I'm planning to buy Desire HD and on my Desire I've almost got three stars on all the levels. Is it possible to transfer my save data to Desire HD somehow. Can anyone help please.

someone told me about the 'Angry Birds Backup' and 'Angry Birds Seasons Backup' today for unlock, restore and backup high scores.
No idea if this would work or not - but apparently doesn't need rooting...
The way i have done this before is to use root explorer and go to /data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds/files and copy the highscores.lua to your sd card.
Then if you transfer this to your DHD and install angry birds
*YOU MUST PLAY THE GAME AT LEAST ONCE TO CREATE THE HIGHSCORES FILE*
Just play the first level.
Then use root explorer on your DHD to go to /data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds/files and delete or rename the highscores file and paste in your highscores.lua file from before.
The only problem i have found is that it may force close the 1st couple of times you play and if you have not played every level then you will need to replay the last level you have finished to unlock the next level.
comments on the angry birds season backup didnt look like it worked anyway... maybe because the users had to root or it wouldnt work - but there didnt seem to be any notes to suggest that but it makes sense.
I use MyBackup to backup all my apps + data (Plus contacts, sms, mms, etc) when reinstalling roms. Should work between phones.
It's then like I've never wiped

I've purchased angry birds backup and downloaded seasons backup cos i had to make a hard reset of the phone. One word.... it works!!! You just have to pass one level to restore the save game

When I purchased it, the developer said he would be updating it to include Angry Birds Seasons... I had to wipe my phone, and I didn't realize there was a separate app, so I lost ALL of my Seasons data. Had 3 stars on all of the Halloween levels and Xmas (through day 9).
Does anyone have a save file that has all of the Halloween levels passed w/ 3 stars?

unrooted, but I would use the Angry Birds Seasons backup to restore the save file. It worked for the original.

That might work for the same version of angrybirds, but what about for diferent versions?
I have save files from 1.4.2 and now I want to use that saves with the new 1.5.1 version but it didn't work, downloaded from android market 3 times and it said 'install failed'. I manage to get the .apk file on sdcard and tried to install but no success, it said "there's not enough space" ??? lol
So I unistall the 1.4.2 version and install the 1.5.1 and the save game/highscore didn't work. Every time I copy/move the highscores.lua the game stops working, it closes itself after loading screen. The only solution was unistall and install again starting all levels again.
EDIT: Found the solution, I didn't check file permissions, it must be 660 but it wasn't. chmod 660 highscores.lua solved the problem.
Anyone have a save file with 3 stars for all the seasons levels in the newest version. I just lost everything right after I 3 starred the game and I really dont wanna redo it all.

Seems doable with Titanium Backup (others please confirm) although I personally wouldn't recommend that since I have heard complains of apps that force-close after being restored.
Can anyone else confirm or dis confirm this? I would hate it to loose my angry birds scores

Heh was my main concern (Angry birds highscores). I actually managed to get the settings out, and then put them back afterwards in recovery mode using adb. The files u want are located in the directory at: /data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds. Wiped, upgraded put Angry birds back on, shoved phone back in recovery and over wrote the new angry birds settings and highscores.lua file. (Actually the highscores.lua file is a text file with sections like:
Level27 = {
completed = true,
birds = 2,
score = 38660,
lowScore = 29190,
}
Hmm tempted to cheat, but I'm not gonna!!!

I'm new to all this. I worked on pcs in years past, so I know newbies can be annoying. I'll do my best not to be. My phone doesn't work right now so any help with my questions or anything is really appreciated. I'll do my best to read & follow all the rules here.

I'm familiar with Lucky patcher & it's been on my phone since it was modded.
2. AppGame (folder)
This folder contains a cache folder with World of Warcraft files, and an icon folder filled with many executable files. I have never played this game & I've never lent my phone out, no friend who used my wifi while visiting plays. I'm at a loss. I have passwords on everything & change them regularly. My tech guy (gone now which is why I'm here) & I are the only ones who had passwords, & I still change them so he never had them for long.
Any insight?

From a quick google there it appears Lucky Patcher is an app used to circumvent games security, and pirate them, you must have some pirated games or apps downloaded to the phone, and if you do you are not aware of them..... we can not discuss piracy here, so ill move on :
The below is assuming yours is a gsm model : ie, it has a sim card?
If you can remove the battery,hold the volume down for 2 seconds and insert the battery, then power on it will bring you to a white screen you then use vol up and down to navigate to recovery, and then power button selects it, you are then in clockwork recovery then you can try deleting all the data from the through the recovery software, to do it, wipe data | factory reset, reboot and you should be back in action
Be warned though, you will delete everything off the phone and it will be like starting all over again!
I would suggest removing your sd card first if you have one, and removing all photo and video beforehand if there is anything important!

Lucky patcher is the app with a little yellow smiley right? It's package name is com.chelpus.lackypatch, so it will be same app and it does create a folder lacky patch. ( Maybe the app developer did a typo... who knows?)

Just got a GT N7100 few days ago. rooted it. i have lots of games installed like max payne, gta3 etc. so all my storage is gone. i want to ask how do i move games and apps to external sd? can i backup game data which is everytime whopping over 1gb so that i do not need to download it again if i reinstall any game. is there any way to move gamedata to ext. sd?
and:victory: i just got idea if i do not uninstall game back but just backup gamedata and delete it from phone to free up memory and when i need app i just move back data to its original location which is usually android data, will it work.

No if you want to use the same files/folders on another phone. The game downloads files for your specs, not for other phones.
If its for your or another Note 2 then it might work if the game has not been updated since your backup. If it has been updated it might need the new files.

what about if i do not uninstall game back but just backup gamedata and delete gamedata from phone to free up memory and when i need app i just move back data to its original location which is usually android data, will it work and yes i will be doing this on same phone.
That will probably work unless you open it by a mistake. Maybe not if it has the permission to run at startup. It could look for the files then, and not find any.
Both of the solutions i linked to works for me.
Directory Bind is most useful for me with this phone.
And then you don't have to wait for the copying every time you want to play a game.

Remember that apps with root access can do everything they want with your phone, including making it as usefull as a brick.
Don't use an app with root access until you think you understand a little of what it does, and you have read a few reviews/posts about it.
Be extra careful with root apps that are not in the Play store/Market. This is not. Why are they not there? Maybe because Google rejected it because it does bad things?
I wanted all of the data in the folder DirectoryBind on my external SD card. What you are supposed to do then (step 2 in that guide) is change the default data path to /mnt/extSdCard/DirectoryBind. I wrote /extSdCard/DirectoryBind because my Galaxy S II had a link to the microSD card there. The Note II does not, so the /mnt/ is important

a) 1 Billion
b) 65 Million
c) 3 Million
Steps
1) Download and Extract any of the 3 ZIP Files attached
2) Go to your Phone's SD Card to the path => sdcard/Android/data/ . Here, there should be a folder named com.kiloo.subwaysurf
3) Take a Backup of this Original folder / Copy it somewhere else
4) Copy the extracted folder that you downloaded (com.kiloo.subwaysurf) at the location sdcard/Android/data/ over-writing the existing one
Start Subway Surfers, Sit Back, Relax !!!
To revert to your older game, copy the original folder back at the location mentioned above.

i prefer to use gamecih.. also, for another game you can use freedom app..
its works but hacked score is not sync with Facebook. Facebook stills shows my old score on my friends mobile not new one..
How can I change my record in facebook because i downloded the 1 billion one from here (it wasn's so interesting as i thought it would be) and since i copied it, i tried to change it with my old one but it stays the same record in facebook. When i first get in the game after i copy the old save files the record is shown on the train on the starting screen but when i see the records of my friends in facebook it shows the 1 billion record. And when i restart the game my record has changed to 1 billion on the train. I tried with uninstalling the game and installing it again but this didn't help too. So i would ask for some little help.

It works on rooted device only.
Delete the socialdata from /data/user/0/Com.kiloo.subwaysurf/Files & you will be good to go, now open subwaysurf & check friends / leaderboard. See screenshot.

I'm not very tech savvy, nor do I have a rooted phone. I have the latest subway surfers (sydney) with everything unlocked and unlimited coins and keys. All I want is a certain highscore, 31,279,392 to be exact.
Is it possible for you to do this? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey, u basically need root to use tools like game Guardian. .etc. Another method is to replace your score files with already modified ones.
If you require a particular score then u would need to use game modifying tools and that requires root. So sorry. U at least need root to proceed.

just remove the Real Racing Folder in Android/obb and download again. The saved data will be in Android/data folder, so dont uninstall it as it'll take the saved profile too. I had this problem for an earlier version of the game.

It's the first time downloading, so the profile is not the problem ... It resumed to 95% now and gives me a message that there is a download error ... I think a link for the data (for tegra devices) is all i need, but i can't find any on Google
