partition. What about all the other installation files and data? How do you remove that?
2) Would using the uninstall option in titanium backup be better?
3) (For apps that are in /system but have been updated) Is is better to use titanium backup's "integrate update onto ROM" option or manually move the apk from data to system?
Thanks

i would remove bloatware with titanium back-up. But an even better option would be to install a stock-ics-based custom rom which has all bloatware removed
1. Use titanium backup to clear app data before uninstall.
2. Use titanium
3. Do it like you want. Titanium may be more easier

Or use an app called system cleanup free from play store it gives you brief description of what each file is and if safe to remove, and it will delete all related data
