Plain Black TPU Case

Has anyone tried this case yet?

It states that it is a TPU case. And, it doesn't appear to have any patterns of any kind. If you have ordered one, let us know how it fits. Pictures would be great also! I will be ordering my Captivate next week!

I found similar items on Ebay. I believe that they still have the argyle pattern, but on the inside; since the material is solid instead of transparent you cannot see them once you insert the phone. I have ordered one and am waiting for delivery.

Awesome! Would love a few pictures when yours comes in! Can you post a link to the eBay auctions where you've seen this? Or, did you purchase the one I posted?

I bought one off of ebay, here is the link (ebay case). Upon further review, I am not sure if Polyolefin is the same as TPU, perhaps it is a blend. I suppose I will find out in a few days.

Thanks for the info!

from your links, if you change the colors to the transparent one, it still has the argyle patterns. probably its the same case with the Amzer brand one...

You are correct, and that was the point I was trying to make, sorry if I wasn't clear. I do however think that the offering is different than the Amzer selection, because all the Amzer cases are made from transparent material. This case however appears to be made from non-transparent material which prevents you from seeing the Argyle pattern that is imprinted on the inside. It still has the pattern, but since you do not see the inside once the phone is inserted then you can no longer see the pattern. At least, I hope this is the case. I suppose I will find out soon enough.

Any of you get this yet? It looks quite promising IMO

I will counter your link with a cheaper link...LOL.
TPU Case
There were 2 listed...one from Day Deal, which I bought, and the one linked above which also appears to be Day Deal under a different name. If you want it, you'd better hurry!!!

Only thing I don't like about these TPU cases is that they're glossy...
The Body Glove at least puts the stripes in it to get it grippier... Is it worth over twice the cost? Probably not.

Just received the case from the Ebay link that I posted and I am quite impressed. It is a nice solid black that almost retains the stock look and feel. Much easier to hit the softkey buttons at the bottom and slide the brightness along the top than when I had the black silicone case on it. It is glossy, but looks very nice. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a solid black TPU case, and does not want to see the funky Arglye pattern or whatever it is called. I will try to upload some pictures later if I can figure out how to get the pictures off my wife's camera without a cord...

the black tpu case looks very bland..and the glossy finish doesn't help it at all

The case quality is really good, fits well & it doesn't add bulk (around 1mm thick), it feels great in hand & it ads more grip to the phone.
Highly recommended if u want a tpu case.
Think I'll order a second one (black) cos mine is the clear black case (semi transparent) & I think the full black one will make the device look better with all those black edges & corners.

Rubberised Transparent Hard Back Case Review

Hi Guys I brought this case a while back and I have been using it every day since. I made a review also around the time I brought it and thought I would share it with you. This is a great case.
Pros:
Hard back
Covers all plastic on back and sides

Yea in original post update, pink or purple one is £2.99 whereas the black one is £3.49

SGP Neo Hybrid - Being released weekly, starting today.

Looks fugly. Also the case didn't seem to fit snug at the bottom. Hopefully someone can chime in on this.

i just ordered the infinitely white, i'm very excited!

i'm intrigued by this case as well. i wonder how much thicker/wider it makes the phone though. it looks like to have the same added size as the case-mate pop case i had on my skyrocket. if thats the case (hehe word joke) then i'll pass =/

The phone itself is already pretty thin, almost the same as the ipod touch/ a pencil so for me thickness wont be that big of a deal, unless it's something like the otter case :/

Not quite the same idea at all. The SGP is a 2 piece case with a TPU backcover + Polycarb frame. Similar to Incipio's Sylicrylic or Seidio's Active X case except it doesn't use silicone so hopefully doesn't get loose at the top/bottom end.

I wasn't talking about the material either Same color scheme sure, but more that it's a single piece case vs a 2 piece back cover + frame case.

Got my Infinity White today. Barely adds any thickness. I also have a Casemate Pop for my S3, but this is a lot lot thinner. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a thin case. My only complaints are the power button is so sensitive at first, you don't even know you've pressed it until you take your finger off of it. Also like any other matte TPU case (oh yeah, it's TPU) it's kind of slippery. But definitely recommended for anyone looking for some basic protection. Not recommend for anyone who drops their phone constantly or from high places.

Do actually clear TPU Cases exist?

my quest for a truly clear TPU Case..
I've purchased a few "clear" TPUs through amazon in hopes of finding something that is actually clear.. no such luck.. the goal being to display my pebble blue in all it's glory..

do truly clear cases exist for this phone? if so i would like to purchase one. I did come across a 1 piece slim fit similar to a ringke re-earth or a casemate barely there.. not really what im looking for.

One thing to note though: they end up looking dingy and yellow-brownish after about a week or two. NOTHING will clean it, I know as I've tried every compound known to man

I got this one a few weeks ago, and it's great. Fit is perfect and all the cutouts are dead on. In the picture, it looks a little cloudy, but on my WHITE S3 it looks great, you can read the logos on the back through the case perfectly. On a Blue S3, might end up "lightening" the blue somewhat.

I bought this same case and it was horrible. Innacurate cutouts and when you finally get it on there are blotches under the case. The seller told me clear tpu cases all have this issue
